A/N Hey guys! Episode 23 was so amazing! It made me happy just watching it. Especially the part where Eri smiled, and when Tamaki called Nejire a fairy 🥰

Her brain could not comprehend on what was unfolding right before her eyes.

"I've got to known you ten years ago. I didn't even know then you would be one of the greatest existence in my life."

The dark blue-haired man was kneeling on one knee before he, dark onyx eyes looking up at her azure eyes with an unwavering gaze.

"I'm not the best man out there, I realise I have many flaws. Too many flaws, even."

She had been covering her mouth since he got down, knowing the gist of what would happen, what he would say.

"But if you let me, I promise to cherish you for the rest of my life."

Her heart was ready to leap out of her chest in happiness, and she could feel her eyes starting to feel hot.

'No, no, no! Don't cry!'  She chanted in her mind.

Crying would make her vision blurry. She didn't want that.

She wanted to carve his expression into her brain.

He pulled out a small maroon box from his pocket and opened it, exposing a beautiful diamond ring for the world to see.

"Nejire, will you marry me?" 

She couldn't take it anymore-she blinked once, and a tear fell down from her right eye.

The heroine was certainly about to say yes, but she let out a wheeze instead.

Not the most attractive sound one could make, but what could she do about it? The lump in her throat was suffocating.

Besides, she wanted to say something before accepting his proposal.

He might-no, he should have known her answer already. It wouldn't hurt to make him wait a little longer.

Nejire took in a deep breath, and it worked.

She was finally calm enough to hold a proper conversation.

"I...I realised my feelings for you after you saved me back in first year." She started, her hands curling at her sides.

Tamaki stayed quiet, listening intently.

"You were at a position to abandon me. But you never did. Instead you turned back and rushed towards me, risking your life and saving mine."

She paused for a second, reminiscing the first time they properly interacted.

"Tamaki, you are...my saviour. You said that, you have too many flaws, but know that to me, you are perfect. And I can say with absolute confidence that, anyone cannot compare to you, because they are not you."

Nejire broke out into giggles when she saw Tamaki's expression shift from dead serious to genuine surprise.

He must not have anticipated her to go into that much depth. Her mouth broke into a wide smile as she offered him her left hand.

"I love you, Tamaki. I want to be with you forever." She exclaimed, slipping her hand into his.

He squeezed her hand lightly.

"Is that a yes?" He looked up, face content.

"Maybe." She giggled, unable to keep the river from flowing down her face as Tamaki slipped the small metal object onto her finger.

"I don't understand why you're  crying. You didn't spent 7 years longing, I did." He laughed stroking her head in a comforting way.

"But I love you now. And I've loved you for 3 of those 7 years." She managed to choke out.

Funny how those words could still make his face feel hot after all these years.

"This feels like a dream, you know?" She laughed quietly.

Without warning, he pulled her closer, making her yelp. But soon enough that yelp was muffled by his mouth, surprising her even more.

"...Does it really feel like a dream?" Tamaki asked after they parted, lips forming an innocent smile.

Nejire could only stare at him, dumbfounded, before whispering.

"If I say yes...will you do that again?" 

Tamaki only chuckled and repeated what Nejire told him earlier.

"Maybe."

A/N Ok that was corny. If you're wondering why I'm uploading on Monday, it's because I don't have school anymore -_-

This may sound weird but, I miss going to school. It's soooo boring being locked up in your house all day, all week. This took a while to upload because...if you haven't noticed it's twice the size of how much I usually write.
