Chapter 3
Ross started heading towards me. "Hey." He said as soon as he got to me. He leaned against the lockers that no one uses. "Hey." I reply. "Where's your boyfriend?" He asks throwing me off guard. "What? Oh, Max. He was never my boyfriend. And I don't really know." I sigh at the memories of him running like a movie in my brain. "Did you scare him off or did he find out about Mr. Dahlberg." He says slyly. What a sly fox. Well, more like a sly squirrel. (Hah, get cause he's a s- ugh nevermind.) "Niether. Can we stop talking about this. I know this may sound awkward but do you want to be friends again." I didn't have a reason that I could explain to him. Ross can just keep me distracted while Mr. Dahlberg neglects me. "Uh sure. Oh and by the way, one of my internet friends moved here and is going to go to this school." He wasn't full of life. He just kind of stood there like a rock and talked very dull. "Oh, when is he getting here." I smile at him. He still gave me a dull face. "Right now." He said and pointed behind me. I turned around and saw a red head with a black back pack heading towards us. "Hey man," Ross says. They do this weird hand shake thing and turn to me. "This is Michael," Ross says but then Michael cut in,"but I'd like to be called Red." I felt a little awkward here. I didn't know why. "So are you guys, like, dating." Red says. "Uh no, just friends." I answer. "Good." He replies. "What?" I say. "What?" He repeats like he didn't say anything. This is going to be an interesting semester, like the first wasn't enough excitement.
