"Kya" everyone said in unison Jaddu taking Rohit's support, harry on cloud 9, Rohit and Virat with popping eyes meanwhile Yuzi covered Kuldeep's ears and eyes with his hands.

"I am smart, intellectual, sagacious, obsequious and fully fledged. Right Rah?" Harry said in his fake English accent making everyone cringe.

"Sure" Rahul said agreeing making everyone frown and Harry smirked.

"Bhaiya remember kal raat hum log Mahi bhai ki bike chura ke ghoomne gaye the" Yuzi said and Mahi bhai frowned.

"Han me Yuzi, Kuldeep, Jaddu bhaiya or aap gaye the na" Rishabh said and Rahul nods agreeing.

"Han abhi to thore time bad Mahi bhai bhi mere honewale hain" Anushka teased him.

"KYA KYA KYA MERE BECHARE BHOLE BHAI KI TARAF AANKH UTHAKE BHI MAT DEKHNA TU" Virat said getting up again and Anushka rolled her eyes.

"Or jo tu kisi or ke saath room share karta tha uska kya" Virat said hurt lacing his voice.

"Nahi mene kisi ke saath room share nhi kiya" Rohit quickly justified.

"Acha wo point hatado. OR JO TU HUM DONO KE BEECH ME RITS KO LEKE AAYA MENE KABHI MIND KIYA" Virat said sending Rohit on a guilt-trip while Mahi bhai stood up in shock and that dramatic trio lay down on each other stiffing their laughter.

"Rits aaye in dono ke beech me" Mahi bhai thought to himself.

"BOL NA AB JAWAB DE JAB TU OR RITS DATE PAR JAATE THE, JAB TU USSE CENTURY DEDICATE KARTA THA MENE MIND KIYA NAHI NA TO TU KYA MUJHSE LAD RAHA HAI" Virat asked.

"Nahi vi me lad nahi raha tha" Rohit clarified.

"Or wo bhi jab mujhe 4 goliyan lagi hain" Virat earned a glare from Mahi bhai "Han matlab 2 goliyan lagi hain tab tujhe meri thori si bhi parwa nahi aye bhagwan" Virat fake cried.

"Vi. Vi sun na meri baat" Rohit said sitting beside Virat as he turned his face.

"Matlabi insa kya matlab matlab kar raha hai. Tu bhi ab Anushka ki tarah mera bp high kar raha hai wo kam thi kya. Sangat ka asar" Virat said offending Rishabh but Jaddu pulled him back from breaking the RohiRat moment.

"Sorry Na Vi ab man ja tu" Rohit said.

"Nahi tu jaa ab mujhe baat hi nahi karni" Virat said stubbornly.

"Vi sorry na tujhe mne itna miss kiya tu mujhe jane ko bol raha hai" Rohit as==said sweetly.

"Awwie Ro" Virat said hugging him who hugged back while the sane members of ICT stay rooted to their places shocked and the (in)sane ones were rolling on the floor laughing.

Mahi bhai looked at hugging Rohirat and then Yuzi who has recorded all this and was forwarding it to Rishabh who was grinning proudly and sighed.

AFTER FEW HOURS:

Virat was sleeping under the effect of medicine so team thought to stroll outside the room in the hospital as this floor is vacant except some staff. Just then Sheetal's and Anushka's voice having a deep conversation attracted theirb attention.

"Nahi tum dono khud ko samajhte kya ho rakha hi kyun hai mujhe, like mujhe social media se pata chal raha hai ke kya mess phela hoa hai" Sheetal scoffed.

"I thought it's not that deep mujhe kya pata tha aisa hoga" Anushka reasoned.

"Nahi pata tha to at least discuss with me na tum dono ko har cheez khud kyun deal karni hoti hai pata nahi kya samajh rakha hai khud ko or mujhe bhi. I am done seriously" Sheetal said exasperated.

"Iski himmat kaise hoi meri bhabhi par chillane ki" Rishabh said enraged but Rahul pulled him back.

"Sun to le baat kya hai or Mahi bhai kya kar rahe hain wahan" Rahul said and Rishabh pauses for a while.

"Acha na hogaye ghalti ab kya karna hai" Anushka asked casually smiling sheepishly only to earn a glare from Sheetal.

"Virat ko pata hai" Sheetal asked timidly.

"Nahi sirf mujhe or Mahi bhai ko pata hai" Anushka said and Sheetal sighed.

"You are digging your own grave Nushkay usko kyun nahi bataya" Sheetal asked fearing the consequences.

"You know his health don't you" Anushka asked and she sighed.

"Ok fine. We'll manage it before he gets to know. Tension na lo so what you have thought?" Sheetal said.

"Umm mne mummy ko boldiya tha ke wo or Kiara mujhe unfollow karden social media se for some time and privatize your accounts. Ye relatives ke stupid calls and those social media and articles ko avoid karo that's it" Anushka explained.

"Good move girl" Mahi bhai said impressed.

"Exactly you thought so well especially calls wala like ye relatives and neighbors hi sources or insiders bante hain Media ke mostly. So your family is out of it." Sheetal calmed down a bit.

"Something is really really wrong" Jassi thought loud enough and team wished for it to be false.

"Ok so I have a solution for you as well. Me ek kam karti hon tumhare or Virat ke behalf pr statement release kardeti hon making your relationship official" Sheetal suggested.

"WHAT??" Anushka was shocked to say the least.

"Han we'll make your relationship official so all those things will make sense and no one will raise a finger on your intentions" Sheetal said.

"Umm abhi aise I mean" This was the last thing Anushka expected.

"Han I mean kabhi na kabhi to karna hi tha na official tum dono ko" Sheetal said looking at speechless Anushka, though Mahi bhai wanted to say something but he avoided intervening.

"Nahi that's not right don't do this" Anushka said firmly

"Kyun kya issue hai? Virat ka well we can have a word with him over this" Sheetal said.

"It's not about him bas leave it kuch or karte hain" Anushla said.

"Anushka we can't do anything except that this is the only reliable option I can see" Sheetal said annoyed.

"Ok then leave it don't do anything, luch time ki baat hai bas" Anushka said stubbornly which irked Sheetal

Team just audibly gasped at that monologue gaining their attention. Anushka didn't look at them while Sheetal rolled her eyes and Mahi bhai signaled them to stay silent.

"Sheetal see we can do something el.." Anushka tried to speak but Sheetal interrupted harshly.

"Cut the crap Anushka just give me the reason ya me jake Virat se baat karleti hon" Sheetal smirked playing her cards well and Anushka stared at him.

"You aren't going to do this" Anushka warned her.

"Don't try me" Sheetal challenged and Anushka frowned.

"I don't get it why you all are so stupid. Jiska jo dil chahta hai wo karta hai tumne socha bhi hai jo tum kar rahi ho uska kya impact hoga" Anushka asked frustrated.

"All I thought is you won't be there target any longer" Sheetal said unbothered.

"And who'll be their new target? Virat right. Sheetal one thing I know for sure is these media houses and social media warriors don't care about anyone; neither the one they're trolling nor the one they're defending. I am getting hate right now so it obviously mean whoever gets associated with me will be subjected to this hate. Here am asking my family to keep a distance so how can I pull Virat into this mess" Anushka said firmly.

"Well it's not necessary na ke hate hi mile" Sheetal said uncertainly.

Risking his image at this point means risking his career" Anushka said and team was rooted at their place seeing the girl standing infront of them.

"But tumhari life?" Anushka's reasons have finally shaken the determination in sheetal's voice.

"What's wrong in it. Jaisi thi waisi hi hai I mean Virat, my family, my friends and most importantly my career nothing is affected because of this. Sheetal samajh I have seen him suffering in these 4 months to just get back to field. Usne sab kuch stake par lagadiya even his own life just to clear his image just to be back in the game he loves the most. The dedication, the passion this man have for his game is unparalleled. And after all this when there's a hope that he'll get back to his normal I can't be the reason to delay or crush this chance. I will hate me for the rest of my life agar meri wajah se uska career affect hoa I can't do that Sheetal" Anushka said and Sheetal sighed defeated.

"I HATE YOU FOR THIS" Sheetal stated huffing and Anushka smiled.

"I know you can't." Anushka winked making Sheetal roll her eyes.

"Or jo bhi kuch horaha hai uska itna tension lene ki need nahi hai I mean I am not someone famous ke jiske naam ke saath ye controversy judi hi rahegi. Kuch din ki baat hai parson statement release hoga Virat ka they'll get a new topic to gossip on and sab move on hojaenge. Topic closed" Anushka said looking at team.

"Han lekin hum bhi to statement desakte hain na ke whatever rumors are going on sab jhoot hain" Mahi bhai finally speak up.

"Nahi abhi jo mene Virat ke liye bola it applies on you all as well" Anushka sighed.

"Nahi but hum to kar hi sakte hain na hamen to karna hi chahiye humare saath kya hoga" Rishabh said choking.

"Vi just faced all the accusations and he willingly loses you all just because he wanted to protect you all from this trolling and I am not letting you all jump into this trouble" Anushka said sternly.

"Ary par kuch hoga thori" Mahi bhai said.

"Mahi bhai apko pata hai how deep connections this racket had and how many people were a part of it. Police cops, board members and even Virat's own househelps once all this will unveil people can also blame team members to be associated with them as if we are unaware of that backstabbing type theories fans keep making" Anushka said and team looked at her shocked.

I am not reading the articles waise bhi I have a lot of work and then you all are a great distraction it's all manageable guys don't freak out please try to be normal" Anushka said turning towards Mahi bhai and Sheetal who sighed and Anushka excused herself as she saw a nurse approaching her.

"We don't know half of what she knows jab case ki baat karti hai kuch naya pata chalta hai" Mahi bhai said in deep thoughts.
