Epilogue
He gasped and heaved as he glared at Tarka. Tarka scoffed. "You had it coming." She lowly growled, as Valor threw her off, causing Tarka to yelp, even more-so as Valor threw more water balloons at her.
"Hey! No fair!" Tarka grumbled, upset that she couldn't get the final hit in. Valor only laughed. "Yeah, yeah, well, life isn't fair. Be grateful I showed mercy on you!" Valor cackled, but abruptly shut up when Tarka playfully tackled him. "Oh, shush!" She got off of Valor as she picked up the broken water balloons.
She glanced over at Valor who started helping clean up after their grand fight. "So, Valor," Tarka slowly began, tossing the balloons into a bucket. Valor looked up but continued picking up the trash. "How's your boyfriend doing?" Tarka asked, grinning. Valor shot a glare at Tarka. "He's not my boyfriend. I already told you." Valor huffed, Tarka cackling as his wings fluffed up. "Sure, sure, and I have eight eyes and eight legs." Tarka scoffed.
Valor pointedly ignored her teasing, as the two worked together to clean up the yard so that the chickens wouldn't eat it.
After a long period of silence, Valor spoke up. "... He's doing fine." He mumbled, catching Tarka's attention. "Nice, well, you two lovebirds have fun during your next outing." Tarka chuckled, as she finished picking up the rest of the balloon pieces and put them in the bucket. Valor did the same and shot a small glare at Tarka. "I take everything I said about you back, you're not going to be the godmother of my future children, and your mother would probably be so disappointed in you." Valor playfully decided.
Tarka huffed. "Awh, come on? I cant be the godmother to little Tommy?" Tarka cackled as she picked up the bucket and threw away the trash. "No, no you can not. And his name is... Tom...ma- Thomas!" Valor thought, then decided, which caused Tarka to burst into a laughing fit.
"Wow, you good?" Tarka asked, grabbing some lemonade from the fridge and taking a sip. "Yes! Yes I am, thank you very much!" Valor retorted, before the two fell into silence once again.
"I wonder how Donni is doing. Probably is terrified." Valor whispered. Tarka glanced up. "Well then, go visit him." She suggested, which caused Valor to reel back. "When I look like this!? I think not!" "Oh come on, I'm sure Donni will appreciate you still, no matter how you look." Tarka comforted, as Valor huffed. "I'll think about it."
"I'm sure you will."
