"You know.....you've been following your heart all this time and where has it gotten you?''

   Natasha Cordell bit her lower lip and didn't answer, mainly because she had no answer to give. Her father was right. She had followed her heart and her heart had left her unemployed, with no prospect on the horizon.

  Before she could offer herself an answer, her father Frederick Cordell spoke to give his own take on  the matter.

" Now if you marry Alexander Tanner..."

"You've got to be kidding me dad"

Natasha said snapping out of her thought cutting her father off before he could make a complete sentence.

" of course am not ''  Fred said sitting on one of the couch leisurely, everything is all packed up, you just lost your job, the family company is almost going down and there is nothing to do about it.

Natasha spun around " so what you are implying is that I have to marry Alexander Tanner  to save the company"  she said

" not only that, you have to do it fast"  her father added.

"I just don't believe this" she said breathlessly.

"I just don't believe this ''

And horrors upon horrors she could feel colour draining out of her face. Through out her twenty- eight years on planet earth her father had never depended on her, reverse had always been the case. She had lost her mom at a very tender age, ever since then her father had taken it upon himself to look after her by employing nanny after nanny to look after her, she stopped having nanies when she was ten years old this was because her father never realized that is lovely daughter had grown into a big girl.

       This was the first time her father was asking something of her and she isn't planning on refusing, even if it means marrying Alexander Tanner, though she had met him on few occasions, she knew he was one of the country's business tycoon and a well known millionaire ,apart from that he is a well celebrated celebrity. Handsome, check. He surely is 

" Okay'' Natasha said finally silently without give it another thought. " Am going to marry him father''.

" you dont know how glad I am to hear you say that'' Frederick said.

" Marry him I will, love him, forget it" she said persuasively trying to convince her father.

Frederick replied " you just might end up loving him" he said with a big grin on his face.
