•Against all the Odds•

This starts after the episode when the divorce case got dismissed.

Mannat's resentment toward Ibadat intensified as she witnessed Subhaan's growing support for her. The divorce case's dismissal had been a blow to Mannat's plans, and now she felt her carefully crafted manipulation unraveling. Subhaan's words and actions, once under her control, now seemed to favor Ibadat.

Ibadat, still reeling from the pain of Subhaan's past actions, had begun to distance herself from him. His words had cut deep, and she struggled to trust him again. Subhaan's attempts to apologize and make amends only seemed hollow to her.

She needed time and space to heal, and Subhaan's presence only served as a painful reminder. Subhaan, realizing his mistakes, felt a void in his heart. He longed to make things right with Ibadat, to regain her trust and love.

But every time he tried to reach out, she pushed him away. He understood her pain and gave her space, but the distance between them grew unbearable. One day, Subhaan approached Ibadat with a humble request.

"Ibadat, I know I've hurt you deeply. I don't expect forgiveness, but can we at least be friends?" Ibadat's gaze lingered, searching for sincerity. "Friends? You think we can go back to being friends after everything you've done?" Subhaan's eyes dropped, shamefaced.

"I know it's a lot to ask. But I want to prove my commitment, to show you I've changed." Ibadat's expression hardened. "You've broken my trust, Subhaan. Friendship is built on trust, and that's something you've destroyed." Subhaan's face contorted in pain. "I understand. But please, Ibadat, don't shut me out completely."

Ibadat's voice remained firm. "I need time, Subhaan. Time to heal, time to move on. Leave me alone." Subhaan's heart sank, but he nodded, respecting her boundaries. As Subhaan walked away, Mannat watched with a calculating gaze. "This is perfect," Mannat thought. "Subhaan and Ibadat's rift will make it easier for me to manipulate him again."

Mannat approached Subhaan, her eyes brimming with fake concern. "Subhaan, I see how much you're hurting. Ibadat's rejection must be devastating." Subhaan's vulnerability made him susceptible to Mannat's words.

Mannat's expression turned sympathetic."Ibadat's been using you for her own gain. She never truly loved you."Subhaan's doubts resurfaced."Do you think that's true?"Mannat's voice dripped with venom."I know it's true. I've seen the way she manipulates people. You deserve better."

"I'll always be here for you, Subhaan."As Mannat walked away, Subhaan's thoughts swirled:"Is Ibadat truly using me? Does Mannat genuinely care?"Ibadat, observing from afar, sensed Mannat's manipulation.

Ibadat watched Subhaan, her heart heavy with uncertainty. "I want to see what you do now, Subhaan," she thought. "Will you again distrust me? Will you fall for Mannat's lies?" Ibadat's eyes narrowed, her mind racing.

"I've given you chances, Subhaan. I've forgiven you. But if you betray me again..." Her thoughts trailed off, the pain of potential heartbreak too much to bear. "Ibadat, don't," she cautioned herself.

"Don't let hope creep in. Protect yourself." As Subhaan struggled with Mannat's manipulation, Ibadat observed, her emotions in turmoil. "Subhaan, make your choice," she thought. "Choose between Mannat's poison and my love."

Subhaan, oblivious to Ibadat's inner conflict, wrestled with his own doubts. "Mannat's words haunt me," he thought. "What if Ibadat's been using me?" Ibadat's gaze never wavered, her eyes boring into Subhaan's soul. "Show me, Subhaan," she silently urged. "Show me where your heart truly lies." The air thickened with tension, the outcome hanging precariously.

Subhaan's eyes dropped, his mind replaying past mistakes. "I had once made a mistake by trusting Mannat," he thought. "I let her manipulate me, and I hurt Ibadat." Regret washed over him, followed by determination.

"I won't repeat that mistake," Subhaan vowed. "I'll prove my love and trust to Ibadat." Subhaan's gaze sought Ibadat, his heart aching with longing. "Ibadat, my love," he thought. "Forgive me. Give me another chance." Mannat's voice echoed in his mind, but Subhaan pushed it away.

"No, Mannat. I won't fall for your lies again." Subhaan took a deep breath and approached Ibadat. "Ibadat, can we talk?" he asked, his voice laced with sincerity. Ibadat's expression remained guarded.

"What is there to talk about, Subhaan?" Subhaan's eyes locked onto hers. "I want to prove my trust, Ibadat. I want to make things right." Ibadat's gaze searched his, seeking authenticity. "Prove it, Subhaan," she said finally. "Show me you've changed." Subhaan's face set in determination. "I will, Ibadat. I promise." The distance between them seemed to shrink, hope flickering to life.

...........

Mannat's eyes gleamed with malevolence as she carefully tampered with the pressure cooker's valve, her mind consumed by a deadly plan. "That Ibadat thinks she can steal Subhaan from me?" Mannat seethed, her voice barely audible.

"I'll show her what it means to cross me." With calculated precision, Mannat placed the cooker on the stove, her heart racing with anticipation. "Ibadat will use it to cook lunch," Mannat thought.

"And when she does, the cooker will explode, killing her instantly." Mannat's sinister smile spread across her face as she envisioned the chaos that would ensue. "Subhaan will be mine again," Mannat whispered to herself.

"And no one will ever suspect a thing." Meanwhile, Ibadat remained oblivious to the danger lurking in her own kitchen. As she began preparing lunch, Mannat's plan unfolded. Ibadat placed the cooker on the stove, unaware of the deadly trap.

The hissing of the cooker grew louder, pressure building. Suddenly, Subhaan burst into the kitchen. "Ibadat, get away from the stove!" Subhaan yelled. But Ibadat hesitated, confusion etched on her face. "What's wrong, Subhaan?"

Subhaan sprinted toward Ibadat, pulling her to safety just as the pressure cooker exploded. The kitchen erupted into chaos, shattering glass and splintering wood. Mannat's eyes widened in shock. "No... it can't be," Mannat stammered. Subhaan shielded Ibadat, his heart racing. "Ibadat, are you okay?" Ibadat's eyes locked onto Subhaan's, gratitude and fear mingling.

Subhaan's anger boiled over as he realized Mannat's sinister plan. "Mannat, you're insane!" Subhaan thundered, his hand connecting with her face in a sharp slap. Mannat's eyes widened in shock, her cheek stinging.

"You'll pay for this, Subhaan!" Mannat shrieked. Subhaan's expression hardened. "You almost killed Ibadat. You're going to pay for that." He pulled out his phone and dialed the police. "Hello, emergency? I need to report an attempted murder." Mannat's face contorted in rage.

"You'll never prove it, Subhaan!" But before the police arrived, Ibadat intervened. "Subhaan, stop!" Ibadat pleaded, grasping his arm. "Let her go, Subhaan. She's not worth it." Subhaan's eyes blazed with anger.

"She tried to kill you, Ibadat. She deserves to rot in jail." Ibadat's gentle touch calmed him. "Subhaan, think of the consequences. Prison won't reform her." Mannat's gaze shifted between Subhaan and Ibadat, her expression twisted. "You're protecting me?" Mannat sneered at Ibadat. "Why?" Ibadat's eyes filled with compassion.

"Because everyone deserves a chance to change, Mannat." Subhaan's face softened, understanding Ibadat's perspective. "Okay, Ibadat. For you, I'll let her go." The police arrived, responding to Subhaan's earlier call. "We have reports of an attempted murder," the officer stated. Subhaan hesitated, glancing at Ibadat. "Never mind," Subhaan said finally. "It was a misunderstanding." Mannat's eyes narrowed, her malice temporarily concealed.
