After seeing how upset Delilah was, all of the mother's gathered their kids and left, leaving Danny and Delilah alone.

"Baby girl, did something happen?"

"I just want you and I don't ever want you to leave me! Please please don't leave!"

"Delilah, look into my eyes."

Delilah looks her father with red puffy eyes.

"I will never leave you."

"My mommy left me."

"She didn't want to. Your mommy.. she was so excited to meet you." Danny says with tears in his eyes.

"How do you know?"

"I was there!" He chuckles.

"You never talk about mommy."

"I know.. I don't talk about her because it hurts me to talk about her. But that isn't fair to you."

"Did she love me?"

"Baby girl, she loved you more than anything in this world."

"Danny, that's two lines. I'm pregnant! I'm pregnant!"

"What? No way!"

"Look at it!"

"Grace!"

"We're having a baby, Danny!" Grace hugged her husband tightly.

"A beautiful little baby to raise together.
Aw Danny, I can't wait to be this little persons mommy." Grace says with her hands placed on her still flat stomach.

Danny kneels down and place a soft kiss on her.
"Daddy loves you, baby Huston."

8 months pregnant.

"This girl is SO big!"

"She's ready to come out!"

"I don't know if I'm as ready as she is.."

"Why, baby?"

"I'm nervous to give birth, of course!  But.. what I'm really nervous about.. What's really scary is being a mom. Will I be a bad mom? Will she love me?
.. because I already love her more than anything in this entire world! I just want to give her the best life possible."

"Honey, you will. WE will!
You are going to be the most incredible mother ever! I know you will, baby. And as for Delilah? Honey, she loves you so much already!"

"You think so?"

"I know so, baby!"

Danny places his hand on her bump and smiles.
"I love you, and I don't like to see you cry." He says wiping her cheeks.

"Our baby girl is coming so soon, and we get to raise her here in our home. Together! Her and her future siblings." He smiles.

Grace chuckles and rolls her eyes.
"I love you, baby."

"I love you more. And I love you too, Delilah!" Danny kisses her belly.

Grace giggles and kisses his lips.

Danny shut his eyes and took a deep breath in.
"You were her world, Delilah.  She wanted to to be your mommy more than you could ever imagine."

"I've never met her.. but I miss her so much, daddy."

"She's never left you.  She's in here." Danny places the tip of his finger over her heart.

"You will carry her for the rest of your life.
So will I, and so will your children you'll have when you're a mommy."

"Really?"

"Yes, baby!"

A single tear rolls down Danny's face.
Delilah places her palm on her father's warm cheek and looks into his eyes.

"You look so much like her.."

"I do?"

"Exactly like her!"

Delilah smiles softly Just before she wraps her arms around him.

"I love you, daddy."

"I love you more, Delilah Grace."

Monday morning.

"Good morning, Miss Jessie!"

"Good morning, Delilah!"

"This is for you!" Delilah smiles and hands her teacher a small plate of cookies.

"Aw!  Thank you so much, sweet girl!"

"You're welcome!  Me and my daddy made them!"

"That is so sweet!  Thank you both!" Jessica smiles sweetly.

"You're welcome!" Delilah smiled with so much happiness in her eyes.  It made her feel so good when she made others happy.

"Alright, well I have to get to work. Give me kiss, beautiful."

"Bye, daddy! Love you. Be safe at work!"

"I will, Princess."

Jessica sat back and watched with a smile on her face. The love Danny had for his little girl, and the love she had for him was so beautiful.

"Bye, baby girl." He kisses her cheek before she runs off.

Danny then stands and turns to Jessica.
"Ms. Jessica, I just wanted to let you know that Delilah has had a tough couple of days.."

"Oh no!" Jessica pouts.

"Yeah.. She's just asking a lot about her mom..
If you didn't know, her mother passed away and um.. she just...
She has a lot of anxiety and little tantrums that her doctor told me are panic attacks.."

"Aw, bless her heart." Jessica says placing her hand over her heart.

"Yeah.. I just wanted to let you know what was going on."

"Well thank you for letting me know! And thank you for the cookies." She smiles.

"Hah! You're welcome.
Oh and don't worry! I made her wash her hands before she helped me..

"Oh! Okay!" Jessica giggles.

"I know kids are full of germs but.. they're clean!" Danny says awkwardly.

"Good to know! Thanks!" She laughs.

"Heh.. I'll see you later."

"Bye!"

"Oh wow! Look at all of these beautiful drawings!"

"Mine is special because I drew an angel!" Delilah says.

"Daddy says I have my own very special angel called Mommy!"

"That is so so special, Delilah! You're a lucky girl!" Jessica smiles.

"I am! And guess what!"

"What, sweetie?"

"I'm gonna be five on Saturday!" She smiles and holds her hand close to her face.

"I know!"

"You know?! How?!"

"Because Ms. Jessica knows everything!"

"Woooow! You're kinda like an angel too!"

Jessica giggles. "Well thank you!"

Jessica then gets distracted by other kids, but Delilah kept her eyes glued to her teacher.
She smiled at her like she was made of gold.

As the children did their work, Jessica walked around checking on the kids.
When she got to Delilah, she kneeled beside her and placed her hand on her back.

"How are you doing, Delilah."

"Good! Ms. Jessica, you're pretty!"

"Aww! Thank you so much, sweetie!
You're gorgeous!"

"Thank you!" She giggles.

Jessica chuckles and pats her back before standing up.

"Ms. Jessica?"

"Yes?" Jessica turns with a smile.

"Do you want to come to my birthday party?"

Jessica giggles.
"I'd love to come to your birthday party!"

"Good! It's at my house! But I guess you knew that. You know everything!" Delilah shrugs and goes back to work.
