The sound of machine's ticking and clanking together as each of them dug through the ground to form a new entrance that opened up. Each of them pointed to opposite directions, forming a circle as they pointed to the highest and richest town's and cities. The lights turned on as Gumball watched on a flat screen TV as each machine pointed to a place with the most populated area. Darwin smiled, looking down at his brother.

"I'm sorry. But, it had to come to this. Why, you ask? Because everyone should feel the same pain I felt. Most people out their have the same pain, and it's up to me to stop it." Darwin slid back into his chair. Zoe and Nicole sat on each end, staring down at Gumball.

"Press the button." Darwin roared. Gumball froze, hearing the sound of each machine starting up. And now, it was his chance to stop Darwin once he was freed from cutting the rope from his hands. The sound of small strings collapsed and freed Gumball, pushing himself up and towards Darwin.

Shocked, Darwin swung his hand at Gumball but was soon struck in the face. His body flew back, hitting his chair and tipping over a glass of wine and food. Gumball slammed the doors shut, looking at his hands as he realized he had more than just a fist. He looked up at his brother, who slowly stood with full fists down to his side and his cape over his left shoulder. He swung his hand, pushing the cape down and stardd at Gumball.

"You shouldn't have done that." Darwin hissed, running full speed towards Gumball.

"Shut everything down -" Gumball yelled as Darwins fists came face first in his left cheek. Gumballs body laid down on the floor with no movement as Darwin crawled over him, laughing.

"You know I can't do that. It has no stop button but only a launch." Gumball groaned. His brother was stronger than he was. Darwin grabbed hold of his neck, lifting his brother up like a trophy.

"And now, I can finally get rid of you once and for all." His smile grew until something hard hit him across his head. He dropped gumball, who gasped for air.

"Hurry." A female's voice called out, "your mother has the keys to the car. We can escape this place and find some place to hide." Gumball grabbed her hand and was slowly lifted up on his feet. The sound of the machine's boomed, making each of them fall to the ground.

"Oh no!" Zoe yelled, letting go of Gumballs hand. "The machine, it's....were to late." Darwin stood, laughing.

"Finally. I can be at peace knowing you guys are done for." He snapped his finger. "And now, you guys are part of my second plan. It's time to show what I can really do to the world." Gumball watched, looking at him as he left the room. The three of them were already handcuffed as they stared back at what once was their friend, but now their true enemy.

Darwin was no longer himself.
