Immediately after leaving the school and getting into her car, Jessica called Danny.

"Hey, baby!  Miss me already?"

"Daniel, we have a problem!"

"What's wrong?"

"The principal pulled me into his office today.
He said that a parent came to him about something her daughter said to her."

"Oh no, what happened?"

"She told her you and I were together."

"Oh my gosh.  No."

"I told him we weren't and that you are just really really sweet!"

"I'm gonna have to give Delilah her first spanking."

"No Danny, don't do that!  I'm coming over right now.  We'll both speak to her.  Calmly."

"Okay.. oh gosh, Jess, I'm so sorry!"

"It's okay.  I mean, she's five, Danny. That's a big secret for a five year old to keep."

"I guess you're right. But she needs to know not to do that. It could cost you your job!"

"I know, and we'll tell her. In a calm and kid friendly way."

"Heh! I'm not going to be mean, of course. But she knows better than that."

"Okay, okay, calm down, daddy!" Jessica giggles.

Once Jessica arrived, Danny called Delilah downstairs.

"What daddy?  Is dinner ready?  Oh hi, Ms. Jessica!" Delilah runs to her.

"Hi, sweetie pie." Jessica smiles and lifts her up.

"Are you eating dinner with us?"

"Well actually, I came to speak with you and your daddy."

"Yes!  Let's sit and talk." Danny says as Jessica puts her down.

"What are we talking about, guys?"

"Something very serious, Delilah." Danny says.

Delilah tenses up and takes a sharp breath in.
"What's wrong?  Are you sick?  Is it Miss Jessie?
Grandma and Grandpa?  Daddy, what's wrong?!"

"Shh, shh, Didi!  Didi, honey, nothing too serious.  We're all fine!" Jessica smiles.
"Danny, don't scare her like that!" She gives him a look.

"Yeah you scared me!" Delilah gives her father a pout.

"Aw her eyes are watering!  Baby girl, don't get upset." Jessica sits her in her lap.

"Why do you need to talk to me?  Was I bad?" Delilah spoke in a low voice.

"No, honey!" Jessica holds her tighter.

"Delilah, did you tell anyone that Ms. Jessica and I are together?"

".. No.."

"Are you sure?"

"Yes sir.." Delilah nods softly.

"Really?  Because today the principal spoke with Ms. Jessica."

"He did?  Are you in trouble?" Delilah looks up to Jessica.

"Well no.  I had to tell them we weren't together.  If they knew the truth, I would lose my job."

"What?!  Oh no!  I told Skylar on accident!  She told me she wouldn't tell!"

"Just like you promised us you wouldn't tell?" Danny asks.

"Oh man.. yeah.."

"Delilah, Ms. Jessica and I need you to keep it a secret.  If not, she won't be your teacher anymore."

"Oh no!  I'm so sorry!  I didn't mean to be mean!  I'm sorry, Ms. Jessica!" Delilah hugs her tightly.

"Oh it's okay!  We all make mistakes, right?"

"But this was a very very bad mistake!  I could lose my most favorite teacher ever!"

"Aw, Didi!  I just love you, sweet girl!" Jessica rubs her back.

"I love you too!  I'm so sorry!"

"It's okay! Just don't tell anyone else, okay?"

"Okay, I promise!  I really really promise!"

Jessica smiles and kisses her cheek.
"Thank you.  Now let's forget about that and go check on daddy's food.  Make sure he's cooking everything alright."

"Okay!  I can do that!" Delilah smiles.

"Okay, let's go!"

Delilah hops down and takes Jessica's hand.
She then looks up to Danny and says, "Daddy.. are you mad at me?"

"No honey, I just want you to listen. If not, it would be—"

"Very very bad! I'm so sorry, daddy. I love you!"

"I love you more, Princess." Danny kisses her cheek.

"Beautiful! Now can I have some food, please?" Jessica smiles. "It's been a long day and I'm pretty famished."

Danny chuckles and kisses Jessica's lips.
"Of course. Let's eat!"

After dinner, it was bath, then bed time for Delilah.
Once she was asleep, Danny came downstairs to be with Jessica.

"Well she's out."

"That was fast!"

"She's really good with bedtime. No fights, one story, a kiss, and nighty night!"

"That's good! She's a good girl." Jessica smiles.

"She is! I'm very lucky to have her." Danny says sitting beside her.

Jessica then moves closer and kisses him softly.
"You wanna?" She whispers. Her breath tickling his face.

"You know the answer, woman."

Jessica throws her head back, laughing.
The two then begin undressing each other.

"You know what's funny, Mr. Huston?"

"What, Ms. Lange?"

"We've never had sex in a bed before."

"We haven't?"

"No! We've done it in the car, in the kitchen, the couch.. the shower!" Jessica smirks.

"Oh wow, that's true. Wanna go upstairs?"

"Actually no.."

"No?"

"Let's go outside." She smiles.

"Outside?" Danny chuckles.
"It's kinda chilly."

"We'll warm each other up." Jessica takes Danny's hand and guides him out to the backyard.

"You are wild!" Danny chuckles.

February 2nd.

Delilah ran into her classroom to greet her favorite teacher, but quickly became shy when she realized she was not there.

"Hi Miss Jess... um.. daddy, who is that lady?"

"I'm Ms. Parker. Have a seat.."

"Where's Ms. Jessica?"

"Ms. Lange." She corrects her. "Is ill and will not be in today. Please take your seat."

Delilah immediately started to panic.
"Daddy, I don't want to stay here without Miss Jessie! She's sick, what if she's dying?!"

"Honey, shh, shh. It's okay, I'll check on her. I'm sure she's fine. Just stay here with Ms. Parker and your friends, and I'll see you after school."

"DADDY NO! I want you! Please don't leave me!" Delilah sobs.

"Honey, it's okay. You're okay."

"No I'm not! Please take me home!" She clings to him.

Danny sighs and takes her out to calm her down.

Finally after a while she calmed down enough to return to the classroom.

"I'll see you in a few hours. I love you, doll."

"I love you, daddy!" Delilah hugs her father tightly.

Danny kisses her cheek and leaves the room.
Once he got to his car, he called Jessica.

"Hey Danny.."

"Hey baby, are you okay? Why didn't you tell me you were sick."

"I'm fine.. I just needed a day off."

"Oh.. do you need me to come over?  You sound upset."

"I'm fine, I just want to be alone today."

"Alright.  Well call me if you need anything."

"I will.."

"I love you."

"I love you too." Jessica says in a shaky voice.

"Jessica, somethings wrong, talk to me."

Jessica sighs with irritation.
"Please just leave me alone, Danny!"

"Alright, I'm sorry.... I'll talk to you later."
