TAWoG》A new home
The sound of gravel cracking from the car rolling over on the small stones. And with one swift movement, the car door came flying open just a second after the car stopped. Both girls moved quickly to help poor Darwin out of the car and into the house for some food and water.
Zoe wrapped her hands around the weak fish arm, locking her hand around his small wrist as her other arm gripped around his fish body. Slowly and steadily, the three of them made their way to the front door. Stepping on the wooden porch steps one at a time. Zoe could even feel Darwin flinch from the pain he was feeling. Once they entered the house. Zoe's mother opened the door.
"Come, night falls soon, and we need to clean those wounds." Her voice soothed Darwin, giving him a nice and relaxing comfort.
"I have a room for you to stay in. I want you to be squeaky clean before you do anything." She spoke, taking her dirty shoes off.
"So boy, whets your name?" She asked.
"Darwin Watterson." He answered. If he gave any clue where he is from. She might just give her back to his family. He wanted to stay away from Gumball, for good. Darwin sat in the bathtub as he washed all the dirt and seaweed off. As he stepped out of the tub and grabbed a towel that was conveniently placed on the bathroom sink. A knock at the door came.
"Who is it?" Darwin asked.
"Just me, Zoe." She spoke back. "I got your clothes."
Darwin opened the door. There in her hands were his shoes, and a bowtie. He grabbed them and said. "Thank you." Then, close the door. Darwin pulled his shoes on and then put the bowties around his neck. He walked out, looking at Zoe with a smile.
"You look nice." She said, fixing his bowtie. "Mother wants us downstairs for dinner." She said. "Then I have to show you around the place." Darwin was quiet at the table.
He was brought into a stranger's home with people he hardly even knew. He was slowly learning each of their name's and how they even functioned as a family. And now Zoe seemed to treat him like a brother, making Darwin feel like he is loved by a whole new family. After dinner, Zoe quickly grabbed the plates around the table so she could talk to Darwin and get to know him more. Once placed into the sink.
Both kids walked around the building. Zoe showed the young and completely scared Darwin around the house. Each room she showed him around had secret hiding spots. Some of these hiding spots were in some rooms that Darwin liked. And each room had something special in them. But one room stood out the most to him. And that room was going to be his if Zoe's family had decided to adopt him.
The room, a gorgeous cyan blue, covered the walls, leaving to trace a crack or missed spots. Not zigzag lines or little ink platters. A few desks placed against the wall and a bed with a window above and placed to look as if it was centered as the curtains swung down to the sides, leaving a small space to look out. And lastly, a small nightstand next to the bed. Darwin looked as if he had fallen in love with this room and wanted to sleep in it just to see how comfortable it was. But he'll have to change the bed to a small fish bowl his size.
Zoe looked at Darwin as he made small squeaks and a little giggle. His smile reached from side to side up to his cheek bone that seemed to also make Zoe smile with joy. For once, Darwin had felt as if he was already home. A place where he can be free and be loved by a family. But he wasn't at that stage just yet. He didn't want to call them family due to his family who had already owned him and raised him as their's. And now, he had to start from the bottom once again. Getting to know his new family.

Nicole, the mother, frantically walked around the living room as the thoughts rampaged her mind. Her baby boy is somewhere outside in a dangerous world filled with monsters, thieves, child murderers, and kidnappers. Her mother instincts kicked in. Wanting to go outside and find her baby. But the police have it all under control. Slowly getting impatient about Darwin's disappearance, she turned to the eldest child with answers.
"What did you do? And tell me the truth." She spoke. This time, she wanted to know everything Gumball did.
Gumball stood in silence. The thought about his brother and how stupid the fight is to begin with made him feel like a total jerk. Now, he had to pay the consequences. He stepped back as his mother stepped forward, both angry and disappointed on her face.
"I can explain everything that happened." Gumball protested. He backed up, feeling unsafe from his mother's quick movements. He knew what he was getting for his punishment and didn't like it as the thought of it roamed his mind. His mother grabbed
Him by the arm, pulling him towards her as he glared deep into her eyes.
"Tell me everything that happened, and the truth this time." Her grip on him tightened, giving Gumball one of the most uncomfortable glares he has ever seen from his mother. "And don't you dare push your brother back out of this house again, or I will end your relationship with Penng myself." Gumball froze, listening clearly on her last words. But he denied everything she said, taking back his hand while he gave his mother a look of anger.
Without even thinking. His own mind told him to run, get away from his family, and find Penny. His own mind told him to find Darwin and bring him back safely to show his family he was never in any danger. And with that, Gumball ran outside and down the road. His mind was torn apart between reality and fiction. He had no idea where he was going, but all he wanted to do was get away from everything.
He stopped at the junk yard. A peaceful place to stay for a while as night falls. No sound of a mother screaming and yelling, no one to boss him around, and no spit full words to escape anyone's mouth. All he had to do was sit back and relax while he thought over everything he had done. His mind was torn apart between who he was and how he acted. What he could have done better to prevent everything from happening.
The ground before him began to quake, making Gumball think it was an earthquake. He looked up to find Tina standing behind him. He quickly stood before the large Trex, looking up at Tina. "Well, well, well. Look who we have here! The boy who pushed his brother off the edge. You really don't think people know about this. It's all over the place, even Penny knows. " Tina took a step forward, making Gumball step back word's.
"I guess it's in my hands to hurt you like you hurt your brother." She slammed her hands to each other, indicating that she wanted to hurt him. Gumball gulped, backing up slowly as she stepped forward.
