It had been four days since Nova escaped that horrible place and she's been in that motel that Aaron dropped her off in this entire time. Too scared to leave her motel room really.

She's had nothing but nightmares and horrible PTSD and she's even been noticing the on-set symptoms of schizophrenia. Nova knew she couldn't do this alone so she decided she's going to admit herself in the quaint Bennington Sanitarium.

And that's where Nova Bates stood, on the front steps of the Bennington Sanitarium, taking her little bit of belongings and pushing open the front doors.

When she gets in she walks towards the reception desk, the blonde reception lady smiling politely at her.

"How may I help you ma'am?"

"Uh, well, uh, I think- uh I want to admit myself here. I have some money. I just- I don't know what's wrong with me and I'm all alone and I think I'm a schizophrenic." Nova rambles on.

"Oh, okay, well my name is Amy, I'll get you some papers that you can fill out and then the nurses here will give you an evaluation and we can find out what disorders you have so we can properly treat you." The kind woman says to her.

"Thank you Amy, my name is Nova." The girl responds, taking the clip board that the lady hands to her as she starts to fill out the admittance papers.

After she's filled the papers completely out two nurses lead Nova into the room where they start doing all the tests they need to do to see what is wrong with her, and to have Nova talk to a therapist.

They diagnosed her with schizophrenia, PTSD, anxiety disorder, and multiple personality disorder, noticing at least three to four personalities that differentiated from Nova's core personality.

After they got Nova's tests finished with they assigned her to a room, which she would be sharing with a woman named Diana who also had schizophrenia.

Nova thanked them before walking into the room, looking around the room as she does. She notices a woman in a chair looking out the window in the room, so she approaches her slowly.

"Excuse me, are you Diana?" Nova asks her, standing next to her.

"Yes I am. You're Nova Bates aren't you?" Diana says observing the fiery red head in front of her.

"I am. I'm new here I hope you don't mind us sharing a room with you." Nova mutters quietly.

"Us?" Diana questions.

"Yeah, I kind of have multiple personality disorder, so us is me, Hattie, Cheshire, Iracebeth and Mirana." Nova answers Diana.

"Well, it's nice to meet all of you." Diana answers, "Not officially all of you yet but I'm sure I will."

"Do you like tea? And tea parties?" Her personality completely changed, eyes flickering until they turn green.

At first Diana's confused before she puts two and two together, "I love tea and tea parties. Who am I speaking with now?"

"I'm The Mad Hatter, or Hattie. I think we'll get along great Diana, as long as you don't mind sporadic tea parties." Hattie says with a chuckle, tipping his imaginary hat as he currently didn't have his actual hat on.

"It's nice meeting you Hattie, I don't mind sporadic tea parties at all." Diana says with a small smile on her face.

"Tea time, tea time!" Hattie cheers happily, "Shut it Hatter! You're driving me bonkers."

Diana watches Nova Bates closely, seeing just how quickly she flips through her multiple personalities.

"Oh Queenie! You're no fun. Say hello to our new friend Diana." Hattie says with a chuckle, "Fine. Hello Diana. It's a nice to meet you. I'm The Red Queen Iracebeth, or Queenie as dimwit calls me. Though sometimes Alice also calls me Queenie, but I prefer Iracebeth."

"It's nice to meet you Iracebeth, may I ask who Alice is? Nova didn't mention who she is." The older woman asks.

"Alice is Nova's nickname from us, as in Alice In Wonderland. Since the four of us are from Wonderland. It's the girl's delusion. Wonderland, us, we were created to distract her from that place, to distract her from herself and from the truth of what was happening. I'm Cheshire by the way." Cheshire explains, pacing around the room a bit before stopping to look out the window.

"That makes sense, but what place was she distracting herself from Cheshire?" Diana questions Chess.

"I'm sure she'll tell you when she's ready." Cheshire says before Mirana cuts in, "Chess! Don't go saying things that might upset our dear Alice! She has been through enough recently. Hello Diana, it's a pleasure to meet you, I'm The White Queen, or Mirana."

"It's a pleasure to meet you too Mirana, I won't push Nova until she's ready but let her know that if she ever wants to talk I have open ears and I'm always willing to listen." Diana replies.

"Thank you Diana, I appreciate it. You're the first friend I've had in a long time. Which bed is mine going to be?" Nova questions Diana, a quiet yawn leaving her lips.

"That one right over there is yours Nova, and you're very welcome dear. You should rest up it seems like you had a long night." Diana says kindly, sending a smile to Nova.

"Thank you Diana. I think I'll do that." Nova says before she takes off her shoes and climbs into the bed, closing her eyes the minute her head hits the pillow hoping maybe she'll get some sleep after the medication the doctors gave her.

The next morning Nova wakes up in the asylum with Diana nowhere in sight, so she decides to get up and walk around a little bit.

Nova walks into a big recreation room that leads into a little courtyard when she notices Diana across the courtyard so she makes her way over to her.

"Hello Nova, did you sleep alright?" Diana asks her, a letter placed in her hands.

"Yeah I did, thank you for asking. Did someone send you a letter?" Nova asks, her curiosity getting the better of her as she sits down crisscross in the grass near Diana.

"Yeah I did, my son Spencer writes me every day about his adventures with his FBI team." Diana answers.

"That sounds interesting, I wanted to be in the FBI's BAU before everything happened and I went a little mad after the events so there's probably no chance now." Nova says with a sad laugh.

"Spencer works for the FBI's BAU in Quantico. He's so smart, he and his team are good at what they do and he's happy doing it. I'm proud of him, he comes and visits when he gets the chance to or when he has a case down here." Diana says, looking down at her letter with a smile on her face.

"Do you mind if I read it? I'd love to know of his adventures as an agent, does he talk about his cases?" Nova questions with a smile on her face as well.

"Of course, we can read them together every day if you want. It gives me something to look foreword to." Diana says before handing the letter to Nova.

The younger girl takes the letter with a bright smile on her face, reading over Spencer's fancy handwriting scribbled across the paper before her and Diana spent the rest of the day together in the courtyard.
