Note- Bold is me and Normal font is interviewee.
Here is My first and fun and a pretty long Interview with everyone's favorite No_Where_To_Turn . I think you will enjoy reading it.
So, lets welcome our Guest of honor
Hello No_Where_To_Turn ! Nice to meet you. Welcome to 'Tea with Tanya'. It is my pleasure to have you join us. Have a cup of tea. *Takes a sip from my cup*
Well, I'm more of a person who prefers coffee, but tea is welcome, thanks ^_^
Okay, Here's your coffee. Enjoy.
Well, any thing's alright, I'm not picky, but that's sweet of you, thanks.
My first Question is- What's your name and from where are you? *takes another sip from my cup*
Well, first names aren't exclusive, so it's OK. They call me Soumya. As from where I am, I'd say West India.
So, your good name is Soumya. Interesting.
How did you find Wattpad? How has your experience been so far?
Well, when it comes to reading, I only read physical books, so Wattpad was never a question. When I became a part of the Potter fandom, even then, fanfictions did not tempt me. That was because I was satisfied with the original books. Then I met an unusual show of ITV, Ghkkpm. It had an unusually beautiful couple within it, SaiRat. But often, they weren't served right. Then came Fanfiction into the picture. It was through them that I saw/read what I wished for. Overall, I had come across Wattpad often, but I was never interested, but it was SaiRat and Ghum makers' copy-pasting policy that properly introduced me to it. My experience so far has been amazing! Most people here are unusually sweet. I've come across a bunch of wonderful writers with beautiful ideas. And the love the readers shower upon my books is unbelievable and overwhelming. Overall, this is a beautiful place.
That's true. Makers are not doing justice to SaiRat. They have potential, yet they are butchered for the sake of copy-pasting. But we are like leech, never going to leave them. Right?
*Laughs* Oh, yes! If I were to be honest, I do not like the show. It's SaiRat's magical chemistry that does not let me let go. Two characters, full of flaws yet so beautiful, and together, they create magic!
Me too. I wanted them to work on a new project together.
So, my next question is coming to you- Which was your first book? What was the response? Did you like it or not?
'Tales of SaiRat' it is! A OS and TS collection. As for the response, as I've said, it was unbelievable and overwhelming. Reading lots and lots of Fanfictions pushed me into writing them myself, and this was the result. My intention was always to share my ideas, but the response, and in my first book, I did not imagine it!
Peeps, Read her book ASAP. It would amazing as her. I will also read shortly. 😁
Would you mind sharing your favorite author and favorite book on Wattpad?
Ooh... that's hard. I only come to Wattpad for SaiRat, so it's one of them only. "The Hero of My Story" by Savi1203 (forgive me if either of the names are incorrect). Also OSs by Vivpri are also hilarious! Your "She Isn't Like This", that's beautiful. Yeah, that's it.
Oh, I also had to choose an author. Its Raavi_Sharma03 and Vivpri . Would choosing you be considered flattery?
Flattery, No!
Then, you, too. I admire a good sense of humour and all those who posses it.
Ahh, that's embarrassing for me that my book came in your favorites. Remember, you were the one who encouraged me more to write that. So, next one- What are your hobbies?
Can interviewees ask questions, if yes: Why's it embarrassing?
My answer: As a kid, I used to draw a lot. I don't anymore, but I'm good enough. Other than that, reading, photography.
Of course I will answer that. Its embarrassing because I came to know that you are a picky reader and my book made way to your Favorites that's an achievement for me.
Ah... I'm truly picky and it is an achievement. I hope it doesn't sound like boasting but I normally only read famous author's books, so matching my preferred reading style is quite hard. Besides, I abandon a book that does not posses the power to keep me hooked.
What has been your best and worst experience on Wattpad?
Uh... Best would've to be the overwhelming response on my first book. Worst? I haven't had one yet, or that I can remember. If I recall one, I'd tell you.
What is your most embarrassing moment and your best moment in real life?
I'm a clumsy person, I have many, recalling them is the hard part. So, I remember this one incident years ago, when I was a child with crazy ideas. Will you sit back to hear the whole thing?
Of course we are free here. Go ahead.
All right, then. Prepare to read a long tale, given that I elaborate a lot. I'll try to make it short.
We'll read it. Kyun Readers?
Once upon a time, when I was a kid with crazy ideas, I was playing with a friend, I guess. A guy, in our neighborhood was irritating us and eh... then, I dunno, he went home. For don't ask what reason, I and my friend decided to take revenge by littering his bicycle with natural rubbish; leaves, flowers, grass, this and that. As we were at it, we saw his father coming towards us. We panicked and hid away. He must've not seen us, for he hovered about the bicycle for a bit and then he, too, went home. We heaved a sigh of relief, but only for the day. It was not a crime we did but for no precise reason, we pretended it never happened. Soon enough, our deed was discovered and we were confronted. I can't give the whole picture, but God, it was embarrassing! And ever since, I pledged to never, ever litter bicycles with rubbish. As for the best moment, reading Harry Potter for the first time. Witnessing a rainbow for the first time. Weird stuffs like this, lol. I am weird.
That would have been fun. Childhood is always best.
Haha, yes! Childhood for president- Wait, childhood can't become a president, never you mind.
If you get a chance to meet a celebrity who would be he/she apart from your favourite?
Our Prime Minister, perhaps? Elon Musk? Ghum writers (To shove some sense, no offence, but are they celebrities?)
How do you come up with such outstanding plots of your story?
Alright, that's flattering! Outstanding, it is! Well, SaiRat are my inspiration. I'm at my most creative at night, so the credit goes to it, too. Nature, too, inspires me. Other than that, I'm a weird person with unusual ideas, so blame my brain. Basically, as I lay quietly in the night, several ideas strike out of nowhere. Some are also good, and I pen 'em down. Also, the enthusiasm readers show makes me want to write more.
Who is your favorite actor and actress?
I don't watch movies often, so this will be hard. Actress, we can say Emma Watson. Actor, I don't have one, but I have found one with exceptional acting skill through Ghum, Neil Bhatt. However I might try to ignore, I'll have to admit, he's amazing at his work. I can't say favourite, but he's impressive.
Neil Bhatt. Hayee! 😍 Let me not enter my dreamland and ask the next question to you: How many books you have in drafts now?
I had one few days ago. Now, none. It hasn't been long since I began writing, you see.
What app you can not live without?
Google Chrome. I maintain a disciplined 6 feet distance from social media (the truth behind my mental peace), except for some small cheatings, so yeah.
Google is nowadays important in everyone's life.
Haha, true!
Which is your favorite festival?
Festival... hmm. The Hindu festival of Rakshabandhan. Free gifts, you see. And brothers behave for a day, at least. Ganesh Chaturthi, too, for some special, secret reasons.
Rakshabandhan is my favorite too.
*pinches* Same pinch!
Ouch, it hurts. Same pinch.
What place you want to visit?
So glad you asked it! Can it be a fictional place?
If yes, then Hogwarts: School of Witchcraft and Wizardry or Diagon Alley in London.
What is the one thing that you want to change about Wattpad?
I'm sorry if this is a disappointing answer but so far, nothing.
It's all jolly good.
If you get a chance to live a life of one of your written characters, then who would it be?
I've only yet written about Sai, Viru, and Chavans. None of them, honesty! But there's this story I wrote in Word long ago, I would choose the protagonist, Shivangi from there. But if I HAVE to choose one of those I've written and published, I would choose the Breeze from 'Toss_A SaiRat OS' from 'Tales of SaiRat' or Statch the statue from 'Voices_A SaiRat OS' also from 'Tales of SaiRat'
Ohh, Inanimate Characters.
Yeah! I would never, EVER live the lives of any of the Chavans. I would never want someone like them in my life, let alone living their lives.
*finishes my tea and keep my cup on table* Now turn for rapid fire round- Choose one.
Tea or coffee?
Alright, Coffee.
Friend or love?
Oh, shit. Learning from Viru, Love.
Movie or snack?
I don't watch movies. Snack.
Sleeping or shopping?
Sleeping.
Summer or winter?
Summer. I know I'm unusual.
Day or Night?
Night.
Happy ending or sad ending?
Sad endings are realistic, but there's enough sadness in the world already. Happy ending.
Fruit or vegetable?
Fruits.
Chocolate or ice cream?
Ice cream.
I scream Ice cream! Yay! That's how I go crazy!
Indian food or International (if international then specify which one)?
Indian.
Truth or Dare?
Truth.
So you chose truth then asked by one of your fan/friend- Do you sing while bathing?
I used to (the periodic table song, Hogwarts anthem, Harry Potter in 99 seconds, weird songs). Not anymore.
Its time for questions asked by your friend and fans.
Okie.
What do you do in your spare time?
I write, read, write to my journal/friend. Imagine; different scenarios, unreal things. Annoy people. Listen to music. Talk to myself.
Do you want to share any top secrets with us?
Give your ear, let me whisper in it.
yes👂
*whispers* I've made this exceptional discovery no one on Earth knows...
Water is wet, folks!
Only kidding, I don't have secrets.
Hahaha, That was funny. Isn't it?
Your best friends from Wattpad?
Oh, I hate that word. Never mind, as I've said, I'm fairly new here, so I don't know... it's not called exactly "best friend", but I could say ShwethaRajkumar is one of my good friends from here.
How is your bond with our beloved interviewer? (Well, Thanks for asking this Question.)
Umm... we're on good terms! This accidental writer has a remarkable sense of humour, and I always admire a good sense of humour, so... yeah.
Aww, Thank You so much.
Don't mention it^^
This is fun Question, I wish it came to my mind. Imagine, if any day you meet with Aishwarya Sharma. What will the first question or thing you will do with her?
I will snatch away her phone. I don't use Social Media so it's all good for me, but there are people out there who suffer. Or maybe teach her the difference between reel and real. Or perhaps make her understand Pakhi better, but I bet I will fail. Only kidding, no offence to anyone. I don't speak about real people, this is a sensitive world.
Who is your first crush?
Ohh... I remember it. It was a classmate back in 4th grade (I was never an innocent child). The name began from 'M', I guess.
Do you ever proposed anyone? Or anyone proposed to you?
Never to both. Yeah, yeah, I have a boring life. But once, someone kinda... you know, not exactly, but 'kinda' did.
Which one is better, single or mingle?
As for now, single.
If you get time Machine. What will you like to see?
I am not a fan of time travel, but if I could... I mean, who'd leave the chance? I would go to the future to see if Robots have dominated our world or not. Just kidding, I'd like to see life after Covid.
Or life before Covid ain't a bad idea, too.
Now, robots/machines are ruling the world. These days, machines are extremely important, be it cars, phones, laptops, or any other equipment. So if they dominated, I wouldn't surprise me.
Last fan Question- What is your educational qualification? I mean such a wonderful language and writing style!
Is it all right if I don't wish to answer it? As for my "wonderful language and writing style", it's because I read lots of books. I read them and learn from them. Always try to enhance my vocabulary, and never stop learning.
You can guess which question was asked by whom. *wink*
All friend/fan questions but the last were by Raavi_Sharma03 I dunno about the last.
On a scale of 1 to 10, how would you rate this interview?
It's good to know someone thinks so, though. Thank you for this wonderful interview, I've discovered stuff about myself, too. I had fun, those were some cool questions.
Being a Potterhead, I would immediately say 9&3/4! But, 10. I loved this.
Last but not the least few words to the readers.
Umm.. to the readers: thank you all so much for the support! Never, in my best of dreams, had I imagined such response. Writing 'Tales of SaiRat' has been a beautiful experience all because of you. A book is nothing, no matter how good it is, without its readers, so, again, thanks very much. Keep reading as you are now! And have beautiful days ahead.
Thank You for giving your precious time. I wasted your so much time. Sorry for that.
That's not wasting, that's investing. It did take a lot of time, but I had fun and that overshadows everything else. See ya'.
Hope we will meet again in an new interview with new questions. Till then, Bye.
So Readers, Hope you all liked it. It was a bit lengthy I guess.
Hey No_Where_To_Turn Tag your more friends so that they can learn more about you.
Acha chalti hoon Duaon mein yaad rakhna. Chai piyo aur enjoy karo.
