She is the writer who's works were among the first ones I read on Wattpad and since then I have kept coming back to read more. Her Royal series is my favorite and so is The Choice. Her books are a perfect mixture of drama, love, emotions and family politics and that is what we love about her.

After reading about the lengths Ranvijay can go for Ananya... I have fantasized a Ranvijay for myself and I am not the only one to do this my best friend Aparna is my partner in crime.

So let's welcome my favorite author....

Me: Hi di!

Abha: Hello!

Me: I have told you a lot of times that your books... Especially the Royal series are my favorite. The fact that The Royals is then final book for this series makes me a bit nostalgic.

Abha: I know, I got a message about this from a lot of readers but I didn't want to drag it unnecessarily. I wanted to keep it the way you guys like it.

Me: Well, never mind I can read it a thousand times and not get bored. Now let's move on to the questions...

Me: Tell us something about yourself?

Abha: I am from Uttar Pradesh. Was born in Mumbai and brought up in Kanpur. I am now working in Bangalore. I don't love attention and prefer being on the back rather than on the stage.

Me: Wow I am an UP' ite too!!! *virtual high five* So we can say that you have been around most of the India. How did you get to know about Wattpad?

Abha: I am a big fan of Manmarziyan. I used to write it's fan fiction on Telly updates. One of the readers there told me about Wattpad.

Me: May God bless that reader! The next question is what motivates you to write?

Abha: It's a hobby. It runs in my blood. I am not expressive in voice but on paper I pour my heart out.

Me: The question that I am going to ask now has been going in my mind from a long time... All your female characters are strong willed, opinionated and they know how to stand up for themselves. So are they somehow inspired by you?

Abha: That comes from my childhood experiences... I have been around very strong females in my family. My dad says that even if timid initially, a woman in later stages becomes the head of a family and that's true.

Me: That was some really good teaching your dad gave you. Sadly many people around the world don't know this.
So what's your spirit animal?

Abha: My spirit animal is panther.

Me: Panther...! That's interesting.
As you are a writer you must be facing a lot of criticism. How do you take criticism?

Abha: Usually for me, opinions don't matter. I have been criticized a lot of times for being silent or introvert. I don't usually take things to heart but if anybody tried to insult me or poke me for no reason, my reply comes harsh.

Me: From where do you get the inspiration for your novels?

Abha: Some novels are inspired by real life events and some are figments of my imagination.

Me: You are a working woman so how do you manage your professional and personal life with writing?

Abha: It's very simple, you take out time for what you like.

Me: True that. What are your hobbies except writing?

Abha: When I am not writing and I am free I paint, sing and enjoy cooking... I am a big foodie.

Me: Being a writer means having writer's block. What is the worst writer's block you have had? Did you complete the book or left it?

Abha: Worst writer's block was when my father was sick. The day I got the news I had posted Destiny's games (DPO 2). After that I couldn't write for a two months.

Me: Yes, I guess I had read about it in The Stolen Princess. As the topic came to family, what does your family thinks of about your writing?

Abha: They are very supportive about it. They have always been. I did what I wanted to do.

Me: Let's talk about your book choices. Do you prefer e books or hard copy?

Abha: E books because I can carry a lot of them at same time.

Me: What was the first book that made you cry?

Abha: It is by my favorite author, Nicholas Cage. A Walk to Remember.

Me: You are a favorite author of many... Who's your favorite on or off Wattpad?

Abha: Sundari Venkatraman, Nicolas Cage on Amazon. I don't get time to read books on Wattpad, I stick to my Kindle.

Me: Any genre you hated but now like?

Abha: Nothing I hated first but now like.

Me: Any tip for our new writers?

Abha: Pour your heart out. Live the character you are writing.

Me: This is something I want to know... How do you create the characters of your novel?

Abha: Nothing special, the day something comes to my mind I pen it down and weave a story.

Me: Alright... Let's move to some fun questions. Tell us something fun and something distinctive about you.

Abha: Something fun is that I have a dark sense of humor and something distinctive is... One can't figure out my emotions until I speak them.

Me: This and the next question are my favorite questions...! *evil grin*

i) which one is more similar to you?

ii) which one is ideal to you?

iii) which one would you befriend?

iv) which one's quality are you not fond of?

Abha: Let me think...

i) None of them as I never write about myself.

ii) Kajal is ideal as she is real.

iii) Ananya as she is funny, bold and speaks her mind.

iv) There are two answers to it... First is Raksha... She acts as a brat at times and second is Sona as she never sees the other side.

Me: Nice choices but the real test is this question... *wider evil grin*
Which one will you choose from the following,
i) Ranvijay and Raghuveer.
ii) Vikram and Devansh.
iii) Tarun and Aditya.

Abha: Tough one indeed.

i) Ranvijay as he has many shades. He is good, he is bad and he is open about it.

ii) Vikram as wrong and right is based on his heart and not on some given set of rules. If he feels something his hurting his own then he has no limits.

iii) Aditya - He is good but he never accepted Raksha's wrong side. He is tough yet soft.
