The doctor left after checking on Arnav's leg. He was better by that time after having his painkillers, but the doctor asked him to come to hospital tomorrow to get the X-ray done, just to confirm that there are no damage done and his leg is still healing well. 

Khushi sat beside Arnav, holding his hand and caressing it gently.

"Hey don't be upset like this.. I don't like it" Arnav caressed her cheek with his other hand, "Even doctor said that I'm better.. Don't you believe in her?"

"She even said that she wants to get your leg X-ray done. What does that mean? I'm scared.. if something happens to you" Khushi sobbed.

"Nothing will happen to me.. X-ray is just a formality I guess.. Nani wasn't that heavy.. I swear!" he tried to calm her down.

"But you did feel pain.. You didn't even shout or cry.. What kind of person are you? You like to hide your pain from others" Khushi cupped his face and rested her forehead against his.

Arnav smiled slightly.

"But don't hide your pain from me Arnav.. I want you to share everything with me.. be it good or bad.. I'm here for you" she whispered.

"I know.." Arnav said huskily.

"Annav uncle can we come in?" Aayu knocked the door of Arnav's room.

Arnav and Khushi composed themselves. Arnav looked at her door side, "Yeah.. come in Champ!"

Aayu opened the door and walked in the room with Anjali, Akash, NK and Payal. 

Khushi was about to stand but Anjali stopped her, "No, it's okay.. You don't need to stand up"

"Are you feeling better Bhai?" NK asked.

Arnav nodded his head, "I'm fine.. You guys don't need to be worried.."

They all nodded and stood in silence for few seconds, before glancing at each other and burst out laughing at the incident that happened recently.

"It was so funny.. I swear I never saw Nani ji like this" Anjali giggled.

"And the way she jumped like a kid" Akash laughed.

"That's nothing.. when she asked Nana to kiss her.. my jaws hit the ground.." Payal patted her husband's shoulder with wide eyes and smile on her face.

"Tomorrow be ready to save Nana from her wrath.." Arnav chuckled.

Everyone nodded their head acknowledging that Nana is in trouble tomorrow. Nani wouldn't spare him so easily.

As they kept chatting about Nani and Nana, Anjali, Aayu and NK sat on the bed with Arshi. 

While Payal and Akash took their seat on the couch.

"By the way.. How did you both fell in love with each other?" Anjali asked curiously to Arnav and Khushi.

"We're still getting to know about each other" Khushi replied blushing.

"Oh!" Anjali nodded understanding.

"I had fired her once.. then I went to her house to apologize and ask her to come back to work.. that day she wore a simple white salwar kameez and left her hair open.. looking like an Angel.. she was coming to me.. and  that special strange feel kick in my heart.. I already knew from that day she's mine!" Arnav said huskily staring at Khushi intensely.

Khushi gazed at him overwhelmed and astonished. Was he indirectly confessing his love to her? She felt butterflies in her stomach just at the thought of it's possibility.

Anjali, Akash, Payal and NK cleared their throats with teasing smiles. 

"My Annav uncle and Kushie are the best couple, right?" Aayu asked admiring how his uncle and Khushi looked great together.

"Right!" Akash and Payal smiled.

"You should hold her hand tightly and never let go of such beautiful woman in your life Arnav.. You don't get woman like Khushi so easily!" Anjali said.

"Already doing it!" Arnav lifted his hand that held Khushi's one firmly showing to Anjali. Khushi smiled shyly.

"What made you like Arnav ji, Khushi?" Payal asked curiously.

"Woh.. I.." Khushi's cheeks reddened. She was too shy to reply.

Arnav stare at her smiling, he pinched her cheek, "Tomato!" then he glanced at Payal, "She's my shy girl.. try to talk with her privately.. she will reply then to you"

Everyone giggled at a shy Khushi. Arnav pulled her closer and wrapped his arm around her waist. Khushi quickly snuggled to him and hide her face on the crook of his neck.

Aayu smiled watching them. His eyes moistened on its own as he remembered of his parents. He didn't even realize when tears started rolling down his cheek and everyone around him panicked.

"Aayu what happened? Why are you crying?" Arnav was the first one who noticed it.

Khushi looked at Aayu's side. Her heart broke seeing him crying.

Akash and Payal stood up and approached the bed, staring worriedly for the little baby who stared crying suddenly.

Khushi stood up and went to Aayu's side, she lifted him in her arms. Aayu hugged her tightly wrapping his arms around her neck.

"What happened to my Baby Boo?" she asked softly, running her fingers through his hair.

"Mumma aur Papa ki yaad aa rahi hai (I'm missing Mumma and Papa)" Aayu said shutting his eyes tightly.

Arnav, Anjali and NK's eyes moistened. They could feel Aayu's pain as they have gone through it in the most tragic way. It wasn't easy for them to struggle in life without their parents around.

"Aayu come to uncle" Arnav called him.

Khushi left Aayu on the bed, sadly to see her Aayu crying for missing his parents. If there was a way to make him stop feeling this pain of being away from his parents, she would have done it long ago. But unfortunately, even she is dealing with this pain for years in her life.

Aayu went to Arnav and hugged him tightly sobbing. Arnav caressed his back gently, "Don't cry.. I'm here with you always.."

"Promise? Promise me you and Kushie will always stay together and with me" Aayu said hipcupping in between.

"Promise.. I promise Aayu.." Arnav said firmly and hugged his boy tightly, ruffling Aayu's hair while staring at Khushi. Khushi blinked her eyes as if assuring him that she will also never leave their side.

Anjali and NK approached Arnav and Aayu who were hugging each other tightly. Both siblings (Anjali and NK) kissed Aayu's head, and caressed his shoulder.

Khushi, Akash and Payal watched the three siblings reunion and pampering their nephew, Aayu overwhelmed.

A knock distubed the emotional moment between the siblings and Aayu. Khushi opened the door, wiping away her tears and composing herself, her expression changed when she saw Shyam smirking at her.

"Is my wife here?" Shyam asked to Khushi.

Khushi nodded her head with serious look.

Shyam walked in the room only to see Anjali, NK and Arnav trying to make Aayu smile while making funny faces and joking with him.

"Hayee.. what a lovely moment.." he smiled brightly.

Anjali looked at his side and got the sarcasm in his tone.

"I'm really sorry to disturb you Rani Sahiba.. I was trying really hard to sleep without you but I can't.. I miss you so much" Shyam pouted indirectly calling her to their room. 

Anjali was about to leave with him, but Aayu held her hand tightly, while resting his head on Arnav's chest.

"Don't go Anjali bua" Aayu whispered, "I still want to play games with you all"

Everyone chuckled lightly except Shyam.  Anjali nodded smiling.

"It's very late now Aayu.. Rani Sahiba come.." Shyam faked a smile and walked to the door but stopped at the door frame when he realized Anjali wasn't following him.

He looked back at her glaring, but she gestured through her eyes that she would stay back with her family.

Shyam left from there angrily.

Anjali and Shyam's room..

Shyam sat on the bed frustrated, "Such a dumb woman.. really an emotional fool she is.. I can't believe in past I took opportunity of her innocent and emotional side to make her fall in love and get married with me.. and today the same side of hers is going against me.."

"Rani Sahiba why.. just why am I not able to control you anymore?" he laid on the bed and shut his eyes.

Sometime later..

Payash, NK and Anjali left Arnav's room after playing with video games with him for a while. Arnav's team which consisted in Khushi and Aayu won against Anjali's team who had Akash, Payal and NK to play.

Khushi also was ready to leave, she glanced at Arnav: I will sleep with Aayu..

Aayu side hugged Arnav, with a lopsided smile: Great.. I'm sleeping here.. come Kushie.. join us!

Khushi widened her eyes gasping while Arnav smirked at her, resting his arm around Aayu's waist.

"You instigated my baby to say this!" Khushi said with accusing eyes to Arnav.

Arnav shrugged, "You should have known by now that your baby is one naughty and mischievous boy!"

"Intelligent and good boy too!" Khushi added and laid on her side of the bed after switching off the lights.

Aayu happily laid in between both his uncle and Khushi.

Arnav and Khushi rested their hands on Aayu's chest and closed their eyes to sleep.

Next day.. (8:25 am)

Khushi, Arnav and NK returned from the hospital after a check up on Arnav's leg. Much to Khushi's relief, nothing serious happened to Arnav's leg after the incident and he was recovering well. The doctor strictly adviced him not to put pressure or weight on his leg which would compromise his treatment now. 

When they reached the living room, a furious Nani threw her sandal to Nana, who escaped at the right time by hiding behind the couch.

Nani walked to him taking off another sandal, "I won't spare you today you monster.. How dare you make me drink alcohol?.. I never touched alcohol in my life.. and you made me drink it.. I hate you .. I hate you so much"

Nana escaped from the couch and rushed to Arnav, standing behind his wheelchair.

She was ready to throw the sandal on her hand to his side but Khushi ran to her side and snatched the sandal from her hand, "No, ma'am!"

Khushi was scared that all this might lead to Arnav getting hurt unnecessarily again, and she wouldn't let that happen again at any cost.

"Yes Khushi.. Explain to her that I surely replaced water with alcohol in that bottle.. but she drink it willingly.. I didn't force or asked her to drink water from that bottle" Nana said encouraging Khushi to speak on his side.

"You shut up shameless drunkard.." Nani yelled angrily at him, "Look at yourself first.. you're an old man.. a great grand father now.. but you look like a five years old kid who still play video games, enjoy pulling other people's leg, keep blabbering slang words in english.. and so irresponsible.. We have our great grandson living with us here.. What kind of upbringing are you giving to him?"

"It wasn't me who asked for a kiss yesterday" Nana retorted frowning. It was okay complaining about him until she mentioned Aayu and called him irresponsible.

Nani gasped with wide eyes. Of course, she could remember asking him to kiss her not properly. But she did remember what she did yesterday.

"What happened now? In front of Aayu, you asked me to kiss you! Shameless Witch!" he glared at her.

"It was because of you.. I'm not like this.. You replaced.. I thought it was water.." Nani cried and sat on the couch with a thud, crying.

"I'm fed up of this man.. I can't live here anymore.. otherwise I'll end up doing sins like I did yesterday" she covered her face with her palms defeatedly.

"I want to go back home" Nani cried like a baby.

"Nani I apologize to you on Nana's behalf.. this won't happen again.." Arnav said softly, then glared at Nana, "I'll make sure of it!"

Nana pouted and crossed his arms, looking away.

"I'm so ashamed of myself.. I even fell on your lap" Nani cried even more, shaking her head vigorously, "Because of this stupid old man.. he made me watch.. Koi mil gaya movie and that music was running in my mind whole day.. and I even danced like a crazy woman.."

"It's okay.. It happens Nani" Akash tried to console her.

"It doesn't happen with me.. I'm not a drunkard.." Nani shouted.

Akash took a step back, widening his eyes as he didn't expect this attack by his Nani.

"Nani ji please calm down" Anjali sat beside her and caressed her back. 

"Hello hi bye bye Sasuma don't cry.. Be happy that You still can jump even in this age" Mami said with a wide smile.

"My legs are hurting and you'll massage it whole day" Nani glared at Mami.

Mami's face fell, she murmured to herself, "Sasur ji does the mistake, but the punishment had to fall on me!"

Nani glanced at Arnav sat on his wheelchair and started crying again, "I'm sorry.. You went to hospital because of me again.."

"It's okay.." Arnav shook his head gesturing her not to apologize to him. 

"I need to apologize to Shyam bitwa also.. I pushed him yesterday.. He almost fell down the stairs" Nani said worried for Shyam. 

Arnav and Nana rolled their eyes.

"Shyam ji already left to office but I'm sure he's not upset with you Nani.. Please stop worrying about this and forget it.." Anjali said, wiping the tears away from Nani's cheek.

"Haan you don't need to be embarrassed and ashamed at all ma'am.. It was actually fun to see another side of yours.. Funny, naughty and romantic unlike the strict lady you're.." Khushi giggled.

Nani glared at her. Khushi stopped smiling abruptly as soon as she realized that Nani didn't find it funny.

"It was actually funny to see you Nani" Anjali smiled, "I didn't know you're romantic too!"

The ladies couldn't help but giggle at Nani. Akash, NK, Nana and Arnav only knew they would have to bear another crying session from Nani. 

Nani kept crying and screaming at Nana angrily. Meanwhile Arnav called and whispered to HP to bring lemon water for Nani.

HP hurriedly went to the kitchen and came back with a glass of lemon water.

Arnav took the glass from his hand and handled it to Nana, "Give it to Nani"

"Me?" Nana asked in disbelief.

"Of course" Arnav said with obviously-look.

Nana whined but took the glass from Arnav's hand and went to Nani. He sat on the center table, facing her and handed to glass of lemon water to her, "Yeh lo (Take this).. You'll feel better"

Nani looked away, crossing her arms.

Nana brought the glass near her lips and gestured her to open her mouth, Nani glanced at him while drinking the lemon water from his hand.

"Look at this baby.. She wants to be pampered" Nana said sarcastically once Nani finished drinking.

Nani slapped his shoulder, glaring at him. 

Arnav shook his head sighing. He wonders what new drama is awaiting for him with Raizada Family.

Arnav's room..

While Arnav decided to stay at his study to work for while and talk with Nana.

Khushi went to his room and found Aayu still sleeping peacefully, hugging his pillow.

She went to the bed and sat there, patting Aayu's back gently.

Aayu opened his eyes and smiled lazily at her, "Good morning Kushie!"

"Good morning my Baby Boo!" Khushi smiled.

Aayu sat on the bed and went directly to her lap, keeping his head on her chest, "Kushie.. I slept so well.. yesterday I felt like I'm sleeping between my Mumma and Papa.."

His innocent words touched her heart. She smiled faintly and kissed Aayu's forehead.

"I can't wait for you to live with us Kushie.. then I'll sleep peacefully everday and I won't have any nightmares that my parents are going away from me" Aayu said, holding her duppata in his small fist firmly and snuggling to her chest, getting the warmth he misses the most from his mother.

"You're forbidden from drinking alcohol, understood that Nana?" Arnav said one last time.

Nana nodded his head like an obedient kid.

"You already know it's not good for your health, don't you?" Arnav asked, with scolding tone.

Nana nodded again, "If your lecture is over, can I go now?"

Arnav sighed in disbelief, "Unbelievable!"

Nana grinned sheepishly and went from there escaping from Arnav's wrath.

When he walked out of Arnav's study, Anjali came to him.

"Nana I need to talk with you" Anjali said nervously.

"About?" Nana asked.

"Shyam ji.." Anjali said. Nana smirked.

"Come let's talk with Arnav as well" Nana dragged her to Arnav's study.

"No Nana.. I'm still not comfortable with him" Anjali said stopping Nana from taking her to Arnav's study.

"Then it's time to be comfortable with your brother Anjali" Nana said as he opened the door of Arnav's study and signaled her to walk in his room.

Anjali made a crying face and nodded sideways.

Nana glared at her, "He'll help you.. He's more intelligent than me.. trust me.."

Arnav stare at both confused.
