Chapter-3- Failed Aims
As I was walking through, I watched a clanging cage moving left and right. I zoomed in and perceived a monkey shaking it.
"Yo bro. Whatcha up to?" I smiled. How stupid of me to talk to a monkey.
Well, that monkey would have been the partly reason for my future doom.
"Os chu o open, Chu Chu!" the monkey shrieked, further gesticulating to probably open the door.
"You want me to open the door?"
The monkey nodded with a mysterious smile.
"What would I gain for it?"
The monkey made a certain gesture which directed to his action of thinking. Then he popped up his forefinger with a smile and moved his finger up and down.
"Do you mean_ anything I want?" He nodded again and I chuckled, "Now what can I want from a tiny monkey?!"
He huffed and crossed his arms, making me scoff. Then he again swung his hands up, down, left and right and that I understood, "No way you idiot! Ho-how can yo- you tell them that I'm hiding here? I mean I will make up an excuse and sa-say that it was a coincidence. Duh! Like who would believe you?! Huh!"
I mean a puny little monkey could not just threaten me, ri-right?
The monkey, literally out of nowhere erupted into a laughter, clutching only his stomach.
"Wha-what? Why the hell are you laughing?" I eyed his tiny body, almost nervously.
Calming down, he pointed a name board on the bottom of the cage.
I tugged my bangs behind my ear and bent down to see it.

"Assistance of the royal fool. One of high intelligence and importance."
"Fuck you, monkey." I cursed, "Okay okay, I'll open the cage but you have to promise you won't do anything mischievous or you know."
With some sort of a persuasive smile, he crossed his middle and index fingers on his chest as for 'crossing his heart' and I forwarded to unbar the lock.
Attacked with a certain joy, he happily jumped around and wrapped his arms around my neck.
"Yes ye-yes that's enough."
I went back and decided to leave that lil bastard on his own.
And I wished I had not.
Then that tiny animal hopped throughout the floor doing the one thing I never imagined.
He unbarred all cages of the varied creatures and a bundle of those animals created a boisterous environment leading to a hullabaloo of their uproars.
No, no, no - that just couldn't happen.
My eyes widening in terror, would not just believe the unfortunate sight. Cold sweats dripped from my forehead and my hands got all clammy.
First off, the whole place was a narrow, pint-sized, grimy damp.
Secondly, some moronic birds flew above me, flickering feathers on my head and animals crossed throughout my standing position.
I ended up flicking from side to side as I searched for an escape plan or at least a route to just get out of this mess.
My heart pounded harder than before when I saw the fatuous monkey open the door that lead to the entrance of the passenger seats above the stairs. Shit.
"No! You- you puny fucking beast! Leave. That. Door. Right. Now." I gritted my teeth.
He moved his head sideways, smirking haughtily.
"Choochoo na-uh."
Still his smirk given to pester the hell outta me, he steadily turned the doorknob, and the door grated as the animals rushed through the stairs.
I hate monkeys.
That was not good. Not at all. Nope. Not a single yes.
And now the incident simply switched off my higher brain, causing hundreds of unrelated thoughts spinning on.
Without giving a proper think, I rushed to the door, followed by the animals. I balanced my speed clutching on to the railing.
The monkey as the lead, made an entrance onto the passengers' seat. Though it was only the king and a few of his royal attendants on the small plane, the wild beasts overrun everything on it.
It caused a ruckus with people jumping and some climbing over the tables. It was lucky for those with a window seat for they could duck under, the whole time and as for those nearing the aisle, panic was just a smaller word.
The royal quiet plane was now a grotesque environment, several dozen animals surrounding the few royals and fight attendants .
All the incoherent wails of fear and rage gave me a topsy turvy sensation with unanswered questions.
What could I possibly do right then? Expose myself? And what if the monkey betrayed me and told everyone about my presence? Oh god, I needed to flee as soon as possible.
Oh me and my stupid thoughts! I was on the damn plane flying on the damn sky!
Could things get any worse?
Oh yeah. Of course it can.
My wobbly thoughts got interrupted by the surface floor crumbling; at first gliding to the right and then otherwise.
My heart stumbled as a moronic idea hit my head.
I plunged myself through the crowd and the furs- animals weren't kind of my thing but I never had any resentment towards their skin to begin with.
I could see some royals detecting my presence but they were not in the situation of judging it.
Nevertheless, I kept nearing my suspicion, especially after I witnessed frosty swift air swooshing over me, blowing away almost everything in that side. I squeezed my eyes shut due to the fast pace and covered my right side with my palm.
Hard work but succeeding, I was able to look past the wind but with still narrowed vision.
"Galloping gremlins!" I cursed at seeing the ailerons of the wing through the broken window breaking apart which are basically used in pairs to control the airplane’s bank as far as I knew. The flaps which reduce the stalling speed of a wing most probably was on flames further disabling a proper landing.
The plane was then incoherently changing directions and I was ae to control my balance- until one turn when I fell to the left side.
I turned around reflexively to not hit my head but instead my hands fell on something much soft and warm.
I lifted up my face and spotted a familiar chiseled face.
"Your highness! I-I am_"
"What are you doing here?"
Prior to further stupid convo, I got up and ran forward aimlessly. Quick unexpected, he didn't call out for me either.
With me in front, I saw the pilot room's door half broken and feared the cockpit to be messed up by some boisterous animals- for which the ride wasn't so straightforward right then.
Abruptly, the floor felt like bending downwards and I immediately took it to be the landing. Not the very pretty landing.
