The nurses rushed into the room after they were ordered and were left stunned when they took a glance at the room.
It was a total menace with all the chairs haphazardly laying on the floor and countless boxes of tablets and bottles all spilt over. The expensive devices almost left half working and flickering.
This was going to cost a lot. But, none of them was surprised, because the ravenette was the son of the richest people in their country. Paying for this havoc was nothing for his dad.
But, what left them actually shocked and terrified, was the state in which the 10-yr old boy was in. He was trembling and shaking letting coarse muffles escape out of lips.
Tae's attending nurse signalled the male nurses to take a hold of the ravenette.
Milly was the typical short, chubby nurse that you would find in any of the hospitals, that was good at handling kids.
She immediately walked towards the fallen boy and picked him up wrapping his legs on either side of her waist and softly patting the kid's bum in a rhythm, rocking back and forth, to calm him down.
Tae was softly sobbing in the lady's arm and drifted to sleep when she cradled him for a few minutes.
Milly stood up, still holding the boy and sat over the bed, guiding the staff to control the other kid.
The rest of the staff moved towards the shaking boy and slowly but firmly gripped the boy's arms and legs before laying him on the bed.
Jungkook felt vulnerable when three to four nurses held him. He struggled to get out of their hold, kicking his legs and swaying his hands back and forth.
But, it was of no use.
They carefully put the boy on the bed taking the restraints and tieing him up to the bed.
Dr Han rushed into the room heading towards the boy who was all tied up. He examined the boy's eyes with a torch and checked his pulse and let out a deep sigh.
Dr.han observed the boy's wrist, which was ferociously rubbing against the belts, his chest rising in the air and shaking his head vigorously.
Jungkook's panic attack was worsening as time passed.
The boy's condition was much more complex than what his mother had explained. To prevent the boy from further harm. Dr Han injected the boy with a small dose of paroxetine.
Jungkook took short quick breaths with wide eyes that were fixed at the ceiling. After the medicine was injected, his breathing slowed down, with his eyes fluttering shut.
After the situation was under control, everybody cleared the room leaving only Han and Milly with the two kids in the room.
Milly slowly placed Tae on the bed and tugging him with a warm blanket and walked towards the doctor.
"Dr Han, do you really think it's good, to keep these two together?", she asked with concern taking over her.
Dr Han simply gave her a soft smile and turned to lean on the hand rest of Jungkook's bed.
"Ms. Milly, aren't you curious, why I put them together in a single room?"
Milly simply nodded a 'no' in confusion.
"Most of the people that come here aren't actually crazy. Sometimes, they behave in such a way, when they lack something. Something that can, warm up their heart, that can be a source of comfort for them. And you know the funny part?"
Dr Han glanced at the nurse who looked up to him with curiosity and noting down his words. He simply chuckled and continued.
"In my years of practice, this was the first time, I saw such pleading eyes, that would do anything to take their pain away". A tear rolled down his cheek.
"Taehyung, gripped my shirt when I held him in my arms, to make him feel safe, to make him feel homely, even for a fraction of a second. The same goes with Jungkook, the boy was putting all his might to take out those binders, even if it meant to harm himself. Gazing at me with the hope that I would pull him out of the hell, that his head was drowned into".
He took a small pause before looking up to the nurse.
"Ms Milly, sometimes people just need each other, more than hundreds of needles piercing their skin, to take their pain away." The doctor wiped his eyes and patted on the nurse's shoulder.
"Keep a close look at boys through the CCTVs, and let them sort out small matters and meddle in between only when it's out of control. Okay?", with that Dr Han put his hands in his pocket and walked out of the room with a satisfactory smile.
