Kasia
I took Xolani to a different hotel and got her food and water. I didn't understand what was going on with Silver. This was his sister. Kyle told me about her. About how their mom took her and left after their dad died.
Now, I'm getting that their mom wasn't just bad. She was evil toward them. Silver doesn't tell me anything, so I can only assume his mother hurt him badly.
"Thank you for everything." Xolani said quietly, taking the orange juice from me.
I smiled, nodding. "Of course. I'll talk to Silver about this too. You'll come with us to America."
Xolani frowned. "Miss," she started. "Why don't my brothers actually love me?" Her lips quivered as she spoke. "What did I do?"
I shook my head. "Nothing. Silver's just hurt. I will talk to him. Don't worry about anything."
She nodded solemnly, drinking her juice.
I sighed and looked at the time. "I've been gone for too long, he's going to worry." I said. "Take care of yourself and eat breakfast."
She nodded as I gathered my bags and left quickly, using google translate to take a taxi back to my hotel.
I needed Silver to just talk to me. I needed him to trust me. I walked into the hotel with a determined mindset.
I took my keycard out, opened the door, and walked into the dark room. The room was a mess. The bed was a mess. The tv was broken, a hole in the wall, broken glass on the floor and the lamp was broken.
"Silver?" I walked carefully over the broken stuff on the ground that we most likely would have to pay for. The bathroom light was on, so I grew some balls and opened the door. "Oh, Silver," I frowned.
He was slumped down on the floor. He looked miserable and sad. I slowly kneeled down beside him and hugged him, his head on top of my chest. "Kasia," he murmured, his hand reaching down my pants.
"No." I gripped his wrist. "Silver, stop. Talk to me, please."
He shook his head adamantly. "I–"
"You need to talk to me. I don't know what's going on."
Silver was shaking in my embrace. He pulled me closer to him. "You're not going to see me the same, Kasia. I promise, you don't want to hear this."
I cupped his face and looked at him. "I love you, Silver. I want to spend the rest of my life with you. I want to carry your burdens just as you carry mine. I want you to trust me. Do you trust me?"
He looked away, thinking. "Ok," He hugged me tightly, nodding his head. "My mother had her first daughter when I was fifteen. After that, everything changed. Someone managed to get through security and enter my parents bedroom and shot my father in the head while he was asleep."
"I'm sorry," I whispered.
He shook his head. "That's not even the worst part. My mother had him killed. She told him not to sleep with his gun and she had her cult leader kill him."
"Cult?" Did Kyle mention this to me?
"She was in a cult when she met my father and he took her out of it. She was pretending to love him while he loved her." Silver took a shaky breath. "I was so close to my mom. I still called her my mommy, because I was a mama's boy. She told me she loved me. She told all of us countless times and then she let that man abuse us and said it was because she loved us."
He paused for a second, and I massaged his scalp, trying to calm his trembling. "It's ok, Silver. I'm sorry. You don't have to–"
"No, I'm going to tell you." He said, looking into my eyes. His starry eyes struggled to keep the tears at bay.
I looked away before I started crying as well. "Ok,"
"He told her that we needed to be cleansed and he would do his best. Rune was already a grown man, he wasn't home at the time so mother tricked him into coming home early. He was ambushed on the way home and beaten half to death. Then all of us together, he starved and beat us bloody. I refuse to listen to him. I tried to talk to my mother and she–" he sighed again.
"Take your time," I said softly.
"She told him," he continued. "He told her that I couldn't be cleansed enough to join the cult by him. That she needed to do it. So they waterboarded me, beat me, and gave me no water so I was weak enough. He forced Viagra inside my mouth and when it began to work he made my mother..." his voice broke. He covered his face.
My eyes began to sting, but I held them in. I needed to be strong for him. "Silver, what the hell did she do?" I hoped it wasn't what I thought it was.
"He made her fuck me." He cried softly. "I couldn't move. They had broken my arms so I couldn't push her off. I had to watch her bounce herself on my dick and hear her moan my name. It was disgusting. This was my fucking mother." he bit his lip and looked away. "This went on for days, she came on me, she sucked me off, and when I got too dehydrated they gave me water but then tied me up so I couldn't move. She did the same to Rune once and he went unconscious but I couldn't. I was awake the whole time."
"Silver." I looked at him, and my vision blurred with tears. "I'm so sorry. I'm so, so, sorry." I hugged him, comforting him as he silently spilled tears.
"So much shame and pain, Kasi. She was my mother and I loved her and she betrayed me. After that, she would always say she was sorry but then have that man force Viagra in my mouth and hop back on my dick like she didn't give birth to me fifteen years before. They had my brothers eating their own shit for food, covered in their own piss and all my mother had to say was fucking sorry."
The lump in my throat was too painful. I looked at the man in front of me, and I looked at him painfully, reliving his trauma, and I felt for him. I loved him, and it aches me that someone would do this to him.
I let out a sob. "Oh, Silver."
his own mother raped him. His own mother did this to him. It's why he hated his name. It was why he couldn't say sorry or why it was so hard to express his love. It was all his mother.
"My mother had anisocoria. That's why I knew Zaire was ok." He said again.
I pulled away and looked at him. "What?" I frowned. "So, that's why Aeros acted a little weird when he saw Zaire's eyes."
Silver nodded.
"Are you ok with it?" I asked.
He nodded softly. "It's ok. I was only angry because I can never truly forget my mother. I was only mean to that girl because my mother chose to protect her. I was jealous and scared." He admitted.
I nodded, caressing his face. He was my sweet baby, my love. I'm not going to let his mother touch him. "I love you."
He looked at me and raised his hand to wipe my tears. "Why are you crying?"
"Because it hurts me when you hurt."
He leaned his forehead against mine. "I love you too."
