Life was pretty interesting for me and my twin brother, Taylor. We lived a good bit of our lives in Michigan City, Indiana. I know what your thinking 'but Tiya you and your twin have Japanese last names'. Yes that's true, but that's because our mom is from Japan. Our parents aren't married so when me and my brother were born we were given our moms surname of Hikari. I woke up this morning to the soft sounds of rain tapping on my window. I crawled out of bed and stretched my angel like wings. I didn't mind the rain, since I could easily manipulate it into vapor around me. I got ready for school and headed down stairs. Tay was still sleeping, he liked his beauty rest. I made some toast before heading out. I told my parents to have good days at work and to not get killed. We all kind of chuckled but I felt completely serious. I didn't bother waiting for Tay as I headed out the door. I jumped from the ground and soared into the air. To be completely honest, the rain felt pretty good, especially on some of the burns I had on my arms. Some of them were from a squall me and Tay had, the others were from a training session with Bakugou, but the fire and explosions don't bother me as much as they would most people and that's because I am a pyromaniac. I may have power over water, but I absolutely love fire. I was humming softly as I flew through the skies. I felt like school was going to drag on, it always seemed to when I had training plans after school. Today it was going to be a hardcore MMA session with my bestie Kasai. She was a strong fighter, even without using her quirk. Her right hook was super powered by her bionic arm which made her a great opponent. Normally I train with Bakugou but we both agreed I needed to let my current burns heal up before we did anymore training.

"Hmmmm I wonder if Kasai is already at school?" I asked myself. Kasai was always the first one at school out of our small friend group. She never told us why she always got there so early and none of us really pried at her to get an answer. Hell she still refuses to tell us why or how she ended up with a bionic arm, she always just says 'it's to long or a story that I don't want to get into.'. I let my mind slip off track for a singular moment before snapping back into reality as I flew towards a stunning rainbow that was fading in the air. I was almost to school.
