Nothing was there. "What?" Abby said in confusion. "Okay everyone split up. Look in every crevice. Every door. Every crack." I tell them. They did as I said and wondered around the alley. 10 minutes had passed by and nothing was showing up. "Uh, guys!" Kalyn yelled. We all rushed over to her. All the doors had been locked. Kalyn had looked under the mat of a door and found a key. She grabbed the key, slid it into the lock, and turned. It clicked. The door slowly creaked open leading to a dark, narrow stair case. "I ain't going first." Kalyn said. We all looked at each other. Finally, Maddy said, "I'll go first. She stepped into the doorway and headed down the stairs. We followed closely behind. A light slowly started increasing. I almost wanted to start running down the stairs. I didn't realize how much I missed Mr. Dahlberg. The light became bigger and bigger. Till' we reached the bottom.
