We entered the room, looking around as Darwin pressed buttons. He seemed so happy and more excited than ever. His family was different, he has a new life he always wanted. And Zoe seemed to cling to him. I, on the other hand, was different. Not the man who I once was. Darwin started up a new world as I watched from behind him, looking down and out in the world that was now being ruled over by my own family member.

Once in a while, he would put up on the table and zap us like crazy. It was odd, but my memories kept on fading away. And each time it did, I lost a little of me. But Darwin didn't care.

He never did.
