Gumball felt a sharp pain running down his back. Nothing but the cold floor made it even worse or a movement he made felt like knives digging into him. He just stared, looking at what seemed to be other cells around him, but empty. He pushed away the pain and sat up, taking another look around. The walls oozed with mold and plant life with a few blood stains on the wall and floor. Whatever went down in this cell seemed to have ended badly.

Feet started shuffling across the floor. And Gumball made a quick move to lie down a d pretend he was asleep. The two guards stood looking into the cell.

"Ha! Look at this kid, helpless." He laughed while the other stared at the kid.

"Ha, yeah." He faked his laugh. The guard turned, still laughing as he walked away while the other waited for him to leave.

Gumball stood still as he knew someone was watching him. Just as he was about to move, a familiar voice lifted his mood. "Gumball, baby." The sound of his own mother made tears run down his face. "Baby, look at me." The voice spoke again. This time, he moved to spot her dressed up as a night guard.

"Mom!" Gumball cried out.

"Shhh. Be quiet. Darwin doesn't know I'm here." She glidded her fingers down his face as he smiled, knowing he was safe. But still trapped. "I'll find a way to get you out. Just stay calm and don't speak to anyone." Gumball watched as she turned and quickly made her way down and out of sight.

He waited patently for his mother. But soon that moment he first saw her turned into hours. His hope was fading, and his mind was slowly breaking. Just when he thought escape was useless. The sound of keys jingles and his hopes lifted. He turned, looking at his mother just to find a regular guard.

"Come here, kid!" He hissed.

Being dragged down the hall and passed a room full of weapons gave Gumball chills. His body was thrown across the floor and right in front of Darwin, who sat staring down at him. Gumball looked up at his brother slowly clapping his hands.

"Glad you joined my little reunion!" He gladly spoke.

"What little reunion?" Gumball asked, sitting up just to get pushed back down to the floor.

"Oh, while you were in that cell of yours, I made two old people's personalities into new ones. Come on out, you two." Gumball watched in horror to find Zoe and his mother staring down at him with a smile. No wonder why his mother hadn't returned. She was completely gone and changed by Darwins doings. Zoe sat down on the side of the chair.

"Well, what do you think?" Darwin smiled.

"What the hell is wrong with you?" Darwin laughed, "you changed them into something that shouldn't have been done. This is your fault." Darwin stopped laughing and took a step forward.

"This is my fault? You're the one who hurt me, who changed me. You're not my brother." He slapped Gumballs left cheek. "And you'll never be my brother."

"Should we start up the machine?" One of the guards asked.

"Do it." Darwin said, sitting down as he stared at Gumball with a blank look. "You'll watch your world burn, and you will become one of us."

"Darwin, please. This isn't you. I know you a lot more than these people who pretend to be your friends, your family. Everyone here has hatred towards someone you had hurt them in the past. But they never forgave those who didn't mean what they said." Gumball stood up, slowly making his way over to him, brother.

"I messed up big time. And I noticed a lot of stupid mistakes I had made in the past. But please forgive me for my sins and come back to me. I want my brother back, my baby brother." Gumball reached out his hand as an offer. Darwin hesitated for a moment before flinching back.

"No...no I will not. It's time I get my revenge." He stared at his oldest brother with rage in his eyes
