I shifted in my bed as my alarm began buzzing. I sat up quickly. Shit I had overslept and my sister hadn't bothered to wake me up. I quickly brushed my hair and threw on my uniform. I hurried down the stairs and got a strange glance from a friend of my parents that was over before running out the front door and into the rain. The strange glances were a normal thing for anyone who personally knew my family. Me and my sister are twins, we look similar in every way but our hair. Both of us are feminine and petite and wore skirts and dresses, the only problem with that was I was Tiya's twin brother. So when my parents would talk to their co workers about us I was referred to their son, but I looked like another daughter. No one in my class even knows that. Everyone thinks I'm a flat chested girl. Sometimes it's funny to see the expressions on faces of people who know I am a guy when they see me out and about. I was already a block away from home when it hit me. I had forgotten my umbrella and if I went back I would be late. My sprint slowed to a walk as I thought to myself. Tiya, me, and some of our friends were going to the gym after school. Kasai and Tiya were going to spar for a while before Kasai would have to leave. Miko and myself were going to hit the treadmills and work on our running speeds. I got lost in my thoughts and almost walked out in front of a car. I heard a honk and quickly jumped back. I snapped out of my trance in time to see a car zoom past me.

"Man I need to pay more attention." I muttered to myself as I rubbed the bridge of my nose. I was normally more alert than this, but my brain had become more distracted lately. Not sure from what but I had a feeling it had to due with some inner emotions. I tried to shake them and it kind of worked, at least for now. I continued my walk to school and it was pretty uneventful.
