Monday morning.

"Good morning, Ms. Jessica!" Delilah says with a cheeky smile.

"Good morning, Delilah!"

"Don't worry, I won't tell our secret!" She whispers loudly.

"Shh.  Don't let anyone know there's a secret at all, okay?" Jessica gets down to Delilah's level.

"Okay!" She whispers.

Jessica smiles and rubs her back.
"Go take a seat, little one."

"Yes ma'am!"

Jessica then stands up and greets Danny.
"Good morning, Mr. Huston."

"Good morning, Ms. Lange.  Beautiful day, huh?"

"Yes." Jessica smiles. "Very!"

"Yes!  Well.. I'm off to work."

"Have a good day!"

"You too." Danny smiles and waves.

Jessica blushes and giggles cutely.

Delilah's POV.
Recess.

"Skylar, I have a secret and you cannot tell a soul!
Do you hear me?"

"Yeah!" Skylar smiles.

"Not a single soul!  I'm seriously!"

"I'm seriously too!"

"No, I'm not playing, you can't say anything!  AT ALL!"

"I know, Delilah!  Tell me!"

"Okay." She sighs and says, "My daddy and Ms. Jessica love each other."

"What?"

"They give each other grown up kisses on the lips!"

"WHAT?!"

"You didn't hear nothing from me!" Delilah smirks.

"Delilah! WHAT?!!"

"Shh! I told you nothing!" She smirks.

A few days later.

"Ms. Lange, are you heading somewhere?" The principle asks.

"No Mr. Freeman. What's going on?"

"There's been something brought to my attention and I need to speak with you as soon as possible."

"Is everything okay?"

"Just come to my office, please."

"Okay.." Jessica took a deep breath and followed him.

Jessica sat in front of Mr. Freeman, and he sat behind his desk. Jessica fiddled with her hands and nervously bounced her leg.

"Ms. Lange, I received a phone call from Mrs. Davis, Skylar's mother.

"Is everything alright?"

"Well that's why I'm speaking with you. I hope you can clear things up."

"Okay.."

"She said her daughter told her you and Mr. Huston were dating."

"What?!  Haha!  No!  Of course we aren't dating!"

"You know if you were, that would result in immediate termination, correct?"

"Yes sir!  I understand that, but I can assure that we are not dating.  I am his daughter's teacher and that is all."

"Really?"

"Yes!  You believe me, don't you?"

"Well I've had several parents approach me asking of you two were together.  They said you both seem very close."

Jessica was shocked to hear parents were talking behind her back.

"Mr. Huston is very friendly, and I have spoken to him a bit more than the rest of my students' parents, but we were only talking.  I would never start a relationship with a parent of a student."

"I would hope not.  You're a great teacher.  I'd hate to see you go."

Jessica took a deep breath and just looked Mr. Freeman in the eyes.

She knew she and Danny would be having a talk with Delilah very soon.
