Kyle washed his face after he stopped crying and took a couple of deep breaths as a couple of members of the swim team walked in. One laughed at him before shoving him a little.

"Look at the little fag cry, you offer a guy a blowjob and he told you he was just your friend?" Kyle tried to leave but two of them grabbed him by the arms and started pulling him towards the toilet. "You know the rules. You have to be dunked in the toilet to try and stop the gay." Kyle struggled even though he couldn't do anything then suddenly Isaac walked in and punched one of the guys in the face.

"Fuck off, assholes," They let go of Kyle and Isaac touched his shoulder as they ran out. "Are you okay?" Kyle nodded and Isaac frowned. "Did something happened before them dicks?" Kyle nodded and sighed.

"I tried to protect my best friend slash stepsister from the fact her boyfriend was a cheating dick," Isaac looked judging. "I now know it was stupid especially since I got demoted from best friend slash stepbrother to just stepbrother." Isaac looked sad for him.

"As someone who is his foster sister's best friend...Being demoted would make me cry too," Isaac smiled a little awkwardly. "Probably won't happen since we're soulmates," Kyle felt his eyebrow rise before he could stop it and Isaac laughed. "Don't worry, she's like a sister to me and besides, I'm gay so we're best friend soulmates." Kyle smiled at Isaac, strangely feeling better.

"Don't openly say or show that you're gay to anyone who isn't gay or you'll get dunked in the toilet," Kyle awkwardly waved goodbye. "I'll just leave you to whatever you were going to do before you had to save me," Kyle left and saw Juliet just going into her homeroom with puffy eyes. He wasn't the only one hurting then. The rest of the morning was a blur of gay innuendos from most sporty guys and dirty looks from Freddie which honestly hurt more than the homophobia. He went to the cafeteria to get lunch and was thinking about sitting with the dance club people when Juliet waved him over to the usual table. He walked over slowly. "I thought you hated me." Juliet shook her head while Zeke and Adam frowned.

"I hate your decision to not tell me about my boyfriend being a cheating dick," Adam looked ready to murder and Zeke's eyes seemed to lose guilt for a second before the murder filled them. "Besides, we need to talk about our choreography for dance club. The best three are being used in the Christmas show." Zeke had taken Kyle's usual seat beside Juliet so he sat Zeke's usual seat beside Adam.

"What song did you decide on?" Juliet shared a smile with Kyle and Zeke shook his head. "You're doing New Rules, aren't you? Really?" A girl walked past and Zeke glanced at her ass before Juliet hit him in the arm. "What?" Juliet gave him a look.

"You're disgusting. Is there anyone you've never glanced at the ass of?" Zeke opened his mouth to argue then closed it. "Not anyone at this table?" Zeke shrugged, eating a fry from Juliet's plate.

"Everyone at this table is attractive," He waved over someone. "And needs to be even more attractive. Which is why I friended Cat, Rose and Isaac who are sitting with us. Kyle, Adam, please flirt with Rose and Isaac, their Facebook timeline makes them your perfect match." Kyle shrugged, nibbling on his pizza a little.

"Well, they're each other's soulmate so flirting with Rose around may make me feel weird," Everyone choked on their food but Zeke. "Yep. Adam, Zeke, wanna be best friend soulmates?" Zeke shook his head, not looking like himself for a moment as he glanced at Juliet.

"Nah, I'm a walking STD, remember?" Juliet glanced back and Kyle remembered what Juliet had said about sleeping with someone and not having regrets...Oh. He felt his pizza slip through his fingers and it landed on the plate loud enough to get Adam's attention which was then distracted by Rose who sat beside him with a flirty smile. Isaac sat beside Kyle with a smile that gave Kyle butterflies.

"You okay?" Kyle nodded and smiled, picking his pizza up again. "Freddie, just an FYI, I'll be sitting behind you on the date to make sure it goes well." Freddie and Cat rolled their eyes, hesitantly holding hands.

"Fine, but if I smell Zeke's cologne, I'm coming for you," Freddie said, jabbing her finger at him. Zeke frowned and Juliet sniffed, looking as confused as Kyle felt. "I can smell it from across the room in English, it's strong." Kyle snorted, getting a whiff of Zeke's cologne... That he remembered smelling on Juliet a couple of weeks ago.

"Hey Zeke, can I talk to you alone?" Kyle asked and Zeke nodded. They went into the hall and Kyle shoved Zeke into a empty classroom. Zeke barely got a second to stand up when Kyle took a deep breath. "I know about you and Juliet." Zeke wasn't exactly pale but went pale very quickly.

"Look, before you got down the route of most brothers of the girls I'm with," Kyle snorted, leaning against the teacher's desk. "It wasn't just...What I usually do. I care about her but...She's with Roman right now. I know she's breaking up with him but...I'm just her friend and you don't have to be a protective brother...As long as she's happy, I'm happy. With or without me." Zeke looked so sad that Kyle stood up and hugged him.

"Then, she should've stayed with you," He ignored Zeke's surprise. "You wouldn't have cheated on her...And if you had, I would've told her three months ago unlike with Roman." Zeke pulled out of the hug, confused and angry.

"What do you mean you would've told her if I cheated on her 'unlike with Roman' three months ago?" Kyle blinked. "You've known for three months?!" Zeke ran out of the room, looking pissed and Kyle added Zeke to the top of the list of people who hated him.
