After Khushi finished preparing the breakfast, Khushi stood there boringly and decided to hear some music. She played a Hindi song from her phone and started singing along.

"Baahon ke darmiyaan do pyaar mil rahe hain
Baahon ke darmiyaan do pyaar mil rahe hain
Jaane kya bole mann dole sunke badan
Dhadkan bani zubaan.." she danced romantically imagining her partner holding her by her waist and she placed her hand on his invisible shoulder and then she twirled herself smiling.

Arnav passed from the kitchen while searching for Dai ma when he was taken by surprise with Khushi's dance. He couldn't clearly see her face, as she was dancing facing her back to him, it was only when she twirled that he saw of a glimpse of her.

He shook his head and silently left the kitchen.

"Bhai you here.." NK caught Arnav on the way after he walked out of the kitchen. NK checked his phone to see the time, "You should be at office at this time, right?"

"Yeah.. I just remembered that I needed some of Advay bhai's files.. So I was searching Dai ma so that she can handle those files to me.." Arnav said.

"Are you okay now?" Arnav asked side hugging NK. He caressed NK's hair like a protective father caring for his own son.

"I'm better now bhai.. I'm really sorry to leave you to handle Aayu alone in this tough situation.." NK said.

"I understand NK.. no need to say sorry for it.." Arnav blinked his eyes once assuring that everything was fine.

"By the way.. we must really be thankful to the new cook.. She has done what we couldn't.. Aayu really likes her.." NK said.

Arnav nodded his head, "Hmm.."

Meanwhile Dai ma came downstairs with a worried look. Her eyes fell on NK and Arnav. She went towards them with a confused look, "Arnav beta.. What happened? Why did you came back? Did you forgot something?"

"Haan.. I need some files of Advay bhai.. You know where it's kept, right? So I wanted you to give it to me.." Arnav said, "But you look worried Dai ma, is everything alright?"

"Yes I will give the files to you.." Dai ma replied, "I'm just worried for Aayu.. he woke up and started crying saying that he had a nightmare.."

"Is he calm now?" NK asked.

"No, he's still crying.. I was going to the kitchen to take water for him when I was you both here.." Dai ma said.

Arnav and NK rushed upstairs to see Aayu meanwhile Dai ma went towards the kitchen to fetch a glass of water for Aayu.

Aayu's room..

Aayu was crying badly resting his head on Arnav's chest who sat with him rubbing his back trying to calm him down, "Shh.. stop crying Aayu.. it was just a nightmare.."

"Mumma and Papa left me.. I was all alone.. It wash too much dalk (dark)" Aayu sobbed.

"You're not alone Champ.. You've me and Arnav uncle with you.." NK said.

Dai ma and Khushi came inside the room.

Aayu looked up to Khushi, he whispered in a soft and low tone, "Kushie!"

He immediately jumped from the bed and ran towards Khushi. Khushi lifted him in her arms and  kissed his head, "What happened my baby? Why are you crying?"

"I shaw a bad dleam.. My palents left me and I wash all alone in a dalk place!" Aayu explained burying his face on the crook of her neck.

"It was just a bad dream.. Do you know what reality is? Reality is that your parents are still with you.. though you can't see them but they will always be there for you whenever you need them.. They have become stars we see at night in the sky .. Yes they are distant from you but they never left you Aayu.." Khushi said.

Aayu nodded still upset that his parents are distant from him.

While Khushi was explaining to Aayu, Arnav and NK were staring at them awed. It was clearly seen that only Khushi could handle Aayu so well.

Arnav could finally see her face properly, she is one beautiful woman with beautiful features. He was only watching her taking care of his nephew.

"Now you'll take bath and come with downstairs to have your breakfast, ok?" Khushi asked after seeing that Aayu has calmed down.

Aayu looked at her smiling, "You'll bath me Kushie!"

Arnav immediately stood up from the bed and walked towards them, "No Aayu.. don't trouble Kushie.. I'll bath you or Dai ma.."

Khushi chuckled and corrected Arnav, "It's Khushi!"

Arnav looked at her confused, then only he understood that Aayu calls Khushi as 'Kushie' in his kid language. He mentally slapped himself embarrassed.

"Annav uncle you don't know how to bath a baby like me!" Aayu grinned.

Everyone giggled at Aayu.

"It's okay Annav sir.. I'll bath him.. it's not a problem for me.." Khushi replied smiling.

"It's Arnav!" Arnav smirked as he caught her now.

Khushi bit her tongue cursing herself because Dai ma had already told his name, but she fell in Aayu's baby language trap and the name 'Annav' slipped from her mouth.

"Ok then.." Arnav sighed in defeat and looked at Dai ma, "Dai ma those files.."

Dai ma nodded, "Sure.. Come with me beta.. I'll show you where I kept them.."

Both left Aayu's room. Khushi and NK took Aayu to the bathroom.

After taking the files from Dai ma, Arnav went to the dinning hall, he kissed Aayu's head: Bye Champ!

"Bye Annav uncle.." Aayu waved at him smiling.

"Bhai why don't you have breakfast with us?" NK asked.

"No, I'll eat something in office.." Arnav said.

"Arnav beta you're already here and breakfast is ready.. Please sit and eat.. then you'll leave for office.." Dai ma said.

Arnav glanced at Khushi who was serving the food in the table. He remembered how tasty and delicious was her food that he ate in dinner last night and that made him think properly if the best option was to have breakfast in office or at home.

"Ok.." he agreed and sat on his chair.

"This is so yummy Khushi.. You're a great cook!" NK said after tasting her aloo paratha.

Khushi smiled blushing a bit, "Thank you.."

Then she looked at Arnav who was busy and in his own world enjoying her food, she thought faking a smile, "He's clearly enjoying my food but won't utter a word of praise to me! Khadoos.. I thought he's just Khadoos in our conversation through notes, but in real life he's same only!!"

"Kushie I will show you my othel favolite caltoonsh! We will watch it togethel" Aayu squealed happily.

"Really? So Khushi is your partner now? You forgot your uncle!" NK said as he made an upset face.

"You ale shtill my paltenl (partner)  NK uncle.. Kushie joined ush recently so I've to give mole attention to hel, light?" Aayu asked cutely smiling.

"Right.. You smart naughty boy!" NK laughed.

Aayu and Khushi giggled.

Arnav cleared his throat clearly annoyed. He stood up and looked at Khushi intensely and sternly, "Follow me!"

He went towards the kitchen and a confused Khushi followed him till the kitchen.

Dai ma and NK gulped and looked at each other worriedly as they knew Arnav would scold her.

"What happened to Annav uncle?" Aayu asked confused.

"Nothing.. You eat!" NK caressed Aayu's hair gesturing him to continue eating.

At the kitchen..

"Miss Khushi are you clear about your work here?" Arnav asked.

Khushi nodded her head, "But why do you ask?"

Arnav gritted his teeth, "I don't think so! Your job here is to cook for the breakfast, lunch and dinner only.. Not to watch cartoons with my nephew, not to disobey my rules and clearly not to turn my kitchen into a dance stage!"

"Sir the food here is cooked at right time.. Me watching cartoons with Aayu or even dancing in your kitchen doesn't affect my work quality at all.." Khushi said.

"It shouldn't affect your work quality at all also.. otherwise I'll fire you!"  Arnav said and left from there.

Khushi widened her eyes and opened her mouth in big "O" shape.

After sometime, she started preparing their lunch with mood off because of Arnav.

NK walked in the kitchen, "Khushi come on.. We are going to watch cartoons.."

"No, you guys carry on.. I'm cooking for lunch.." Khushi faked a smile.

"Hey.. Did bhai said something to you?" NK walked near her as he sensed Khushi was upset.

Khushi nodded sideways avoiding eye contact with NK.

"Khushi Bhai is like that only.. He seems to be a rude and arrogant person, but in reality he's not.. It will take sometime for you to realize it.." NK said.

"But he just scolded me for watching cartoons with Aayu and dancing in the kitchen.. Like seriously? Am I a robot to just cook for breakfast, lunch and dinner and then leave? How can I ignore that cute little one (Aayu)? I just can't behave professionally with Aayu.. I'm emotionally connected to Aayu now.." Khushi said.

"Bhai is just like that Khushi.. he gets angry easily.. You don't have to be upset over this.." NK said.

Khushi smiled a little.

"Shall we go and watch cartoons with Aayu now? He's waiting since long!" NK smiled showing his arm to her.

Khushi smiled brightly and wrapped her arm around his, "Let's go!"

At night.. Living room

"Aayu baby it's getting really late for me.. I've to go home now also.. We have played enough for today, right? I promise you that tomorrow me and your NK uncle are going to play with you.. Now please give me permission to go!" Khushi pleaded caressing Aayu's hair.

Aayu who was on her lap, with his head rested on her chest and arms circled around her neck, snuggled more to her, "Nah.. don't leabe me Kushie.."

Khushi patted his back lovingly, "I'm not leaving you.. Tomorrow I'll be here.."

"I don't want you to go.. I want you to shleep hele with me.." he said looking up to her with moist eyes.

NK and Khushi looked at each other helpless.

Arnav came back from office, as usual he was about to go upstairs to his room, take a fresh bath and come downstairs to have dinner with Aayu. But he stopped on his way confused to see Khushi still here. She should have left by now.

"What happened?" he asked.

"Bhai Aayu is not ready to let his friend go home today.." NK said.

Arnav looked at Aayu in Khushi's arms.

"Aayu let her go home.. She will come tomorrow also" Arnav said.

Khushi nodded agreeing with Arnav as she stare at Aayu pleading him to understand this.

Aayu pouted sadly, he left Khushi and walked to Arnav, hiding behind Arnav's legs.

Khushi stood up, taking her purse she walked near Arnav.

Aayu hide his face from her.

"Are you angry with me?" Khushi asked as she knelt down to reach his level.

Arnav stood there watching the two bonding.

Aayu nodded, "Yesh!"

"Acha? Then tomorrow I'll team up with your NK uncle and defeat you with the water gun!" Khushi said.

"Naah!" Aayu shouted smiling, he rushed to Khushi wrapping his arms around her neck, he kissed her cheek: You'll alwaysh be in my team Kushie..

Khushi giggled, "Aren't you angry with me now?"

"Naah.." Aayu nodded sideways smiling.

"Bye.. I'll come early tomorrow just to be with you!" Khushi kissed his cheek.

Aayu nodded smiling, "Bye bye Kushie! I'll be waiting fol you.."

Arnav and NK looked at each other surprised with the way Khushi and Aayu bonded well with each other.

"Come Khushi.. I'll drop you home.." NK said taking the car keys.

"No. Thanks.. That's not needed..  I can manage.." Khushi smiled hesitantly.

"Kushie go with my NK uncle.. He dlives sho well and shales vely good jokesh.. You'll laugh all the way.. And it'sh alsho not shafe at all fol you to go back home alone.." Aayu said.

Arnav and NK chuckled. Khushi looked at Aayu dumbfounded and surprised at the baby boy talking so maturely!

"See even my big boy is saying for you to accept.. Don't even dare to say No now!" NK said smiling pretending to order her.

"Okay.." Khushi accepted.

"Let's go then!" NK smiled, he turned to Arnav and Aayu, "Bye bye!"

Aayu waved at both smiling, "Bye uncle.. Bye Kushie!"

"Bye.." Arnav said.

Khushi waved at both smiling, her eyes met with Arnav's eyes, both shared a few seconds lasting eyelock before she turned and went with NK.

Arnav lifted Aayu and messed with Aayu's hair while going upstairs to his room with Aayu, "It's not safe for girls to go back home alone.. Who taught you this big boy?"

"Mumma taught me this Annav uncle.." Aayu replied.

Arnav's expression changed on hearing about his late bhabhi, he kissed Aayu's forehead, "Always follow what she taught you!"

"I'll alwaysh.. I'll be my Mumma's good boy!" Aayu said.

"What you did today?" Arnav asked changing the topic.

Both got inside his room, he left Aayu on his bed and walked towards his closet to chose his night clothes.

"I watched caltoons with NK uncle and Kushie.." Aayu said happily.

Arnav shook his head and muttered to himself, "She's never going to follow my rules!"

"Then we played a lot Annav uncle.. We played with my watel gun at the garden alea!" Aayu said.

"Then we played with pillows in the living loom! It wash sho much fun.. NK uncle almosht fell on the flool and me and Kushie laughed sho much at him.." Aayu giggled.

"And then video games!" Aayu grinned at last.

"Long day hmm.. Did you took bath Mr. Aayu?" Arnav asked.

Aayu nodded sideways biting his tongue with sheepish smile.

"Get in the bathroom now.. I'll bath you.." Arnav said.

Aayu nodded sideways frowning, "Uncle I can bath myshelf.. I'm a glown up man now!"

"Alright.. let's go grown up man!" Arnav lifted him from the bed and took him to the bathroom.

Aayu took out his clothes and Arnav helped get in the bathtub, he handed soap to Aayu and turned on the hand shower for him.

Aayu rubbed the soap on his body, then stopped when he realized Arnav was standing there like bodyguard checking on him.

"Uncle will you keep standing hele shtaling at me?" Aayu asked, "Tlust me.. I know how to bath myshelf!"

"That'sh why you needed Khushi to bath you, right?" Arnav asked sarcastically, "Just take bath.. I'm here watching on you.. I know very well that you don't want to take any bath.. You just want to waste and play with water!"

Aayu pouted and continued rubbing his body with soap.

"You can stop.. It's here.. I live here.." Khushi said pointing with her index finger to the house.

"Oh okay.." NK said as he parked the car near her house.

"Thank you for dropping me home.." Khushi thanked him smiling.

"You're welcome.." NK said as he got down the car and opened the car's door for her.

Khushi got down the car and looked at NK, "Bye.. See you tomorrow!"

"Bye.. Good night.." NK said waving.

"Good night to you too.." she said and walked to her house.

NK smiled watching her walking towards her house. He also got in his car and drove back home.

Khushi knocked the door and was welcome by Lavanya who opened it too quickly and with a naughty smile on her face, "Who was he? Your boss? He came to drop you home on second day of your work? Seriously Khushi.. You're so lucky.."

"Just shut up La and let me get inside please.." Khushi pushed Lavanya and walked inside. She directly jumped in the couch and hugged her pillow.

Lavanya closed the door and sat beside her, "Hey don't you dare sleep now without sharing everything with me.."

"Haan Di.. Tell us, is he your Boss?.. His car is beautiful and expensive.." Meera asked curiously.

"He's not my boss.. He's my boss's younger brother.. NK!" Khushi said.

"Oh.." Lavanya and Meera exclaimed.

"Is he handsome?" Lavanya asked with naughty smile.

"Shut up La.. You're dying to link with me every men!" Khushi rolled her eyes.

"The breaking news of the day is I've finally met with my Boss! Arnav Singh Raizada.." Khushi rolled her eyes annoyed just by thinking about him.

"Wow.." Lavanya giggled excitedly, "How is he?"

"Arrogant and rude! I mean both brothers are way too different from each other.. NK is always smiling.. Arnav sir is always serious.. NK is funny and loves to joke and play around.. Arnav sir is   introvert, composed like a robot.. Arnav sir gets angry easily and NK hardly gets angry..  but both love Aayu very much.. I could see that.." Khushi said.

"Is he handsome?" Lavanya asked.

Khushi pouted and nodded her head, "He's very handsome yaar.. God made him handsome but very arrogant and rude!"

"Oh my God.. Di you're working under two handsome men!" Meera smiled widely.

"What's with both of you? I go there to work not to drool over my boss! And I'm just working for Arnav sir.. Not NK!" Khushi shook her head.

"Oh so what is NK to you?" Lavanya smirked.

"My friend!" Khushi replied.

"Friend.. and soon to be boyfriend! You won a lottery Di.." Meera said.

"Meera don't talk like this.. He's just my friend.. And I would never fall in love with someone looking at their financial status!" Khushi said in serious tone.

"Sorry Di.." Meera said.

"NK Singh Raizada.. Not bad!" Lavanya said smiling mischievously at Khushi.

Khushi threw pillow to her, "Stop it La!

"Now just stop talking about NK and Arnav sir.. Let me share with you what I did with Aayu today.." Khushi smiled happily.

Meera yawned and went to her room. Only Lavanya stayed with Khushi hearing what she did with Aayu and how Arnav scolded her for dancing and watching cartoons with Aayu.

At the living room..

Arnav picked one pillow from the floor irritated, he started adjusting the pillow in the couch. Then cleaned the table and kept the TV remote on it's place.

Once he was satisfied of seeing his living room clean and everything kept on it's place. He went towards the kitchen to warm his and Aayu's food.

Once again he found a sticky note on his fridge.

Arnav shook his head, as he took that note and threw it on dustbin.

"How can he scold me for watching cartoons with Aayu? Is it a crime now.." Khushi complained as she cooked for dinner in the kitchen.

"But did you notice something Khushi.. He watched your whole dance and later he complained.. He's naughty like me!" Lavanya smirked naughtily.

"La shut up otherwise you're cooking for the dinner and not me.." Khushi fumed.

Lavanya laughed, "Okay okay.. I'm sorry!"

Khushi pouted, "Was he seriously watching me dance?"

"You never know!" Lavanya shrugged.

"He must be thinking I'm a mad girl.. I was dancing imagining my life partner yaar with a romantic song!" Khushi shut her eyes shaking her head in embarrassment.

Arnav's room..

Arnav was checking important mails on his laptop and Aayu was sleeping on his bed beside him.

Aayu tapped his hand, "Annav uncle!"

"Hmm.." Arnav replied waiting for him to speak.

"Can we watch caltoons? I'm not shleepy!" Aayu said.

Arnav was about to deny but remembered about Khushi's note.  He looked at Aayu and nodded, "Okay.. for 30 minutes only!"

Aayu smiled brightly and sat on the bed as his uncle switched on the TV and put cartoons channel for him.

Both sat watching it together.
