its monday of sebastians second week of teaching he had scolded himself for thinking about a student he should focus on why he came to mckinley.

he was on the choir room it was today they were to sing for him to show him who they were and what they could do.

as the bell rung signalling it was time for glee he braced himself focusing on his paperwork infront of him as the students started to arrive.

"hello where is mr shue"a voice asked sebastian turned to see a dark haired boy he hadnt seen before.

"hello im sebastian mr shuester is currently on broadway so im covering this year are you new here would you like to join" sebastian replied

" no no i just wanted to talk to mr shue thats all i will be going"the boy said the others had started to filter into the choir room.

as the dark haired boy was walking out rachel walked i  saw the boy stuck her nose in the air and walked hurriedly past him. sebastian saw as rachel tuck her seat that the blonde girl smirked at rachel he wondered what that was all about.

"right then its ti e to show me what you can do who would like to go first" sebastian asked

" i will" kurt said

"okay please do"sebastian said kurt sang rose's turn sebastian was shocked kurt had a good range he nailed the song.

" wow that was great kurt thank you and now p,ease twll me why you picked that song" sebastian asked

" because im always overlooked" kurt said

"okay who is next"he said and was pleased rachel raised her hand

"rachel"he said trying not to smile to widely at her.

" i will be singin on my own as its a broadway showstopper which is what i hope to be plus it tells of struggles which i can relate too"rachel said before singing. as soon as she sang the first word sebastian couldnt take his eyes off of her she was breath taking as she stood there singing her heart out he got angry that some of the others werent concentrating.

"thank you ravhel that was unbelievable i doubt that will be topped"he said which made both quinn and santana glare at him but he honestly didnt care.

" next" mercedes got up and sang and im telling you.

" wow very nice you have a lovely voice"he said

"im next"santana said she got up and sang valerie

"you have a good voice but i dont understand how that song tells me about you" sebastian said

" well it shows i can sing i have the best voice in this room" santana said

" bu the assignment was to show me who you are and you failed to do that"sebastian said santana looked like she was gonna hit him.

over the course of the next hour they all proformed and they were all surprisingly good mike had asked if he could do a dance routine instead last week which sebastian agreed to he was amazing.

thurday

its now time for glee again and sebastian has made his mind up that has half of them are seniors he wants new members to join them so todays plan is to come up with ways to get people interested.

"right guys"he said as he walked into the choir room to find them all there. he was about to launch into his planned speech when he saw rachel crying on blaine's shoulder. he got an idea getvthe others working then speak privatly with her.

"right i think we need new members so i want you come up with ideas to interest the other students plus i think a few performances would work wonders but we shall talk about those next time for now get intogroups of two or threes and start brainstorming"sebastian said before walking over to rachel

"rachel come into my office"he said she nodded and got up and followed him he closed the door

" so i cant help but notice your upset whats wrong" he asked he actaully felt nervous bern alone with her was it wrong that as she stood there crying infront of him he wanted to kiss her betfer or that his mind stsrted to fill with an image involving her him and his desk.

"its finn"rachel said

"finn"he asked

"the guy who was in the choir room the other day" rachel said

" is he your boyfriend" he asked

" no he was  but he went back to his ex he used to be in glee club but she banned him because mr shue used to pair him with me"rachel said

"has he upset you and dont worry if he ends up rejoining i wont pair him with you"he said

"its not him as such as its her flaunting their relationship infront of me"rachel said

"are you still in love with him"he asked though he knew he maybe shouldnt have done

"no its just she likes to bring me down its that geting me thats upset me" rachel said and before he could do anything she flung herself into him cuddling up to him. he wasnt sure what to do but he couldnt bring himself to push her away.

later

once back in the choir room rachel seemed to have perked up as she and kurt and blaine were working as a group.

the bell rang

"right then guys thats it for today rachel if i may have a word"he said

they all filed out of the room while rachel hung back to talk to him as kurt was the last one out clearly hoping he would talk infront of him but he didnt so he gsve up and left. sebastian shut the the door behibd kurt he turned to see rachel looking at him and thrn there it was the staring into each others eyes like they did he walked and sat next to her.

" so you seem happier" he saod smiling at her earning one in return that excited him as he watched her lips curl.

"i am"rachel said

"im pleased you deserve to be happy and i didnt tell you this last week but your more than talented enough for broadway"he said watching her bambi like eyes twinkle.

" you really think so" she said gidderly

" oh yes" he said and then they sat their looking at each other not saying anything else but in his mind he was saying she is looking at me the way i look at her does thst mean she likes me. your her teacher stop thinking of her like that its wrong. your only four years older she is eighteen would it be so wrong to just kiss her. as he sat there not talking to her but thinking many things he was shocked and surprised as rachel leaned in and kissed his cheek she then blushed and looked at the floor.

" im sorry i shouldnt have done that" she said shoving her books into her bag

" rachel" he said putting his hand on hers making her stop and look at him he smiled at her she was blushing deply but she held his gaze. he leaned in and kissed her cheek before moving to capture her lips the fireworks he felt as she parted her lips for him were unlike anyhing her had experienced before.

once they parted they both seemed to realise this wasnt the best place to be making out and starting getting up.

"well goodbye"she said smiling at him as she lett he fist pumped the air she liked him. then ofcourse he wondered what they were gonna do now where would they go from here.

all he could think about was that kiss and he knew it wouldnt be their last
