I move to my room i had left my phone there and i sat on the bed picking it up

I saw so many messages from Taniya my friend i was surprised

I opened our group chat

We had proper wedding shoot but i actually never saw it yet

Then i closed my phone and move to change my lehenga.

I went out of the room to find the gang

They were in living room so i sat with them

The time passed with there never ending tales

One thing that i notice was the difference in karan in there childhood tales he was a doting brother who use to tease spends time with them but that gradually decrease to this point where he is no where in there fun tales

It makes me think that this family also have there own secrets

It was time for dinner we all had it silence

His mother tell him about the paghphera and he nodded

After dinner
We had ice-cream which obviously just the youngster have and even Karan didn't have it

" You know there was a time he use to fight for his icecream ,  never use to share it with anyone " his mother said suddenly and i look at her surprised " now he has just immerse themselves in his work and nothing else" she said

I wasn't surprised offcourse i had my own doubts regarding his behaviour but i can easily imagine a young him glaring at anyone who tried to have his icecream

I smiled thinking about it

After the icecream i move to my room

He was again in study i heard him speaking so I didn't went there

I got changed in my night suits did my skin care routine called Taniya and talked to her

He still didn't come to the room

Whole day he has just worked apart i frown and move to the study

Thankfully he was on a call not a video call

I gesture him to cut the call he frown but did it

" Its night" i said

" Yaa you go to sleep i have to check few things will come in a while " ..

" Didn't you work the whole day"

" No in morning i was busy selecting your gift so didn't did any Work few things are remaining you go i will come " he said moving back to his chair

Teju" i mentally slapped myself he is not Rishabh who will be scared of your eyes nor he knows you for year he lived his life like this for years why did you expect him to come as soon as you said it didn't we agree to not have any expectations all are his fault since first talk he let you have your way you are spoiled couldn't handle a slight rejection

She move to the bed and stare at bear who come to her legs and nudge her to pat his head

She chuckle " atleast you are here " in truth she is frightened to sleep alone in an unknown room the fear of unknown is always the greatest that's why she went in there without thinking much but she should know her boundaries

She laid on the bed but didn't turn off the light hugging her pillow

Suddenly she heard footsteps and saw him entering the room

He went to closet and come out changed in his night suit and come to bed

" Your work? " She asks and he chuckle

" The face you made before leaving the study did you expect me to do work after that little one i just called my PA to cancel everything and put it on tomorrow Happy? "

She smile and nodded " i m not a free man little one i work day n night without thinking anything but i can try for you " he said and she smile again

" Now sleep i m here " he said softly creasing her hair

They close there eyes and sleep facing each other

Next morning

Karan's Pov
I m up before 6 early then usual but its not a surprise bcoz Yesterday for the first time in a long time i slept before 12 at night so offcourse my sleep schedule is fullfilled
All due to the girl sleeping by my side her hand is on chest
I never thought i would neglect my work just for a sad look a girl has but seeing her looking down and walkinh away
Made me change my decision
And i know this is not the first change not the last
Unconsciously also i had did many things i won't for her
And I don't even care if i m changing bcoz its making her smile the way she did yesterday

I woke up and instead of gym went to complete the work I didn't went to study but sat on the sofa and kept looking at her sleeping peacefully whenever i could

After completing my work i look at the time it was almost 8 i could go to gym but that would make me late for breakfast so i went to closet to take a bath and get ready

When i move out changed she saw in closet selecting outfits

" Good morning" she said softly

" Good morning little one wear the light pink one " i said and she nodded

Taking that one she move in the restroom

I move out of the room and called my PA

" Don't schedule any meeting till 12 pm put it all after that "

" Till when sir? "

" Till the day activities are completed" i said and cut the call

No one today will ask me to come early to bed i should take advantage of it
