So here we welcome our dearest friend to share her experience on Wattpad!

Me: Hey Mohini! Welcome!

Mohini: Hi Amisha! Thanks for having me here. ☺️

Me: Without further ado let's start with the interview.

Me: Tell us something about yourself.

Mohini: My real name is Mohini and I just completed my intermediate. I am from Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh.

Me: It's always a pleasure to meet a fellow UP'ite.

So how did you get to know about Wattpad?

Mohini: I was a big Sandhir fan so once I came across a Sandhir fan fiction on a Facebook fan page and then there was no looking back.

Me: Sandhirians give me a cheer!

How do you get the motivation to write?

Mohini: I don't really know how to put it in words but I can say that writing is my escape. I am not very good with emotions, so I show them all through my words. Also we don't get to meet such amazing people in real life so while writing I get a space to create the people as I want them and be with them in that space.

Me: Trust me I can surely relate to this. Writing makes me feel so relaxed.

So you are a student. How do you manage your busy schedule along with writing?

Mohini: Earlier I used to study all day and then write a chapter at night but as I started nearing my board exams, that became difficult so I took a break which I haven't been able to end till now. *sheepish smile*

Me: It's ok. You deserve a break. I mean it was boards after all. I am sure the readers are supportive.

Who is your favorite writer on and off Wattpad?

Mohini: Off wattpad it's Paulo Coelho. On wattpad, I don't think I can pick one from them because I like so many books and so many writers.

Me: I would love to discuss a few of Paulo Coelho's works with you.

Tell us something fun and something distinctive about you.

Mohini: Something fun, you can never be bored with me (my friends words, not mine). Something distinctive can be that I am always hungry and sleepy 😂

Me: That's the story of every teenager I guess. Hungry and sleepy forever!!!

Any tip for the new writers.

Mohini: I am not that old myself but I can tell them to just write their story how they want it and not be influenced by others.

Me: Let's move on to your books now.

All your stories are a fanfiction. The challenge in a fanfiction is that we have to keep the characters unique but somehow the same as the serial. How did you manage it?

Mohini: I don't try to keep it same with the original show because that would hamper my originality. All my characters take from the show are their names.

Me: That is the reason why your story doesn't clashes with the show or seems forced somehow.

Do you just write fanfiction or you enjoy writing other genres as well?

Mohini: Actually I am planning on writing other genres as well soon.

Me: I am really looking forward to your new works.

Sanyukta is not like the typical Desi Indian girl. She is a total opposite. Was it difficult to imagine her like that?

Mohini: Not really, I actually just imagined the girl I would like to be and how I would manage certain situations and I had her.

Me: I became her fan just because of her rebellious nature. I mean that is what the millennials want. They don't like being stuck on old rituals.

Reading Sanyukta was like reading a part of me. Really loved it.

Mohini: Thanks. That's really encouraging. 😊

Me: Moving on, Among Sanyukta, Vidushi, Kritika and Tanya

a) who is more like you?

b) who would you love to befriend?

c) whose quality are you not fond of?

Mohini: Honestly, I was waiting for this question.

a)  In reference to my book, I think I am more like Sanyukta, fun loving, sweet but a complete kitchen disaster😂

b) Definitely Vidushi, a friend like her would be a blessing. She would feed me and give me her honest suggestions.

c)  I think I am least fond of kritika, because though she is a great girl but she is also clingy and a bit dependent on her partner.

Me: Nice choices!

If you had to choose between

a. Randhir and Parth

b. Joy and Arjun,

whom would you have chosen?

Mohini: It's a tough choice but I think I'll pick Randhir over Parth, because he is so loving and caring.

Among Arjun and Joy, I will go for Arjun because I think he's one of a kind and a really interesting character.

Me: Arjun's Bonsai friend says thank you and by the way Sanyukta wants to know your location. 😂

Mohini: Save me!!! 😂

Me: You wrote PALS PANDORA in collaboration. How did you guys manage it?

Mohini: Me and 1999Su used to write alternate chapters and would send it to each other for final edits and then we would publish it through her account.

Me: That management must have been tough.

Who gave more creative ideas in the collaboration book?

Mohini: The original idea of the book was hers and she approached me with it but after that it was both of ours ideas and hard work.

Me: It sure turned out as a great read.

How do you guys solve your creative differences?

Mohini: We never had any differences but even if we had to contradict the other we would just tell the other person nicely, but that was rare.

Me: That's sweet!

What is the worst writer's block you have had?

Mohini: I am having it now, my exams have been over for a month now but I still haven't written anything concrete.

Me: It's ok. You will get over it. Show her your support guys!

How do you take criticism?

Mohini: I have been very lucky in that case till now. Generally people are liking my work but an occasional comment here and there doesn't bother me.

Me: Can we expect a face reveal?

Mohini: Maybe... Maybe not! I have not thought about it yet!

Me: Why did you remove Peh Gaya Khalara? I mean I had started reading it and one day it just vanished!

Mohini: I was having second thoughts about the future of the story. Though don't worry, I still have the drafts and I will definitely complete it one day.

Me: Yes, please do. I am really interested in knowing the reaction of Randhir's mother in law when she gets the truth.

And this is the last question which I am sure the Wattpad nation wants to know.

When are you updating PALS PANDORA 2 and starting Mr. and Mrs. Dabangg 2?

Mohini: Hahaha. Pals Pandora 2 will be updated only when 1999Su wants it to so ask her about it as she has been very busy the whole last year.

As for MAMD 2 I promise it is coming, I can't give you a specific date but trust me am working on it. As they say good things take time.
