I think it's best to break a 2 hour 7 minute long movie into groups so I can rate and explain them properly. P.S. This is going to include spoilers, so, sorry 'bout that.

We got to the theater and proceeded to talk like we were peculiar. My sis was Olive, and she just branded me Emma, so whatever. As we were talking peculiarly, I turned around to the rest of the line behind me. There was a little girl dressed as Olive who was like, 9 years old. So adorable!

Then we sat down, and I got super nervous.

Movie begins.

10/10 for visuals, stunt pieces, and SFX. That was amazing. Right on expectation level of a Hollywood movie, and the Tim Burton vibe running throughout.

10/10 for keeping the sickest rapping duo in Wales. Worm and Dylan, keep on rappin.

10/10 for all the casting except for the kids and wights. Really A-list names you had.

0/10 for the non-existent Ricky Pickering. We're thinking of you bro.

10/10 for the music. #onpar

11/10 for setting. Loved the house.

0/10 for Victor Bruntley for scaring the living crap out of me in the middle of the movie. The eyeless wonder pops up and in a high pitched voice announces(without his lips matching his voice), "Hi Jake, I'm Victor, do you wanna know how I died?" Legitly the most terrifying moment I've seen in a movie all year. 0/10 to Enoch for doing that to me.

10/10 for everything Horace does and says. Terrific job, Hayden! Especially for a relatively new actor!

10/10 for Ella Purnell for being a great actress and a good love-interest too!

11/10 for Finlay Macmillan. I think he said he watched a documentary on what happens to the body after it dies to prepare for the role. It doesn't take just anyone to sit through that. You got super into the role, and you're exactly like Enoch as to how you act to well, everyone. I hope you get more job offers!

5/10 for Asa Butterfield. I'm sorry if this isn't your normal cup of tea, but you're so uninspired-looking throughout the whole movie it set everything off. I give the 5 because there's a few good Jake scenes that are decent. And for devotion. Who could say they joined the navy to get back to their girlfriend? Not many, my friend. Not many.

8/10 for the twins. They're fun, but they are pretty much useless until the very end.

-10/10 for everyone's ages they ruined. Never getting over that.

0/10 for Miss Avocet's loop location. They live on a pier in 2016?!?! What? Why would you ever put a loop entrance right in a busy crossroads? It's just not smart.

10/10 for the wights dying. Bye Felicia!

0/10 for Millard's character development. Where's the map of days?

10/10 for the child actor's performances. It's hard to work at a young age, but they did a really good job.

All in all, I don't have that many complaints now that all is said and done. The whole plot was far from the book, and they put stuff from HC in there, but it's a good movie. I mean, if all else fails, just ignore, right?
