Chapter 11.

Go! Go! Go!

"Substitute needed for 3rd period."

Mr.Lewis was sat in Kirstie's office again talking and doing some 'really subtle' flirting.

"Do you have to go?" She whined.

He got out of the uncomfortable chair but was almost instantly pushed back down.

"Honey." He scolded.

Goddamn back flips in her stomach again because of that nickname.

"Don't go."

Kirstie put her hands on his shoulders and leaned down to his ear.

"I have to." He said apologetically.

Jeremy stood up again but this time Kirstie didn't push him back down. She pouted, crossed her arms, and sat on her desk.

"You better come straight back here when you're done."

Teacher voice on point.

"Yes, ma'am."

He winked at her and left.

Kirstie suddenly snapped out of her weird trance thing she went into around him. It felt like she was dreaming or in some fairytale with her Prince Charming.

Knock. Knock. Knock.

"Hey, Tori."

The beautiful women shut the door behind her and took a seat in Jeremy's chair.

"How's Mr.Cutie?"

Being Miss.Maldonado's secretary wasn't the most exciting job but having that piece of eye candy was making it feel like a day at DisneyWorld.

"He's so hot. I can't deal with it."

Kirstie always vented to Tori, especially when it involved boys.

"You seem to be getting pretty close."

Tori moved her perfect eyebrows suggestively.

They both felt like they were back in their school days, gossiping and whispering about boys.

"Wish we were closer though."

Kirstie over dramatically leant her elbow on the desk and rested her chin on her hand.

"Why don't you ask him out?"

"Oh my gosh, nooooo. He's way outta my league anyway."

The look Kirstie got said: 'bitch, really?'

"What? You're like literally both 1st league. To be honest you could have your own league."

"You're nice." Kirstie said with a blush.

"Just ask him."

Kirstie wanted to be with him but she didn't want to go through the effort and awkwardness of asking him out.

"Can't you just do it for me." She joked.

"Romantic." Tori laughed.

"Fine. When should I do it?"

-----

"How's tour?"

Free periods for Mr.Hoying meant checking in with his superstar.

"I'm so tired. I'm running on about three hours sleep total."

Alex sounded worn out. The background noise was full of talking and crashes and bangs of equipment being moved.

"I'm sorry, babe. Where are you?"

Scott got a water bottle from the staffroom refrigerator.

"Somewhere in Colardo, I think."

Alex never paid much attention.

"Gone site seeing yet?" Scott asked.

"No time."

Scott tried to keep up the conversation.

"Oh yeah. The show go well?"

"Yeah."

Was he being boring? Was that why Alex was answering so bluntly?

"Um...Jake misses you." Scott tried.

"Hmm."

Scott sighed.

"I miss you."

"I mis- I've got to go now, manager's shouting at me."

Scott hated his manager.

"See you soon."

"I love you. Sorry for not talking much, I'm literally so tired."

"It's alright. I love you too. Bye."

Alex hung up and turned to his manager.

"Hurry up, Alex. Interview with Radio Disney in two minutes."

-----

"Come on, Kev."

Alyssa was sat in bed with a billion teddies and pillows around her. She thought if she was still enough she might blend in.

Then she realised how weird her thoughts were.

Oh yeah, she'd taken enough painkillers to tranquillise an elephant.

"No, you're not moving from the bed."

Kevin put yet enough pillow next to her to keep her warm and safe. He thought she looked really cute.

"Why? There's nothing wrong with me."

The hospital visit had been a waste of time, just like Alyssa said it would be.

"That's what the doctor said but I'm not believing it. You're staying right there."

Truth was Kevin needed some time and space to think.

Leaving her with a rerun of Friends on the T.V, Kevin wandered into the lounge.

He was thinking through last night.

His reaction scared him so much.

Kevin's first thoughts were those of doubt and fear when they should have been excitement and, at least, happiness.

He's always wanted kids, always wanted to be a father.

So what was his little outburst yesterday?

He thought of having a little girl in pigtails running around giggling and stumbling, and smiled.

But then he thought of having to help her through school, teach her right and wrong, sanction her, tell her off. How was he supposed to make her be good enough for college or a job?

It was all his responsibility.

He needed to talk to Alyssa about this.

But wasn't it a bit late now?

She was pregnant, they were going to have a baby in under six months time.

He needed to sort this out soon.

(A/N - posting the next chapter in a minute)
