A day later, it was Friday. The couple was chilling in the school's cafeteria, talking a bit and enjoying their time spent together. Jungkook was smiling, and for the first time in a while, he felt securer. Since he reconciled with Tae yesterday, they stayed together all the time. Went to class together as well as home, went out to eat pizza together, played games, and spent a sweet, loving night with lots of cuddles and kisses.
And what made him even more happier was the fact that, because he was with Tae all the time, Mr. Jung had no chance of getting closer to him than he needed to be. Well, somewhere he was still afraid, but having Taehyung around him, the fright lessened.
They kept talking to each other, when a a certain boy happened to pass by their table and smile warmly at Jungkook's boyfriend, staying there.
"Oh, Hello TaeTae!" his chirpy voice said with all of his kindness put together, letting him sound peaceful and happy when encountering Tae. Jungkook looked up, too.
"Hello Jiminie" Taehyung smiled gently back.
"TaeTae?" Jungkook repeated with slight irritation in his voice. Only he was calling Taehyung this way. Since they were little kids. He felt quite offended when hearing someone else using that nickname on his beloved one.
"Yeah. Got a problem with that?" Jimin immediately hissed without hesitation, his eyes full of hatred piercing through the youngest among them, who tried to gulp down his anger building up inside him.
"That's rude, Jimin" Taehyung scolded with a frown, his husky voice sounding more sternly now. The pink-haired boy immediately flinched and widened his eyes back at Taehyung. Right, he thought. I need to be kind to this shitty brat too when Tae is nearby, or else he will dislike me.
"Right. I'm sorry, I just love calling you TaeTae~" Jimin giggled, eyes turning to little crescents, which only increased the level of trigger inside of Jungkook. Why is he suddenly so clingy to Taehyung? He thought, and decided to show him his place. "Uhm, If I'm allowed to say something,"
Jungkook fake smiled, and also gained a forced smile from Jimin. There was visible angered tension between them, which only the two of them seemed to perceive fully. Taehyung was silently sipping onto his coke, eyes switching from Jimin back to Jungkook all the time. "Yeah?" Jimin answered in a challenging tone, confidently.
"I'm so sorry, but I'm the only one who can call Tae like that. He's my TaeTae since we were little children, so do you fucking mind?" he spoke, making sure to emphasize the word my, not hesitating in using a quite sassy and confident tone.
Jungkook only smiled in evil satisfaction even more when he saw how Jimin's right eye twitched at that, most probably out of irritation and because it triggered him so much. But he needed to play along. "Oh, Okay" he simply commented with gritted teeth, pretending he was understanding, while his blood was boiling inside. He wanted to strangle Jungkook right there and right now.
"Good. Now, if you don't mind, I wanna talk to TaeTae, my boyfriend, in private. So back off, bitch. He is mine." Jungkook growled, and Taehyung was taken aback. "Wow wow wow," he said, raising his hands after he put his coke down. "Let's all calm down now. Kookie, no need to be this rude."
Jungkook glances to Taehyung while squinting his eyes in confusion. "What, why? When I sense that someone tries to steal you away from me, I don't let him, obviously." he answered simply, letting out a sassy hmpf and leaning back in his seat.
"Still, Jimin is my friend, Jungkook. And he doesn't want to steal me away from you. No one can do that anyways," Taehyung said, and scooted a little closer with his chair to Jungkook, wrapping an arm around his waist and giving his temple a tender kiss.
"You know that I only belong to you, right? Don't be jealous." he whispered to his ear, making the slightly smaller male blush a little. His heartbeat accelerated, a smirk tempted to edge itself onto his mouth, knowing too well that Jimin was standing there, watching every, little, detail.
"Right, sorry" Jungkook chuckled, cupped Taehyung's face and closed his eyes when he kissed him. The elder of course returned the kiss, and both forgot that there was still someone standing there. Well, at less Taehyung forgot.
A clearing of a throat made them go back to reality, both blinked and looked to the source, which was expectantly the pink-haired male. "Well then, I'll be going." he murmured quietly, smiling way too brightly for the annoyed tone he used to speak.
"Okay, bye Jiminie" Taehyung just smiled, let go of Jungkook and grabbed his coke to take a sip from it. Jungkook was just smirking in victory at Jimin, admiring every little feature that screamed his dissatisfaction towards the couple.
"Bye" he said and only fake smiled sincerely once again at Jungkook before wanting to turn around, just when he remembered something. He needed to hold down a mischievous smirk as he began to softly smile at Tae. "Oh, and Taehyung? That night on Tuesday.."
"It was amazing."
With that, he left the two of them alone at their table in confusion, including Jungkook having his mouth wide open in response and Taehyung his eyes wide open as he gulped, being flabbergasted. "Fuck, what the hell?! Kookie will get the total wrong ide-
"What the fuck was that supposed to mean?!" Jungkook said outraged, staring at his boyfriend and leaning back from him in disbelief. "N-no no no no! That's not what it is, I swear! But.."
"But what? Are you cheating?"
"Babe, of course not!!" It's just... that day, he somehow happened to be at the hospital too. He supported me. That's what he meant. I swear, we didn't do anything, he just stroked my hand and that's the closest he got to me. Hell, I don't even know what he means with night!!"
"Oh.. okay..." Jungkook said, clenching his jaw at the thought of Jimin touching his boyfriend's hand so casually. He clearly didn't know he was overstepping a very dangerous border. "How did he know though? And what was he doing there? I didn't even know..."
"I don't know" Taehyung lied straight to his face out of reflex. His mind didn't want to let Jungkook think they had something by telling him Jimin he came there on purpose, to support him. Knowing how easily jealous Jungkook can get, It'd only raise his suspicion, Taehyung thought.
"Then his sentence wasn't making any sense."
"I know. I don't understand either."
"Im telling you Tae, this boy wants to tear us apart" Jungkook concluded, being lost in his thoughts as he stared at the table.
"No way! Jimin's a good soul, he'd never do that!" Taehyung said with his peaceful mind. Jungkook scoffed as he stood up. "How can you know that? Are you two suddenly friends or what?"
"Maybe." Taehyung protected Jimin stubbornly and stood up too, so he can be on the same eye level as his boyfriend. Jimin has helped him actually a lot, so he may consider him as a friend. A good one maybe even too.
Jungkook snorted. "Alright then. Why don't you spend some more time with your 'friend' instead of me then? Maybe today will also be 'amazing'." His mouth worked faster than his mind and he felt his heart crack a bit at his own bitter words. With that, he formed his lips into a thin line as if to prevent his tears, turned around and started walking away.
"Jungkook please, don't be jealous! He's just a friend, no more!" Taehyung insisted as he ran after him, the discussion wasn't finished yet. Also, he didn't want to argue with his boyfriend just because of Jimin.
"Why are you protecting him? Don't you see the way he's looking at me? He obviously hates me and wants to steal you away from me! You may have kissed me in front of him and told me all of these stuff before, but do you really think he will give up that easily? You're just blind, Tae!" Jungkook shouted, turning back to face Taehyung who instantly froze. The younger's cheeks were tinted in red, puffy eyes were watery and he looked so sad and angry at the same time.
"I don't want him to part us, Tae, I really don't, that's all..." he whispered with his trembling lips, sobs suddenly escaping them as he lowered his head and shut his eyes tightly, silently crying. Tae's heart immediately turned soft at that sight, his foot moved on their own when in the next seconds, he rushed to his boyfriend and pulled him into a hug so tightly as if he'd never let go.
"I promise you don't have to be afraid, Kookie" his deep voice whispered into the younger's ear whose body was twitching because of his hiccups and sobs. Feeling secure, Jungkook cuddled more into Taehyung's embrace as he wrapped his arms around him, nodding against his firm chest.
As softly as he could, Taehyung was caressing the back of his fluffy hair, loving the vanilla scent emitting from it that filled his nostrils. He closed his eyes to imprint the scent into his memory while smiling.
"It's okay now, Kook.." Taehyung whispered again, being happy that this rather explosive argument turned into a soft reconciliation. Jungkook nodded as he sobbed, hugging as tightly as he could to Tae. Oh how he wished he could tell him what was happening to him right now.
But he didn't had the strength, he was too weak to do so.
However, the pink-haired boy who was stalking them from afar was gritting his teeth in anger at his unsuccessful act, his frustrated act of trying to fool Jungkook that him and Taehyung had something, was a miserable failure. Those two had a way better relationship than he thought.
"I can't fucking wait anymore" he muttered, uncontrollable fury was taking over his mind as he was speed-walking to the male's restroom, & swiftly fished out his phone from his pocket as he arrived there and went inside a cabin, not hesitating to dial a certain number, activating the loud-speaker.
He held a cold, jealous glare at the image of the couple in his head which was, probably still hugging and whispering sweet words to each other, along with happy giggles from the despised one he found his ears hurt from these sounds.
Finally, his call got accepted.
"Are you crazy? You can't call me during lunch break, I told you if there's the need then do it after scho—"
"Yah. I can't wait anymore." The low, annoyed voice interrupted his teacher as he repeated himself. Confused silence occurred on the other side of the speaker.
"W...What?"
"Do it tomorrow." He said lowly, not perceiving the sound of the restroom's door opening, too focused on the phone call.
"Huh? Tomorrow already? Are you actually... crazy?"
"Yes I am" Jimin responded with sternly with a fake smile plastered on his face.
"And I want you do it tomorrow."
"I barely started off with touching him! Can't just go and rape him like th–"
"I DON'T FUCKING CARE! JUST DO IT ALREADY!! MAKE HIM FUCKING SUFFER!!" Jimin shouted at the top of his burning lungs, also at the phone in his hand, breathing heavily as his eyes turned dark from anger. His words were echoing within the tiled walls of the restroom.
There was a moment of silence before the speaker's unsettled voice resounded again, after a deep sigh.
"Alright," the voice sighed, nevertheless chuckling at the end. "I'll do my best. That's actually a good idea. This young, fine ass will finally be mine. See ya." And after that, Jimin heard Mr. Jung hang up on the call. He stared at his phone for a few seconds, a devilish smirk slowly edging onto his lips.
Cheering in naive victory silently, he opened the cabin and stepped out, walking to the little sink area.
There, a black-haired boy was standing right there, blocking his way, staring at his own phone in his hand nonchalantly.
Jimin stopped his tracks, gasping as an act of holding his breath instantly, dilated pupils watching how the boy raised his head, and tapped the red button on his display, the recording stopping.
Not being able to say anything, the shock overcoming his body, he just stood there, mind progressing that someone just recorded his phone call.
The boy sighed.
"You are the biggest idiot ever for putting Mr. Jung on an actual loudspeaker. Because now..." he spoke, taking a closer step to Jimin, own eyes not being sheathed with warmth and love towards Jimin anymore, but slowly filling with hatred and indescribable incomprehension.
"You're fucked."
