You couldn't keep calm standing in front of your favorite coffee shop in town, knowing that Taylor's mom is probably waiting for you two inside. You and Taylor are together for almost two months now and it's your first time meeting her mom. You've already met Austin and her dad, Scott, you loved them a lot but knowing how important Andrea is for Taylor, you wanted to make a good first impression.

'I'm so nervous. What if she won't like me? What if she thinks that I'm not good enough for you? What if she won't like the way I talk because of my accent. Being british is really not helping me with this one. Or what if she doesn't like my hair color, or...'

'(Y/N), honey!' Taylor gently stroked your face. 'There's no way she won't like you. Or your accent, or your hair color and I don't know what else you listed' she laughed. You took a deep breath and slowly nodded your head. 'You're the most important girl in my life, I love you so much and I couldn't be happier. That's all that matters to my mom. Plus, she liked Calvin, you'll be fine' she smiled playfully and sticked out her tongue at you.

'Thank you Taylor, you really know how to be the sweetest and ruin it in like two seconds' you said sarcastically and rolled your eyes.

'I love you!' she kissed your nose and laced your fingers together. 'Can we go inside now?'

'Yeah, let's go! I don't want her to hate me because we're late' Taylor let out a loud groan and held the door for you.

As soon as you stepped inside the coffee shop you saw a blond woman who looked just as beautiful as your girlfriend. You knew exactly that she was Taylor's mom, Andrea. The woman smiled when you reached the table she was sitting at. She stood up and pulled Taylor into a hug. 'I thought you were gonna stay outside. What took you so long?' she laughed along with Taylor.

'Miss 'She won't like my british accent' was too afraid and needed some extra time to prepare for you' Taylor joked and looked at you. You felt your cheeks burning but somehow you managed to look at Andrea.

'Oh honey, no need to be nervous, I'm so glad to finally meet you, Taylor told us so much about you.' you smiled and wanted to shake her hand but for your surprise, she pulled you into a hug.

'It's so nice to meet you too ma'am'

'Just call me Andrea, sweetheart.' you just smiled at how nice she was and took a seat next to Tay. You ordered three coffees and you started a conversation with Andrea about how you miss your friends and family back in England. To tell the truth, you had no idea why  you were so nervous about this meeting. She was so sweet and you had a marvelous time. She also asked a lot about you, even tho Taylor probably told her everything before, she told you stories about your girlfriend and Austin when they were younger and you got the chance to see a video about Taylor playing on her very first guitar.

'We should get going. We promised (Y/N)'s best friend to stop by' Taylor said after 2 hours of talking.

'Jesus, I totally forgot about that!' you jumped up and reached for your bag to get your wallet out but Andrea stopped you. 'It was my treat, honey. See you on Friday! Take care and Taylor, don't mess it up! She's a great girl. Oh, and drive safe! she winked at her daughter and went to pay the bill.

You looked at Taylor, you could tell she was still in shock. 'I genuinely love your mom!' you laughed.

'Looks like she adores you as well. I have never seen my mom being so excited and curious about someone I've dated before.'

'She really is fantastic. Everything makes sense now. With a mom like her, it's not so surprising that you're perfect. I hope too, that you won't mess this up' you teased her.

Taylor giggled and pulled you in a passionate kiss. 'I love you, (Y/N).'

'And I love you too, Taylor.'
