It landed transforming into a volleyball! The plays looked at each other confused at the turn of events. One of them curiously lifted the ball and tried to dribble it. He bounced it once, then twice but it didn't quite work.
"Whatta we do?" Number 13 on the Cleveland Bear (this is made up. I don't watch basketball)
"I think the answer's quite obvious," someone from the other team replied, with a mysterious and playful glint in her eye. The others looked at her with curiosity.
"We play volleyball!"

She spent the next hour or so teaching the basic rules of volleyball, the crowd was surprisingly okay with the sudden shift in sports. Once she was done, she served to ball to the other side when it disappeared mid-launch.

"There goes our game."
