8. SIN
"I honestly can't wait!" Ellie exclaimed. "It's going to be the highlight of the year!"
"Where are they holding it?" Lauren asked, giving her daughter a brief glance.
"Not sure yet. They're still searching for the perfect venue."
The conversation continued. It was always the same thing. This felt alien to me. I never had dinner with the whole family sitting at the table. Beth served dinner and then disappeared only to reappear when everyone was finished. I learned that she ate in the kitchen. She also cleaned everything after everyone was finished.
I liked helping her.
She didn't like that though.
I pushed the strange-looking vegetables around my plate. It tasted really bitter. Something brushed against my leg. I jerked back, and accidentally hit the glass of water near my plate.
Lauren gasped and sprang up.
My eyes widened when I saw the wet patch forming in her shirt and pants. I risked a glance up at her face. She raised her hands, and I instantly flinched.
"Stupid girl!" she exclaimed. "Look what you did!"
My lips parted but only a whimper escaped. She moved, gripping my arm and pulled me up.
"It was only an accident," Draven stood and wiped at the water. "It's water Lauren, it'll was out."
He glanced up at me and gave me a small smile. One that quickly faded when his eyes fell on her hand gripping my arm. "You're hurting her."
She gasped. "I'm so sorry honey!" Lauren exclaimed. "I didn't mean to hurt you."
I rubbed my arm as I walked away. Tears blurred my eyes. Instead of heading to my room, I walked into the bathroom and softly closed the door. Leaning back against it, I sucked in a breath and slowly blew it out.
I wanted to go back to Tyrone's house. I felt a lot safer there than here. With my eyes closed I could almost imagine myself back in Michel's arms. The way he held me and whispered in my ear.
The way he smelt.
I flushed.
Tyrone probably thought I was a freak. I had watched Barbie and cuddled with a teddy bear. The urge to curl up in bed and go to that place inside my mind was strong. But I ignored it just like I'd been doing for years.
Instead, I used the toilet and then made my way back into my bedroom. Grabbing my sleepwear, I turned. My eyes widened when I saw Draven hovering in the doorway.
"I just wanted to make sure you're okay," he said softly. "Are you okay?"
I nodded. My eyes darted over to the desk and then back to him. I turned and placed my clothes on the bed. My hands instantly locked together to hide my shaking.
"B-Bella invited me for a s-sleepover."
His eyes widened. Draven's mouth open and closed a few times. "Do you want to go?"
I nodded.
"Well, I...I can't stop you if you want to go. You're old enough to make your own decisions."
I smiled at him. "Thank you, Draven."
He nodded and walked away in a sort of daze. The moment he was out of sight, I squealed and danced around the room. Once I've calmed down, I picked up my phone to text Bella.
I'm going to a sleepover!
***
I felt giddy with nervousness.
Michel was going to pick me up in five minutes. I was going to be alone with him for the whole drive to their home. Bella was still at work and would be for at least another hour.
All I had to take was enough clothes for the weekend and my sketch book—per Bella's instruction. She said she wanted to see all the new sketches I drew.
I grabbed my sketchbook and the pencils. Turning back to the bed, I placed the book and pencils inside the bag and then zipped it closed. Tyrone allowed me to borrow it because I didn't have a bag to pack my clothes in. After glancing around to make sure everything I needed was packed, I slung the bag over my shoulder and walked out of my room.
"How do I do that?"
I paused outside Ellie's door and peaked inside. She sat on her bed with her phone pressed to her ear. A harsh laugh fell from her lips.
"I'm not going to seduce him! You're mad." At that moment she looked up.
I took a step back when she stormed over. She sent me a glare and then slammed her bedroom door shut.
I blinked a few times, and then walked away.
Seduce. It's the word she used. Seduce him. What does she mean by that?
I searched up the word on the internets I made my way downstairs. The results I found made my heartbeat increase slightly. Did Bella seduce Tyrone, or did he seduce her? Did they have sex after I left?
"Are you all set?"
My head snapped up. I quickly locked my phone and pushed it into the back pocket of my jeans. Draven was hovering in the doorway of the living room. His eyes trailed over me.
"It's a bit hot to be wearing jeans and a hoodie," he muttered with a frown.
Thankfully I was saved from saying anything when a horn blared from outside. I gave him a small wave and hurried out of the door.
Michel got out of the car and walked around the front. "Hey, sweet pea. How are you?"
"Good." I smiled at him. "How are you?"
"Good." He took the bag and opened the door for me. "I'm picking up pizza for dinner."
"Pizza?" I got in the car and watched him as he dropped the bag on the backseat and then got in. "I've never had pizza before."
"Never?"
I shook my head.
"You'll love it."
I kept glancing at Michel as he drove. He was dressed casually in jeans and a t-shirt that clung to his muscular chest. I couldn't stop my eyes from dropping to his crotch every few seconds. What did he look like naked?
"Do you ever get jealous?"
"Jealous?" He glanced at me. "What do you mean?"
"Do you ever get jealous of Bella and Tyrone?" I asked softly.
"No," he said softly. "I don't get jealous of them. I like knowing that Bella is taken care of when I'm not there."
"So, if I were to kiss you now Bella wouldn't feel jealous, and you won't feel guilty?"
Michel smiled at me. "You want to kiss me?"
Heat flooded my cheeks. I glanced down at my hands fidgeting on my lap. "I don't know h-how to k-kiss."
"You've never kissed anyone?"
I shook my head.
"No one has stolen your first kiss yet."
"I search it up. How to kiss, and then I tried practicing in the mirror, but I couldn't get it right."
I glanced up when the car stopped. We were parked at the curb in front of a pizza place. Michel loosened his seat belt and then turned slightly in the seat to face me. My eyes locked with his and then dropped to his lips. I shivered when he licked his bottom lip.
My heartbeat increased when he leaned forward. Michel cupped my cheek and traced my bottom lip. My lips parted.
"You want me to take your first kiss?"
I nodded but the uncertainty filled me. An image of Tyrone flashed through my mind. "I want Tyrone to be my first."
"Why?"
"I—" I swallowed and looked up at him. "I feel. . ."
"Attracted?" he asked softly.
I nodded. "I feel attracted to him and Bella and you too, but it's stronger for him."
"Bella too?"
"Is it wrong?" I whispered.
"No, it's not wrong sweet pea." He glanced over my shoulder before looking back at me again. "Some people think it's wrong. They don't like it. They don't like the way we live so we hide it from them. Tyrone and I don't want Bella to get hurt."
"And me?" I licked my lips. "What if I want to be with all of you too?"
His eyes searched mine and then darted past me again. "I'm going to go order our pizza and after that we'll talk." He pulled back and pointed to a button on the dash. "Press this when I'm out."
Michel waited until I pressed the button and then disappeared into the shop. My eyes darted around as I waited. People were everywhere. They went in and out of different shops or stopped to talk to others. I stared at the group of kids standing at a truck that had parked ahead of the car. One of them was leaning against the truck, smoking a joint. Another held a six-pack beer while the one next to him held a plastic bag.
A tap on the window made me jerk in fright. Michel was standing next to the door waiting for me to unlock it. I quickly pressed the button and watched as he climbed in. He held out a juice box.
"Apple okay?"
I nodded. When he moved to open it, I grabbed his hand. "I don't want it now."
"Okay." Michel put it away and then stared out the window at the kids too. "Do you really want to be part of our relationship?" He glanced at me. "I need you to be completely honest with me Sin."
"O-okay," I muttered. "Bella told me what to search and I did. I understand now why she was with Tyrone. When we picked her up at work that first day, they kissed. I was confused because he said she isn't his girlfriend. And then when we went to your home and you and Bella. . ." I glanced away from him. "When I saw them in bed, I thought she was cheating. Bella told me to search Polyamory, and I did. You have a relationship like that right?"
He nodded. "We have a Polyamory relationship, but it's not the only—" he stopped and shook his head. "To the public Bella and I are married. If you and Tyrone would be together in public, but behind closed doors we all will be together."
Michel pulled out his phone. I stared as he typed something in before handing it over to me. The words instantly started rearranging themselves. My frown deepened.
"Daddy Dominant," I finally read out loud.
By the time I was finished, the pizza was ready, and Michel was heading to the hospital to pick up Bella. My head was reeling and there was a deep yearning within me. But we weren't going to pick Bella up. Michel drove past the hospital and turned into their street.
"I'm going to drop you off at the house," he said softly. "I called Ty when I was inside. Since you have a thing for him, I'd thought it'll be better if he explained things to you. Your decisions involve all of us Sin. You need to be really sure before you decide"
"I am sure!"
Michel said nothing. He stopped the car in the driveway and pressed the button to open the gate. After handing me my juice box, he got out and opened my door for me. I stood there awkwardly as he pulled the pizza boxes from the back.
"Michel—"
His reaction was making me feel unsure now. Did I do anything wrong? I turned when I heard the approaching footsteps. Tyrone was making his way towards us. I couldn't stop staring. He wasn't dressed in the usual clothes I was accustomed to seeing him in.
Tyrone was wearing dirty overalls which were tied around his hips. The undershirt wasn't white anymore. Even his hands were dirty. Seeing him like this made me feel hot. My heart was beating in my ears and my mouth suddenly felt dry.
His eyes trailed over me and his frown deepened. "Why are you dressed like that in this weather?"
I lowered my face so that my hair could shield it from his searching gaze.
"I asked you a question, and I expect an answer."
A delicious shiver raced down my spine. I glanced at him from beneath my lashes. His eyes were narrowed on me and his lips pursed. I swallowed.
"Sin." He suddenly reached out.
In my haze to get away from him I stumbled over my own two feet. Michel gripped my arm to steady me, but it was the same arm Lauren grabbed last night. I cried out and pulled away. The bruises were throbbing hard enough to make tears fill my eyes.
Tyrone muttered something under his breath and tugged me against his chest. His lips brushed my forehead.
"Go inside, I'll be right there," he muttered.
I nodded, and then without another glance at either of them, I made my way into the house. It was cool and empty. I hesitated in the doorway for a moment and then headed into the kitchen.
Grabbing a bottle of water from the fridge, I downed half of it. Tyrone walked in with the pizza boxes. He placed them on the island and walked over to the cabinet. Taking out two plates, he placed them next to the boxes and then turned to me.
I sucked in a breath when he moved closer. Without saying a word, Tyrone grabbed the hem of the hoodie. The look on his face let me know that he wasn't in the mood for arguments. I raised my arms and allowed him to pull it over my head. He dropped it on a chair before turning to me.
Gripping my wrist, he raised my arm and moved the sleeve of the shirt away.
"Who did this?"
"I f-fell," I whispered.
"Ah-ah," he muttered. "Try again sweetheart."
I swallowed. "Lauren grabbed me."
"Why?" His fingertips softly traced the bruises. "Why Sin?"
"I spilled water on her and she got mad. She said she didn't mean to."
Tyrone muttered something under his breath. I gasped when he leaned down and pressed his lips to my arm. He kissed every bruise and then led me over to a chair. Gripping my hips, he lifted me onto it and then reached for the pizza's.
"Michel said you asked about our relationship?"
I nodded.
"What do you want to know?"
"Don't you ever get jealous?" It was the first question that popped into my head.
Tyrone smiled as he placed a slice of pizza on my plate. I stared at it skeptically. It was covered with cheese and slices of green stuff. There were cubes of other stuff on it too.
"This is called Avocados," he muttered, pointing to the green slices. "These are ham and those are pineapples. Taste it. If you don't like it, I'll make you something else to eat."
When I didn't reach for it, he picked up the slice and held it to my lips. I opened my mouth and bit down. Flavour exploded in my mouth. My eyes fluttered close as I savoured the taste.
"You like it?"
I nodded.
"Good. Eat up."
After two slices I felt stuffed. I declined another slice he offered and watched as he finished it. Tyrone cleared the plates, and then grabbed my hand. He led me up the stairs and into a bedroom at the end of the hall.
"I'm going to take a quick shower and—"
"Can I watch?"
"—you are going to wait here and think about everything you want to know."
"Why can't I watch?" I asked him, following into the bathroom. "I don't have to watch. I'll close my eyes, but I want to sit with you."
His eyes caught mine briefly. Tyrone walked over to the shower and opened the taps. Turning, he walked over to the toilet and closed the lid. He nodded to it.
"You asked if I get jealous of them."
I took a seat on the toilet and watched him as he kicked off his boots.
"I knew from the beginning what to expect. I knew Bella belonged to Michel. I love them both, but I've never been jealous." He pulled his shirt over his head.
"Michel said we'd be dating in public."
"We'd be a real couple."
Tyrone tested the water with his hand and then glanced down at me. "Close your eyes. No peaking."
I squeezed my eyes closed and listened to the sound of him undressing. When I heard the shower door close, I opened my eyes. I could only see the outline of his muscular body as he stepped under the water.
"Are you a daddy?"
"What?"
He pulled the door open wide enough to poke his head around it. His eyes caught mine.
"A Daddy Dominant," I said softly. "Are you a Daddy Dominant?"
For a long moment he only stared at me. I thought he wasn't going to answer me, but he nodded and then continued his shower. Tyrone washed his hair and then soaped his body, all the while he kept his back to me.
"Do you know what a Daddy Dom is Sin?"
"Yes," I whispered. "Michel made me read about it. I'm a little, I think." I paused. "Father said I was sick because I liked teddy bears and colouring."
"You believed him?"
"Yes," I admitted.
Tyrone shut off the water and slid the door open slightly. "Close your eyes."
I closed my eyes and covered them with a hand.
I was curious.
Tyrone was bent drying his legs. As he straightened to dry his abdomen, I caught sight of his penis. A gasp fell from my lips before I could stop it.
"I told you no peeking," he muttered.
I removed my hand from my face. He wrapped the towel around his hips before I could see more. Disappoint washed through me.
Tyrone turned towards me and hooked his hands under my armpits. He picked me up effortlessly. I instinctively wrapped my legs around his waist and gripped his shoulders. My eyes were glued to his face as he walked into the bedroom. I reached out and placed my hand against his cheek.
"Will you steal my first kiss?" I whispered.
His eyes snapped up to mine. "You've never kissed anyone?"
"N-no," I whispered. "Will you?"
Lowering me to the bed, he crouched in front of me. With his hand on either side of my thighs, he watched me silently. I squirmed slightly.
"You need to understand one thing baby," he said softly. "If you agree to be part of this relationship, you need to accept all three of us. You can't change your mind later and say you only want to be with Michel or Bella. It's all of us or none of us."
"What if you only want Bella?"
"I don't want only Bella. I want you too."
"I want you, and them."
"Both of them?"
I nodded.
"Let's see how things go this weekend. If you're okay with it and you still want to be part of this, then we'll give it a try."
I smiled at him. "Okay."
"Communication is important Sin. If you want to talk to us about something you don't like or want to try, you tell us. Honesty, trust and communication. Understand?"
"Yes sir."
"Good girl." He straightened. "Your bag is downstairs. Go change into some shorts. It's too hot for you to be walking around in jeans. You're face looks like a tomato."
