I AM IN THE MIDDLE OF A BAD SNOWSTORM

When I woke up we were floating in the air, magic waves all around us. I noticed that Natsu had held me on his back and was glaring more fiercely than ever, he even has his fists clenched under my thighs. I figured he would punch something if he doesn't know what is happening because his eyes showed just how confused he seemed. 

"Their magic is coming into our world," I said in his ear. My brown eyes looked into his black ones as I ignored the looks we got. The exceeds had all came forward to the sky as well, it seemed like anything that was magical was going back to Earthland with us.

"Whatever," he hissed at me. His eyes glanced at me as he laid himself back a bit to relax until we all were out of the ride. When we were back to Earthland though the exceeds had all begun to talk about why they had sent the eggs to our world.  Due to the Queen's power, she could see the exceed island destroyed so, in order to keep their species alive, she sent a hundred eggs to Earthland to protect them and lied about a mission to kill the Dragon Slayers to the other Exceeds. In the end, a grey female exceed had wanted to be my partner as an exceed who looked like a mini panther agreed to be Gajeels partner. 

We went back towards the guild hall that we have come to know as home, though I don't know what Natsu thinks of it. I'm just happy to be back and it was a relief that we were back in the world we belong in. I was wearing Natsu's cloak to keep myself warm and Natsu had flown up to the ceiling to sleep, and I would have joined him but I had just woken up from whatever sleep I was in. I don't need to over rest. 

"Lu?" I looked up to see Levy over me with her concerned hazel brown eyes. Her wild hair was on the tame side today. 

"Hm," I asked resting my head back on the table. My body was sore, and it felt as if my bones were going to break, I blame Natsu. 

"Master wanted you to help him get Chaos to participate in the S class trials for this year."

"What are the S class trials," I mumbled. Levy, Lisanna, and Mira had all sat at my table to tell me about the trials. 

 "It's an event that's held every year, where the Master selects the most prominent members to participate in a trial in order to be promoted to S-Class Mages," Lisanna said to me. Her blue eyes glanced at Mira and Erza briefly. 

"Every year the trial is different and the venue also. Current S-Class Mages also take part in the Trial, to increase the difficulty of the task and make the Trial even harder to complete," Levy shivered at the thought of having to fight any of the S class. "That is with the exception of Chaos because he hospitalizes anyone who goes near him."

"At least until you came along, Lucy," Lisanna chirped.

I nodded my head for a moment trying to understand why Natsu would have to go for that. "And why does Natsu have to be involved? Also, why do you guys ask me to ask him? Clearly, he doesn't want to participate."

"Chaos is the first in the guild to be promoted to be S class without having to be in the trials," Mira explained. "When he first came here he had taken out all the adults with one attack and Master felt that he would need to find a way to release his magic energy with going on harder jobs. So he had one of our S class members take him on an S class job and watch over him to make sure he would be fine."

I nodded as I listened to what Mira was saying. The other girls around the table all looked as if they would wet themselves at any moment, their eyes were glazed over as if remembering the day it had happened. "What happened?"

Mira sighed and it was Erza who stepped forward, she had apparently been behind me and I didn't sense her. "He came back with blood on his face, his eyes cold and blank as ever. It wasn't even his blood, it was the monsters. The mage who joined him is named Gildarts Clive and he didn't have to even help Chaos, but he still got attacked and had come back as if he took on another hundred-year quest when in reality the monster had hit him into many rocks. When he had gotten back up he saw that Chaos was finished the job." 

Erza glared down at me and sneered. Her hand flew into my hair and pulled me up off the ground like that, behind her I saw Natsu was stalking his way towards us. She reeled her fist back and shoved her pointer finger in my pained looking face. "Let me go, Scarlett or something bad is going to happen."

"Now why would I let go of Chaos's weakness?" She cackled as the other guild members had begun to back away in fear of Natsu. "I knew that all you wanted from him was sex, don't think I didn't catch Chaos calling you his mate," she hissed. She then threw me across the guild, but I was caught by Natsu. 

"Natsu has no weakness. He is strong and he won't let anything get in the way of what he wants. I may have mated with him but that doesn't make me his weakness. I am still his friend and I will continue to be his friend because I love him." Gasps were heard but I didn't care I just wanted to leave and never return back from here. Natsu had let me go and allowed me to walk away as he flew up to the rafters. "If you want him you have to try and take him, but don't think I won't fight what I want. While you all are going and train by going on missions, I will be here holding down the fort."

Master was watching the event with eyes that could look into a person's soul. I didn't care if anyone wanted me to go because I was pissed off and the small grey exceed, whose name was apparently named Shadow was in a cute outfit with a pink tie, followed me out. I really loved her pink eyes. 

When I reached home I saw Happy floating in front of my door, panic on his face. "Natsu is fighting in the guild!"

That was all I needed to hear before I sprinted off in the direction I came from. 

Natsu's P.O.V.

After Lucy left I jumped down from the rafters, the blue cat following me. I forgot his name, but I don't care because Red had pissed me the fuck off. As usual, the members of the guild had backed away in fear, all but that red fucking head. Maybe they are some fucked up crossdresser. 

She, maybe he, turned around with a satisfied smirk on their chapped lips until she noticed everyone had gone silent and made haste in looking for the reason why. The tiny grandpa had cast a rune around the two of us so that the others wouldn't get hurt. 

"Happy," tiny said towards the blue cat. "Get Lucy back here, I think she is the only one to calm him down." HAPPY! That's his name. Happy wasted no time in flying away from us and towards the door. 

"C-Chaos, ca-calm down," Red stuttered. "I didn't attack her, she came at me."

My glare intensified and my body was lit with blue flames all while I walked forward. My fist had hit its face, a satisfying crunch was heard upon impact. I wasn't going to use my magic it deserves every ounce of pain I give, but I was so fucking pissed my magic seeped out of my body. I had kicked them in the ribs, more cracking sounds filled the area. 

A sinister smile broke on my face as it unleashed a hundred swords and sent them at me, but I turned up the heat and the swords turned into soft metal. So when I kicked an attack at the swords they all broke. Fear splayed on her face as she tried to back away. 

"Let's just talk about this," Red whimpered. 

I let my magic go back into my body as I made it look like I was thinking. "Sure, let's talk about this."

Relief and surprise showed on their face, even the others in the room seemed to show the same emotions. "Thank you," Red breathed. 

"Let's talk like you and my woman did," I hissed. In a flash, I was in its face my hand in their hair like they had done to Lucy. Just as I was about to do anything more the smell of cinnamon rolls hit me like a train and immediately I relaxed a little punching the redhead in the ribs again. Their blood came out of their mouth and splattered on my face. 

"Natsu," I heard Lucy whisper. She was right beside me placing a soothing hand on my shoulder. "Let her go, she isn't worth getting worked up about." 

At the comment, my head snapped in her direction, glare still in place and in full force too. She flinched but she came closer to me, sliding her small and smooth hand down to my tightly clenched fist. I watched her as she worked her fingers their way around my hand forcing me to let the victim of my wrath go. When she was free I kicked her to the other side of the room at the edge of the runes, those things need to stay up until my anger is gone, I don't want to hurt Lucy by hurting them. 

"Natsu, she isn't worth getting angry about," she said softly. Her other hand came in contact with my face smoothing away my glare. Try as I might, I couldn't fight the calm she was placing me in. "She is just another person who thinks they need to have the best of the best. I don't care what she does to me."

"I do," I spat. Those hands worked their way into my hair lightly scratching the scalp of my head. "I do because you're mine."

Shock spread on her face, but she eased herself into a one-sided hug with me. Lucy began to sing a song. (Song above. Safe and Sound by Taylor Swift)

As she finished I was fully calm and I flew back up to my rafters getting my things before leaving back to our home. The two exceeds following behind us.
