Subhaan stepped off the plane at Indira Gandhi International Airport, the warm Delhi air enveloping him like a gentle hug. He had spent years in London, studying and working, but India was home. And now, he was returning for a reason that filled his heart with excitement – Ibadat.

As he exited the airport along with his father Hafeez, his mother Kainaat and his brother Sufi, Subhaan's eyes scanned the crowd, searching for familiar faces.  His mother not from blood but heart, Dua, beamed with joy, flanked by Ibadat and Mannat. The sister's bright smiles sparkled like diamonds.

Subhaan's heart skipped a beat as his gaze locked onto Ibadat. Her long, dark hair cascaded down her back, framing her porcelain skin and bright, expressive eyes. The emails, the phone calls, the memories – all culminated in this moment.

Ibadat's eyes met Subhaan's, and her face radiated happiness. She had dreamed of this reunion for years. The virtual connection they shared had blossomed into something deeper, and she couldn't wait to feel his presence, to see his smile up close.

As Subhaan approached, Ibadat's pulse quickened. She felt like a schoolgirl again, nervously excited. Mannat, sensing her sister's emotions, smiled knowingly. "Subhaan beta, welcome home!" Dua exclaimed, embracing her son. Subhaan hugged his Dua Ammi, then turned to the sister. "Ibadat, Mannat – you both look stunning!" Ibadat's cheeks flushed as Subhaan drew her into a warm hug.

The familiarity of his scent, the gentle pressure of his arms, sent shivers down her spine. The drive home was filled with laughter and catching up. Subhaan regaled them with stories of London, while Ibadat and Mannat shared tales of their college adventures.

SUBHAAN'S POV

As I stepped off the plane in Delhi, excitement coursed through my veins. I was finally returning home, and more importantly, I'd see Ibadat again.

The past few years in London had been a blur of studies, work, and emails to Ibadat. Our virtual connection had grown stronger with each passing day, but nothing compared to being in her presence.

I remembered the day we first met, her bright smile and sparkling eyes leaving an indelible mark on my heart.

Our friendship blossomed into something more, despite the distance between us. As I exited the airport, I spotted my family, Mannat, and Ibadat waiting for me. My heart skipped a beat as our eyes met. Ibadat's smile faltered for a moment, and I sensed a hint of nervousness. I couldn't blame her; I felt it too.

As we drove to Ibadat's house, I couldn't help but steal glances at her. She looked even more beautiful than I remembered, her hair styled in loose waves, her eyes shining bright. Mannat chattered excitedly beside her, filling me in on family news and gossip. I listened attentively, nodding along, but my attention kept drifting back to Ibadat.

The familiar scent of their home, the comforting sounds of laughter and chatter, felt like a balm to my soul.As we settled in, I found myself gravitating toward Ibadat. We sat together on the couch, our thighs touching, sending sparks through my body."I've missed you so much," I whispered, turning to her.Ibadat's eyes softened. "I've missed you too, Subhaan."Our gazes locked, the world around us fading away.

IBADAT'S POV

As Subhaan sat beside me on the couch, his thigh touching mine, I felt a rush of emotions. The familiarity of his presence, the comfort of his smile, was like coming home."I've missed you so much," he whispered, his eyes burning with intensity.

My heart skipped a beat. "I've missed you too, Subhaan."Our gazes locked, and I felt like I was drowning in his eyes. The world around us melted away, leaving only the two of us.I couldn't believe he was finally here, beside me, after all these years. The emails, the phone calls, the video chats – nothing compared to this

.Subhaan's hand brushed against mine, sending shivers down my spine. I didn't pull away, didn't want to break this spell."Mannat's been teasing me nonstop," I said, attempting to sound casual despite my racing heart.Subhaan chuckled.

"I can imagine."His laughter was infectious, and I found myself smiling, feeling carefree. But beneath the surface, my mind whirled with questions. What did Subhaan want from me? Was this just a reunion between friends, or something more?

"Thank you, Subhaan," I said, my voice barely above a whisper, as I gazed into his eyes.Subhaan's expression transformed from surprise to curiosity, his brow furrowing. "For what, Ibadat? Coming back to Delhi?"

I nodded, my heart pounding in my chest. "For being here, for remembering me, for caring."Subhaan's face softened, his eyes filling with warmth. He took my hand, his touch sending shivers down my spine.

"I'd move mountains to be with you, Ibadat," he said, his voice low and husky. "You're the reason I came back. You're my home."My cheeks flushed as I felt the depth of his emotions. Mannat, sensing the tension, excused herself, leaving us alone in the cozy living room.Subhaan's gaze never left mine.

"I've missed you so much. More than you'll ever know. Every day felt like an eternity without you."I swallowed hard, my voice trembling. "I've missed you too, Subhaan. Every moment, every breath."The air was thick with unspoken emotions, our hearts beating in sync. Subhaan's hand tightened around mine, his fingers intertwining with mine."I've thought about you every day," he whispered. "Wondered what you'd say, what you'd do, what you'd think."

Subhaan's hand tightened around mine, his fingers intertwining with mine. "You're home now," he said, his voice filled with warmth.I smiled, feeling a sense of belonging. "Feels like it." Mannat joined us, chattering excitedly about her birthday plans. As we strolled, Subhaan pointed out landmarks, sharing stories about his childhood.I listened, captivated by his laughter and enthusiasm. The evening air was filled with laughter and conversation, our connection growing stronger.
