Freddie went about her usual routine like every day before school. She went on a run at five am, showered at six am, ate a breakfast of weirdly shaped pancakes, ignored her dad's vaguely homophobic comments and went to pick up her friends. She got in her blue Toyota and reversed out of her driveway before turning on her music. She parked in front of next door and waited for Adam who ran out with a pancake wrapped in bacon. He got in the front and smiled at the music.

"Avril Lavigne is the best way to start the day," They bumped fists before they drove to the next street where Juliet and Kyle lived. "I bet you at least one of them is going to be doing their hair." Adam said before stuffing his bacon wrapped pancake in his mouth.

"I bet it'll be Kyle," Freddie replied with a grin. Almost perfectly timed, Kyle and Juliet appeared with Kyle running a comb through his brown hair. "I was right," Nine In The Afternoon started playing as the other two got into the car. "How's life as stepbrother and stepsister?" They both stuck their tongues out, making Freddie laugh. "You looked a little similar there." They sang Nine In The Afternoon followed by Dancing Through Life and Dog Days Are Over until Freddie parked outside Zeke's house.

"I bet he has a black eye," Juliet said from her nails which were almost completely painted. "Or burst lip." Freddie grinned at her in the rearview mirror.

"Black eye and cut nose," Zeke appeared with a black eye and cut nose. "I always win. I know you all too well," Castle on the Hill started playing as Zeke got in the car. "So, who's soulmate you fuck this time?" Zeke started to paint Juliet's nails while talking.

"That asshole Jonathan. How was I to know that Clarissa had already found her soulmate?" They gave him a look. "We were mostly dressed when we fucked, for all I knew, I was her soulmate." Adam snorted from the front.

"Ah, the best words to have on you from birth 'Hi, my name's Zeke, wanna fuck?'" Zeke stuck his tongue out as he finished Juliet's nails. "Which reminds me," Adam said, automatically making everyone uneasy as Young Volcanoes started playing. "Are we ever going to tell each other what we've got tattooed?" They went to the McDick's drive-thru and Freddie answered for all of them.

"Fuck no," Freddie rolled down the window. "Hey, it's Freddie, the usual for us please," Hank huffed and Freddie drove around to the collection point. "Hey, Juliet, tell them about that article you read online." Juliet snorted loudly while taking out her phone.

"Apparently, your soulmate can be your best friend and some soulmates take time to become soulmates so there's a chance you've already met your soulmate," Freddie paid Hank and took their coffee and McNuggets. "Imagine someone you've known your entire life and haven't even glanced that way at was your soulmate and not in the apparent best friend way." Freddie parked in the McDick's parking lot and wiggled her eyebrows at Adam.

"Wanna be my soulmate? In a friend way since we both like girls," Adam shook his head and Freddie shrugged, handing everyone their coffees and share boxes which they weren't sharing. "Hey, Juliet, think we're soulmates?" Juliet shook her head and Freddie shook her head, taking a sip of coffee. "I am offended that no one wants to be my soulmate." Zeke leaned forward, swallowing a chicken nugget.

"I'll be your soulmate," Freddie snorted and Zeke pretended to be hurt. "Will I ever find my soulmate?" Kyle wiggled his eyebrows at Zeke.

"I would offer but you're a walking STD," Zeke laughed with everyone else. "So, who's the latest soulmates?" Juliet started swiping through her Facebook and stopped with a raised eyebrow.

"A real-life teen movie couple," Juliet showed a picture of the most popular girl in school kissing the guy who wore cosplays into school. "Sabrina and Tyler are soulmates...How do you think their ideas of roleplay will mix?" Freddie grinned wickedly at them.

"Strip D&D? They use the die from D&D and depending on which roll, an item of clothing is removed and if they hit twenty...You know," Everyone but Zeke looked confused. "D&D girl, number five on the list of weird and reigning number one on the attractive list. Now, to school." Zeke winked at Juliet which Freddie noticed as she reversed.

"D&D girl went both ways," Juliet rolled her eyes and Freddie saw her smile at her reflection. "Apparently, there are new kids. Two hot girls and a suspected gay guy. Your new boyfriend Kyle?" Kyle rolled his eyes.

"Are you and Freddie going to spilt the girls between you?" Freddie gave him a look as Girls/Girls/Boys started to play. "We should talk about how many more times Zeke's going to get punched. My bets on fifty." Zeke grinned at Kyle.

"My personal bet is on a hundred more." Teenagers started playing and they all sang together until they reached school. They got out and walked through the entrance for Freddie to hear her full name.

"Fredericka Moore, Adam Lynch and Kyle Martin, come here please," Ms Tate called and the three of them walked over to see the new kids. "This is Catherine Hopkins, Rose Crawford and Isaac Gibson. Will you three mind showing them around?" Before they could answer, Ms Tate turned heel and strutted down the hall. One of the girls who was very pretty with dark skin snorted, pushing her glasses up her nose.

"That was such the warmest welcome I've ever received." Freddie snorted as well, her shoulder feeling suddenly sore as what the girl said seemed familiar.

"Don't worry, you feel it until the day you leave this place," The girl grinned at Freddie as Freddie's shoulder started to burn...Where her tattoo was. The girl seemed to be in as much pain. "Adam, check my shoulder." Adam did as the girl got the other girl to check her shoulder.

"There's nothing there...What should be here, Freddie?" Freddie looked at the girl who smiled back at her with her hand out.

"Hi, my name's Cat...I'm your soulmate." Kyle and the guy were holding each other up as Adam and the other girl had just covered their mouths. Freddie shook Cat's hand.

"Hi, Cat, I'm Freddie...Would you want to go on a date with me tonight?" Cat nodded and walked forward and kissed Freddie's cheek.

"So...Let's start the tour," Adam said looking very happy. "Let's start with the top ten kissing locations." They all laughed and Freddie found herself staring at Cat unable to stop grinning.
