Chappy 2
Hello, it's the author! Up there ^^ you have your outfit, I hope you like it- If not, it's fine! I didn't feel like using an outfit from the internet, so I drew one! Pretty much all the images you see will be drawn by me, and it won't be that many. However, I would personally love to see fanart if anybody decides to make some, and I'd also love to showcase it (with the artist's permission, ofcourse) in the book if any is made. Well, that's it for now, so, onto the chapter!!
~~
As you and the boy with white hair stood over the brown haired boy who passed out, you both shared looks of slight worry. The fall he took was pretty hard, and you were worried if he was okay.
As he opened his eyes, he looked between you and the boy next to you in confusion. Since you felt awkward, and no doubt he felt it too, you decided to speak up.
"You alright? You took a pretty hard fall when you did." You asked, a sympathetic look on your face. The boy looked at you for a few more seconds, a single bead of sweat forming and dropping on his forehead, before he muttered...
"...Leave me alone." You deadpanned at him.
"Seriously? We can't leave you alone, you just fucking fainted...!" You replied to him, worry evident in your voice.
"She's right, there's no way we can leave someone that pale alone..." The boy next to you voiced, as you took a step back, him doing the same.
"That rabbit thing said we're... on a tropical island." He said.
"Yeah, that's right." You stated back, before the three of you fell into an awkward silence.
"...How about some introductions. I haven't met the two of you yet," You started, getting their attention to your moving lips, "I'm (F/N) (L/N), Ultimate Body Modificationist, nice to meet you both." You smiled softly. The boy who was previously on the floor looked at you with slight confusion, while the boy with gravity defying, white hair stared at you with upmost adoration in his eyes.
"It's no wonder you got into Hope's Peak with such an amazing talent like that! With so many locations around the world and the money you get from it, it's...extrodinary!!" He praised you, grinning. You gave him a smile back.
"Thank you, thank you, it means quite a lot. Anyways, what about the two of you, your names and talents?" You asked them both, and the boy who had just prasied you had his smile falter.
"...I'm Nagito Komaeda. Nice to meet you." He said, with a smile and wave. "Ah, along with my introduction, I guess I'll also tell you about my talent so you know why Hope's Peak chose me....Well, even if I tell you, in my case, it's a prety dissapointing talent..." He trailed off.
"Oh, don't worry about it, we all got chosen for Hope's Peak, didn't we?" You dismissed him.
"Well...I'm lucky." He said, blantantly.
"...What're you talking about?" The boy who had passed out asked him.
"It's not a joke or anything, it's my actual talent. I'm the Ultimate Lucky Student... At least, that's what I'm called anyway." Nagito stated.
"Ultimate Lucky Student?" The other boy asked.
"Through a country-wide lottery, apparently only one ordinary student is selelcted at random to attend...also known as Hope's Peak Academy's Ultimate Lucky Student. And that lucky winner just so happened to be me." Nagito informed the both of you."It's not that impressive of a talent, I know. I never thought an average, talentless high school student like me would ever enter Hope's Peak Academy..." He commented dejectedly, making you shake your head.
"No, it's actually quite interesting. It's pretty unique, and luck is practically something your born with, in my opinion. It's not like you can get more and more lucky over time, so it's very captivating." You told him, hoping to get him out of his small spiral of self doubt.
"Well, uhm, what about you? Your name and talent?" You asked the other boy with the two of you, and he just looked at you sheepishly before letting out a chuckle.
"Yeah...I'm Hajime Hinata." He said.
"And what about your talent?" You prompted him further.
"Um...I..." He faltered, "I...I...I..." He kept opening and closing his mouth like a fish out of the sea (no pun). He started slightly shaking, and worry grew in you again.
"Hajime... What happened?" Nagito asked, to which Hajime only slightly moved his head up to meet his eyes.
"Ah... It's nothing...!" Hajime reassured you both, "I guess... I'm still pretty confused about all this... I'm having trouble remembering some things..." he said, which made you exhale.
"Oh, no worries. This situation isn't the best, so stress may have caused you to forget some stuff. It's not that bad." You reassured him with a soft smile, "You'll probably remember once we figure out what's going on here, don't worry."
"Yeah...you're right...thanks." Hajime thanked you.
"Then, I guess we're done with our introductions for now." Nagito interjected, bringing yours and Hajime's attention to him. Once he said that, a beeping noise could be heard, and Hajime panicked. He pulled his e-Handbook out of his pocket, looking at it confusedly. Nagito explained that Usami had passed them out earlier, and speaking of her, she eventually showed up too, to explain that the e-Handbook was, infact, very important to life on the island. The e-Handbook was used to gather Hope Fragments. As your relationship with every one of your classmates improves, the more Hope Fragments you'll gain. Achieving Hope Fragments was the whole point to the school trip, which, to you, sounded pretty stupid.
After she left, you took the liberty of speaking up.
"...How about we go meet the others? Hajime hasn't met them, and, well, neither have I." You offered, making Hajime look at you, confused.
"Huh? You haven't met them yet...?" He asked you, and you shook your head.
"No, I was waiting for you to wake up, I didn't want to leave you alone." You told him, and he looked away, embarassed. "Let's get going, shall we?"
--
"Well...where did everyone go?" Hajime asked you and Nagito, walking.
"Maybe they're exploring the island as well?", Nagito brainstormed, earning a confused hum from Hajima, "As long as we're expected to live on this island, we should learn as much as we can about it." Nagito answered, earning a sound of understanding from Hajime, before he turned to you.
"Hey...so, you're the Ultimate Body Modificationist, right?" He asked, which you gave an evident 'mhm' in response, "So uh, I hope you don't mind me asking, but...what does that...mean..." He finished. You giggled a bit.
"Oh, the name is kinda confusing, isn't it?" You chuckled before looking directly ahead where you were going, "It basically means I do tattoos and piercings. Nothing too special." You explained. It wasn't really the first time you had gotten that question, the name of your ultimate was actually pretty counterproductive and difficult to analyze. But, no harm in explaining, right? Especially when it's as something as simple and vague as tattoos and piercings.
"(F/N) is known as the Ultimate Body Modificationist, and her business is the most successful tattoo and piercing business the world has to offer. With many locations worldwide, her most successful are in Japan, North America, Mexico, and South Africa. Her execeptional attention to detail and natural artistic vision gave her such a natural talent for it designing and executing tattoos, not to mention her incredibly steady hand. She's known for tattooing infamous gangs and clans, one of them being the Crazy Diamonds. She tattooed all of their members in less than 24 hours, it's no wonder such an amazing ultimate like her would be accepted into Hope's Peak with a talent like that." Nagito praised you, and you sheepishly looked away. Jeez, you were pretty well known but you didn't expect someone to know that much about you. It felt very unnatural, but nonetheless, you honestly enjoyed.
"A-Ah, Thank you...! I didn't expect someone to know that much about me." You said, a small pink on your cheeks.
"Oh...I'm sorry. It must be very unsettling for someone as worthless as myself to know so much about such an astounding ultimate such as yourself..." Nagito degraded himself, and you waved your hands in front of yourself frantically.
"Oh no! Th-That's not what I meant! I just meant I haven't met someone who knew that much about me or what I do...it's quite impressive, actually." You told him, to which he laughed.
"Well, to be honest, before we came here, I did some research on everyone. I didn't learn everything but...I'm pretty sure I can provide you both with some helpful info." Nagito told you both, "Speaking of which, we're somewhere already."
You looked up and and saw the exterior of what was an airport. The airport structure was one that came easily to your memory, as you had traveled for most of your life. Going inside, you noticed two other people, but you were more focused on what was behind them.
"So, this is an airport. The things over there no doubt are..." You thought, before you heard Hajime's voice.
"...Airplanes?" He inquired, "Couldn't we use those planes to escape?"
"Nah, that's impossible." A new voice said, bringing your attention to it. It was the boy with pink hair, a yellow jumpsuit, and a black beanie. "If they were damaged, I could fix 'em, but it looks like these planes are just for show..." He said.
"Just for show...?" Hajime asked him.
"The engines have been completely removed. Nothing I can do about that." He stated, scratching his jawline with his finger.
"He must be a mechanic of some sort of he says that..." You hypothisized, before speaking.
"We don't even have a way to work them...? Damn, they're just teasing us, huh." You said, before the pink haired boy turned to you, a lightbuld going off above his head.
"Oh yeah, that reminds me... I haven't introduced myself to you guys yet, right?" He asked, both you and Hajime nodding.
"Name's Kazuichi Soda. I'm the Ultimate Mechanic. Nice to meet ya!" He said, with a thumbs up and a toothy grin, showing off his irregular shark teeth.
"So I was right about him being a mechanic..." You thought to yourself, pleasantly surprised that you were right. You looked back at him and smiled.
"As expected from someone called the Ultimate Mechanic, Kazuichi is a savant when it comes to fixing machines. If he says it's impossible to fix this plane, it's truly beyond repair." Nagito told the both of you. As Nagito, Kazuichi, and Hajime got into a conversation about how the egines being removed from the airplanes was planned, you couldn't help but agree. However, it wasn't like they were forcing you to do anything dangerous, as Kazuichi explained it was part of the island regulations. You hadn't had time to look at the regulations yet, but that was because you were more focused on on making sure Hajime was okay when he woke up, and now you were focusing on introductions.
"Heh-heh! If you stare closely at that strange-lookin' bunny girl, she might start lookin' kinda cute!" Was the last thing you heard Kazuichi say, before you brought your attention back to the three of them. "But uh..what're you guys names?" He asked you and Hajime, and that's when you remembered you hadn't even introduced yourself.
"(F/N) (L/N), Ultimate Body Modificationist, great to meet you." You smiled back at him, and you swear you could see starts form in his eyes.
"I'm Hajime Hinata, and I can't seem to remember my ultimate talent right now..." Hajime said, sheepishly scratching the back of his neck.
"Hey, no worries dude!" Kazuichi reasurred him.
"We should keep going, we still have more people to meet." You said to Nagito and Hajime, before turning your attention to Kazuichi, "Again, nice to meet you, Kazuichi." You said with a soft smile.
"N-No problem (F/N)! See ya around!" He said, before the rest of you started moving to the other person in the airport, and wow, was he a sight to be seen. With a long coat, a bandage wrapped around one of his arms, a purple scarf, one grey eye and one red eye, accompanied by a scar on his eye, he was truly a sight.
As you, Hajime, and Nagito started approaching him, he quickly noticed your presance and started speaking before the three of you even made it all the way to him.
"Stop right there. If you value your life, do not come any closer." He declared, making you all stop.
"I don't value my life." You thought with a monotone expression.
"Hmph, I said stay back! Oh, very well...I shall accept the courage of you both." He observed, while Hajime looked at him with a bead of sweat going down his forehead.
"Kehehe, would you like to know my name?" He inquired of you both.
"Yes. Yes, we would." You stated clearly, hoping to get to the point.
"Ah, it seems you have possesed such great courage that you must know the name of the dark one. Listen well, as in honor of your courage, I shall reveal to you my name. May you never forget it as long as you live!" He said.
"You may call me...Gundam Tanaka! Remember it well, for it is the name that will one day rule this world!" He bellowed. It seems as if this 'Gundam' was kind of an odd case. Ruling the world? Is he actually serious? You sighed, opting to introduce yourself rather than question him further.
"I'm (F/N) (L/N), the Ultimate Body Modificationist, and this is Hajime Hinata, who can't remember his talent." You said, gesturing to both yourself and Hajime, who seemed too confused to say anything.
"I have not heard of such a talent as that, hmph, Ultimate Body Modificationist, very intruiging..." He remarked, looking down with a slight smirk on his face, before looking back up to meet both yours and Hajime's eyes.
"Now then, it is my turn to ask the questions. Whose master are you?" He asked you both.
"Eh...?" Hajime muttered, confused. Not like you weren't, either.
"Which tribe did you make your pact with? Answer me!" He bellowed once again, and Hajime voiced even more confusion.
"Answer me now! Though I shall cast you into a watery grave once you do!" He ordered of the two of you.
"I think he's asking...if you used to have a pet..." Nagito translated for you and Hajime, and you let out a small 'Ah' in understanding.
"...Pet?" Hajime asked, "No...the only animal I've taken care of was a hermit crab we passed around in elementary school." He explained.
"So, a mere insect!" Gundam noted, "Hah! Your Magic Essance caps at a lowly five! Trash!" he finsished, causing a small outburt between him and Hajime.
"Hmph! Is it wrong to call trash 'trash'? Trash like you should not dare to speak to one as grand as me!" He stated, before looking at you. "And what about you, who's master are you!?" He asked of you.
"Oh, well, I didn't exactly have a pet. But, I always took care of stray animals that ended up infront of my locations. Most commonly, they were dogs and cats, sometimes a few reptiles when I was in Mexico." You explained, slightly shifting your eyes to the side. Gundam, however, was looking at you with his mouth agape.
"So you have taken care of multiple, but never once had became a master. Hmph, I have never heard of such a thing..." He muttered again, eye's filled with...adoration? You had no clue.
"...Well we should get going now, we have others to meet. But, uh, thank you for this...introduction. We'll see you around." You told Gundam.
"Hmm, very well, I shall let you mortals off!" He replied, with extravagant hand gestures, as you, Hajime, and Nagito made your way out of the airport.
"Well...he sure was a...character..." Hajime started, nervously, which Nagito laughed in response.
"Don't worry about Gundam. I know he seems a little odd, but apparently he did splendidly as a member of the Breeding Club. What do you think, (F/N)?" Nagito asked you, to which you hummed.
"Well, I think he's a good guy, but yeah, he's just different. If anything, I'm just thinking about how they put the planes in the background, but no way to utilize them. It's like they gave us false hope." You stated dejectedly, but looked up when you realized you were in front of a location called 'Rocketpunch Market'. As the three of you walked inside, you really took in account of how huge the store was.
"Thanks to this place, we won't have to worry about food for a while." Nagito commented, to which Hajime asked him to elaborate, as they both got into a conversation about the supermarket itself. That's when you noticed the girl with choppy purple hair, a nurse apron, and a bandage around her forearm looking at the three of you, mostly you.
When Hajime and Nagito stopped their conversation and noticed the shy girl, the three of you made your way to her. As she noticed the three of you approaching her, she jut continued to mutter, before...
"I-I'm sorry!" She stammered, beginning to tear up.
"Bullying a girl... Not cool, Hajime." Nagito commented towards Hajime, who was panicking.
"Hi...I'm sorry, we're here to introduce yourselves." You said to the timid girl, ignoring the small bickering between Hajime and Nagito.
"A-Ah, okay... M-My name is Mikan Tsumiki. Um... From the bottom of my heart, I hope we can get along." She said, small sweat beads forming on her forehead.
"I'm (F/N) (L/N), Ultimate Body Modificationist, and that's Hajime Hinata, who can't remember his talent at the moment. Nice to meet you, Mikan." You smiled
"Oh, so your names are (F/N) and Hajime... If it's okay with you, may I please remember your names?" She asked you, which you found quite odd, but agreed nonetheless.
"Um..you know..." She started, "Um...um um um um..." She stammered.
"Uhhhh...my mind is drawing a blank...from nervousness..." She said, and you could understand where she was coming from.
"Oh, it's alright! No worries." You reassured her, and she looked at you with slight tears forming in the corners of her eyes, but also a sense of safety as she looked at you.
"Oh...b-but I went through all the trouble of preparing 5,000 different topics to discuss after introductions!" She cried out.
"Five...thousand? That seems a bit...excessive. Well, she seems like an introvert, I can't blame her." You thought, before turning your attention back to Mikan. Nagito tried to reassure her, but it only made her worse. Nagito also told you and Hajime that Mikan is the Ultimate Nurse, and that if we ever got injured, we would go to her for help. So, it was best to stay on her good side.
"Heh heh, hehehe...!" Mikan laughed, and you turned your attention to her.
"Ah! I-I'm sorry for laughing so suddenly!" She apologized, "I-It's just...I can't help it. I'm just so happy, I can't remember the last time I made any friends..." You couldn't help but smile at her, but that smile faltered once she started doubting you and Hajime, saying that you wouldn't actually want to be friends with someone like her, so, you decided to interrupt her before she could go any further.
"N-No! I actually wouldn't mind being friends with you...!" You reassured her, and she looked back, eyes with shock.
"You...you do?" She asked, and you nodded.
"That's...That's so nice of you!" She exclaimed, and you only laughed. However, then she started to doubt Hajime, and you couldn't help her with that situation.
"Well... we'll see you later, Mikan. Hajime and I still have people to meet." You told her, as you, Nagito, and Hajime moved to the next isle to see the girl with pink and blue dyed hair, horns, and multiple piercings on her ears, along with three piercings on her mouth. You already took a liking her.
"Peeking, peeking..." She said as she was looking through the island, before she noticed the three of you, "Oh haiiiiiiiiiiiiii! Who're you!?" She asked, very enthusiastically.
"Um... I'm Hajime Hinata..." Hajime said, before being cut off by the girl's enthusiastic voice.
"Hellooooo? Your tension is super low! Are you feeling all right?" She asked Hajime, who only got more confused.
"Ah, that's right! Introductions are a go-go!" She realized, before shifting her weight, making her stand in a stance similar to a penguins', "'I,' 'Buki,' 'Mio,' 'Da!' Put it together and what do you get? Ibuki Mioda!" Wow, was she energetic. But, you only laughed at her antics, before introducing yourself.
"(F/N) (L/N)! Ultimate Body Modificationist, nice to meet ya'." You told her, smiling.
"All right, introductions are finished! More importantly, check out this bombastic supermarket!" Ibuki pointed at the stand next to her, "They got hamburger, ramen noodles, chili beans, bratwurst, pasta... Ooooh, melons!" She noted, before sticking her nose up proudly in the air.
"Americans, Chinese, Mexicans, Germans, Italians...and even people from Yubari shop here! Man, I'm getting hellaaaaaa stoooked! I'm thirty-one flavors of stocked for all of this deliciousness!" She said, practically jumping up and down. "And when I'm excited, I get hungry-mungry. I-I don't understand it myself... Why do I get hungry when I'm excited? Why do I get excited when I'm hungry?" She battled herself. Honestly, you wish you were like her in that sense. It often took you a lot to get hungry, you basically breathed energy drinks and iced coffee. (bisexual culture, amirite)
"Kyahaha, the human body sure is a mystery!"
"Um... This energetic young lady is known as the Ultimate Musician..." Nagito started, bringing yours and Hajime's attention away from Ibuki. "She used to play guitar in an all-girl band that was super popular with the other high school girls. Apparently, their hit single, "After School Poyoyon Hour", would over a million copies. But, due to creative differences, Ibuki left the band due to creative differences, and pursued a solo career."
You glanced over at Ibuki, who was staring at the shelves, practically jumping with joy once again.
"Well, nice to meet you Ibuki. Nagito, Hajime, and I are going to go meet more people." You told her, as she turned to face you with a happy expression.
"Aww, bye-bye!!" She waved you off, as the three of you left the supermarket. It seems that so many people on this island are of such an interesting character, and you had really only met six!
You all walked to you next location, which seemed to be a hotel.
"Wow...this is a pretty nice hotel...!" Hajime said, and you couldn't help but agree. It had a white exterior, with the words 'Hotel Mirai' written in a coppery-gold type of color. There were also multiple cabins, presumably one for each person on the island.
"The Hotel Mirai, huh? It looks like it's named for the Japanese word for 'future'." Nagito pointed out. "When we were told we were gonna live on this island, I was worried we were gonna have to pitch a tent or something. If we can live in a grand hotel like this, I don't think we'll have to worry about being comfortable."
Honestly, under better circumstances, you would no doubt agree with him. The island seemed, overall, tranquil. The supermarket had vast necesites, and this hotel seemed very fancy. The airport was, well, an airport, with planes that couldn't be worked, and you hadn't even seen the rest of the island. But, comfort wasn't really an option, none of you knew why you were being forced to live on an island in the first place. As Hajime and Nagito got into another bicker, you opted to interrupt.
"Well, it seems that this area seems nice, so why not look around? We may find more people that Hajime and I haven't met." You suggested, to which they agreed.
There was a pool accompanying the hotel, and vast cottages, split in half by a pathway. Each cottage had a mailbox, and each cottage also had a pixelated picture of everyone on the island. It seemed that the cottages were split up between boys and girls, like any average school trip where the teachers thought something would happen. Overall, it was actually a very nice living area.
However, you noticed the buff guy from inside the classroom near the pool, so naturally, you told Nagito and Hajime about it so you could introduce yourself.
"Hm...?" He mumbled when the three of you approached him, "Oh, that's right... You haven't told me your name..." He realized, turning towards the three of you, clutching his own knuckles.
"My name... I am the Ultimate Team Manager, NEKOMARU NIDAI!!!" He exclaimed, startling you and Hajime, but leaving Nagito unphased.
"U-Um...hello. I'm Hajime Hinata..." Hajime said, but then got interrupted by Nekomaru.
"Hold it right there! Your voice is too soft! Let your voice rise from the bottom of your stomach!" He ordered of Hajime, who tried again, yet it wasn't enough to please Nekomaru. He tried yet another time before he turned his attention to you, who hasn't said anything.
"AND YOU!! Who're you!?" You mentally prepared yourself to make your voice loud, but not loud enough the dead people would hear, as you didn't want that type of attention draw to you.
"I am (F/N) (L/N)! Ultimate Body Modificationist! Pleased to meet you!!" You pronounced leaving him satisfied first try, much to your pleasure.
"Ahaha, very good! I AM NEKOMARU NIDAI! Don't forget it, even if you go to hell! I am the Ultimate Team Manager, NEKOMARU NIDAI!!!"
"Y-You don't need to repeat your name so much. We won't forget it..." Hajime stammered, most likely shaken up from Nekomaru's boisterous voice.
"Nekomaru Nidai is known as the Ultimate Team Manager." Nagito started, which left Hajime to ask if he only managed a team, making Nagito remind him that he wasn't just a team manager, but an Ultimate. "He's traveled to numerous towns and played an active role in various sports clubs managing their teams. For instance, he led some high school rugby team full of delinquents to victory in the national play-offs... He also rescued a baseball club on the very verge of being shut down, leading them to victory as well..."
"Rumor has it he's even training that famous Japanese pitcher who plays in the American Legue." Your eyes snapped towards Nagito's last sentence, however, doing so gave you a pretty big head ache, as you covered your forehead with your palm, slightly writhing from the pain.
"W-Woah...(F/N), you okay?" Hajime asked you, slightly crouching down to your now hunched form.
"Y-Yeah...just some slight head pain, nothing I can't move past. I-I'm fine, d-don't worry." You told him.
"Gah-hahaha! The rumor's true! He's a very worthy player who—" He stopped, before looking straight at you, more specifically, at your neck. "H-Hold on!! That's his!" Nekomaru pointed at your lock necklace, as you wrung it around your pointer finger.
"Uh, yeah! I guess it would be." You chuckled, fiddling with the necklace.
"Hmm, so you knew him!" He proclaimed, making you give a 'yes' in response. "He was a great player with lots of potential. But he didn't want to play!!! I kept encouraging him to keep on playing cause he has some of the most talent I've seen, but he kept telling me he wanted to pursue music." Nekomaru said, sticking his finger in his ear.
"I honestly found it cool how we wanted to pursue music...! Despite his great talent with baseball, it was admirable how he actually wanted to do something he was interested in." You responded, remembering the memories you had with said athlete.
"Hmm, so that's how you see it... You must've been a pretty important person to him if he gave you that necklace!!! He always wore it wherever he went." Nekomaru pointed out.
"I-I guess you could say that... I wonder where he is now..." You trailed off, before looking at Nekomaru once again. "We should get going, Hajime and I still have people to meet. Nice to meet you, Nekomaru." You said, waving him off with a smile.
"Ahaha! Until we meet again!" He bellowed, before you, Hajime and Nagito started to walk.
"So you knew the guy he was talking about, (F/N)...?" Hajime asked you.
"I mean, yeah, I guess. I don't really remember much about him though, which kinda sucks, he was a great guy...I think..." You said, murmuring the last sentence while looking off to the side, unknowingly slowing down while still fiddling with the lock.
You noticed Hajime and Nagito ahead of you, near another person. Specifically, the shorter boy with a shaved head, two stripes on the side, and a pinstripe suit. Noticing you were falling behind, you slightly walked faster while keeping your attention to the distance.
"...Who the hell are you? Don't talk all friendly and shit, dumbass." He swore at Hajime, not noticing you lagging behind.
"R-Relax, Fuyuhiko. They're only here to introduce themselves." Nagito said, waving his hands out.
"Huh? Who the fuck is 'they'." The so-called 'Fuyuhiko' asked of Nagito, before turning his attention to behind Hajime, noticing your slowly approaching figure.
"Sorry for lagging behind." You apologized to Hajime and Nagito, who just dismissed you, saying it was fine. Now, you didn't know if 'Fuyuhiko' already had a permanent blush on his cheeks, but if he did, it grew darker once he looked at you, but you didn't notice it. His eye's scanned up and down your now still figure as you fiddled with you necklace once more, before his eyes turned back to yours and Hajime's.
"See? It's them. You guys haven't been properly introduced yet, right?" Nagito asked
"Hmph..." He started, "Name's Fuyuhiko Kuzuryu... Just so we're clear, I don't plan to act friendly and shit with you guys. He said, crossing his arms and looking away.
"How the hell is someone with a baby face this fucking rude? Jesus... I'm not one to judge appearances though. Some of the kids I've pierced are hell reincarnated."You thought to yourself.
"Well uh, I'm Hajime Hinata." Hajime said, reluctantly.
"And I'm (F/N) (L/N), Ultimate Body Modificationist, nice to meet you." You said, a soft smile playing on your lips.
"Fuyuhiko is a high school student and heir to the Kuzuryu Clan." Nagito stated.
"Eh? The Kuzuryu Clan... Don't tell me he's—!?" Hajime panicked.
"I'm sure you've at least heard of them before, right?" Nagito asked, "The Kuzuryu Clan is the largest criminal syndicate in the nation, with a membership surpassing 30,000. Which means...he's the Ultimate Yakuza." He told you both. Hajime was practically sweatdropping profusely, as he looked at you.
"H-How are you not—!" Hajime 'asked' you, confused at how you weren't scared towards Nagito's information about Fuyuhiko. You sighed, shaking your head.
"Hajime, I want you to ask me that question again, but this time, remember my Ultimate and what I do for a living." You asked of him, although he still looked confused, "Now remember what Nagito told you about me? About what I'm mostly known for?" You asked of him again, this time it seemed to work, as he let out a small 'oh' before going red in slight embarrassment. You turned your attention back to Fuyuhiko, who seemed to be eyeing you already, more specifically, your figure.
"Um...hello?" You prompted, to which he looked at your face before speaking.
"...Why are you dressed like a whore?" Fuyuhiko asked, taking you back completely.
"Uh, excuse me?" You replied, now feeling insecure. What you were wearing wasn't even that bad! It was a simple black top with lace decal decorating the bottom, and most of the actual top. You also wore a jean skirt stopping a little past your mid thigh, accompanied by some fishnets, and a pair of black boots. You also had a jacket made of sweatshirt-like material, stopping slightly below your skirt length. Lastly, you had a black choker with a metal circle in the middle, the lock necklace Nekomaru pointed out to you earlier, and the regular piercings you wore on a daily basis. No one could even see your naval piercing or tongue piercing if they tried hard enough!
"You heard what I fucking said, bitch." Fuyuhiko retorted back, as you laughed bitterly, taking your arms to slightly cover up.
"Wow, well aren't you a doll." You seethed at him.
"Who the hell are you calling a fucking doll!?" He angrily said back, "I'm not a fucking doll you bitch!!"
"Maybe I wouldn't have mistaken you for one if you were taller than me." You voiced, pretty annoyed with the Yakuza's comments.
"Y-You—!!!" He seethed, clenching his fist to the point it was almost white, his face getting a noticeable red in anger.
"H-Hey...we should go now, you guys still have more people to meet." Nagito said, standing inbetween you too. You complied, walking away from the Yakuza. You sighed in exasperation, not liking the comments he gave you.
"Sorry about that (F/N), he's just like that, don't take it to heart." Nagito tried reassuring you.
"Yeah, yeah..." You muttered, his comments still fresh in your mind, most likely packing up and planning to stay a whole vacation there. You brought your head up, noticing you were all approaching a red-headed girl with a camera slung around her body, most likely her Ultimate.
"Hey, aren't you the guy who was squatting on the beach earlier and burying your face in your arms?" She said to Hajime, who was not ready for the straight confrontation.
"U-Uhm...yeah." He muttered, not proud of what he admitted to.
"Hey...you gotta keep it together, you know? At times like this, it's the boys' job to keep the girls safe, you got that?" She ordered of Hajime, who agreed silently.
"And you!" She said at you, "Why did you stay with him? He's the one supposed to be keeping us safe." She asked of you.
"Well, if the guys can't take care of the girls, who's gonna take care of them?" You said back, a small giggle accompanying your statement.
"Oh, I guess you're kind of right then..." She said at you, "Did you guys want me to introduce myself? I haven't done it yet, right?" She asked, making you and Hajime nod.
"Let's see... I'm Mahiru Koizumi. I'll be counting on you from now on." She introduced.
"(F/N) (L/N), Ultimate Body Modificationist. Nice to meet you." You said, a content look on your face.
"And I'm Hajime Hinata..." Hajime said after you.
"Mahiru is known as the Ultimate Photographer. She has a promising future as a photojournalist." Nagito said to you and Hajime, "I'm not an expert on photography but I hear she's a young photographer who has won numerous awards. On that note...she's known for her skill at taking pictures of people."
"Honestly, I'm a little relieved. You guys seem decent enough." She commented at the three of you.
"Hm, decent?" Hajime asked.
"Well, there are a lot of weirdos here. I can't tell if they're really Ultimates or, like, just insane..." Mahiru said, and you couldn't help but slip out a small chuckle.
"Honestly, I think it might be a small mix of both." You said, making Mahiru also chuckle at your statement.
"That's right...! Honestly, I was eager to get along with everyone so we can get off this island, but I was worried things wouldn't go well." She voiced, making Hajime ask about what she meant. She said that it was what Usami has been saying about the Hope Fragments. It was the same thing the rabbit had told you on the beach when Hajime first woke up. Hajime got surprised when he realized Usami really wasn't lying, leaving Mahiru to scold at him for not paying attention. However, Nagito took the responsibility of calming Hajime down.
"Thanks for the introduction, Mahiru," You said to the photographer, smiling softly, "But we should get going now. Hajime and I still haven't met everyone."
"Okay, I hope to see you soon." She said as she waved you off, making your way with Hajime and Nagito to the interior of the hotel.
"Even the inside of this place looks grand, too." Nagito started, as Hajime voiced his concerns about being the only ones alone on the island. However, for an uninhabited island, the hotel looked very well kept, as did everything else you'd seen so far.
You, Hajime and Nagito approached a female with silver braids, and piercing red eyes. She had what looked to be a sword strung across her back.
"...State your business." She demanded of you and Hajime.
"We just wanted to introduce ourselves, is that all right with you...?" Hajime asked of the female.
"Hm, and introduction... Understood, I don't mind." She said, before meeting both your guys eyes.
"My name is Hajime Hinata, nice to meet you." He said.
"And I'm (F/N) (L/N), Ultimate Body Modificationist." You said as well.
"My name is Peko Pekoyama. It is nice to meet you both, too." She said.
"This dignified-looking woman is known as the Ultimate Swordswoman." Nagito started, "It's hard to believe that someone with a cute name like Peko Pekoyama could be so skilled with a blade. I've heard she's a kendo master and that most adult men don't even stand a chance against her." He explained, as you looked back at Peko, who already seemed to be looking at you. You really hoped it wasn't going to be another encounter like Fuyuhiko's, but luckily, she didn't. She only talked about what Usami had asked of everyone.
"It is necessary for men and women who live together to respect each other. Don't try anything inappropriate..." She asked of Hajime, and most likely Nagito too. They both agreed, and you felt a small surge of relief pass through you. "I would prefer...not to kill anyone." She said, and you widened your eyes only a few millimeters, before reverting back to normal. Hajime, however, was very shocked at her statement.
"U-Uh...(F/N)?" He asked you, which you sighed.
"...Yeah. She's kinda right, y'know." You said, taking Hajime back more.
"Wh-What the hell does that mean!?" He panicked, and you only sighed once more.
"Thank you for this introduction, Peko. But, Hajime and I still have other to meet." You said to the Swordswomen.
"All right then, goodbye." She said to you, not taking her eyes off you as you moved to the other side of the hotel lobby.
There was another girl sitting down at a table, seeming completely engrossed in a video game.
"Hajime, (F/N), you guys haven't properly introduced yourself to her, right?" Nagito asked to the both of you, which you nodded.
"Um, excuse me? We'd like to introduce ourselves..." Hajime tried getting the attention of the girl, who gave no response.
"...Hey, Chiaki?" Nagito said loudly, making you jump in surprise.
"Oh, sorry... I must've been...a little too focused on my game." She said, turning to meet you and Hajime.
"Let's see... Oh, right, introductions. Got it." She realized, turning to meet you once again. "I'm Chiaki Nanami, the Ultimate Gamer. Video games are my hobby, and I'm a fan of all genres." She paused, "Nice to meet you."
"I'm Hajime Hinata..." Hajime said.
"And I'm (F/N) (L/N), Ultimate Body Modificiationist. Nice to meet you too."
"Yeah, totally." She said
"Well, this conversation seems to be going rather slow..." Hajime muttered, making Nagito laugh.
"Well, she is gaming right now..."
"It's more like..." Chiaki paused, "I'm the kind of person who has to gather my thoughts before I can I can start talking." She said, and you honestly understood her completely. "Like, I can't talk that well unless I've already prepared everything I want to say in my head... Especially when I'm meeting new people... Well, if I get used to them, I can usually talk a little faster." She explained all that while not once looking at you, Hajime, or Nagito. She was completely engrossed by her game.
She yawned, "I'm sleepy...". You, Hajime, and Nagito took that as your que to leave, as you went upstairs to the second floor of the hotel. It turned out to be a restaurant, and there were two people already having a conversation as you made your way up the stairs.
"So...this is the hotel restaurant..." You said in slight awe. The restaurant was extremely big.
"It's enormous. We could easily hold a banquet here. It has this tropical, open country feeling." Nagito added, and you couldn't help but agree.
"Open...? But we're still stuck on this island." Hajime asked.
"He probably just means the atmosphere of the restaurant, Hajime." You told him, hoping he understood.
"Yeah, but let's finish introducing ourselves first. Look there are two people talking over there." Nagito stated, and you looked towards the two people who were already having a conversation.
One of them was the smaller male, who was wearing a chef outfit. He also had a croissant like hair, with two small braids on the side. The other was a taller female, with long blonde hair, and sparkling blue eyes. She was wearing a green dress, and a black bow sat atop her head, on her braided hair crown she had. Honestly, you were apprehensive about interrupting their conversation, as it was deemed rude.
Welll...that was until you actual heard their conversation.
"That's right... I'm having a hard time because it's full of poison. It really sucks." The smaller man said, "Speaking of which, it'd be great if you could use your mouth to suck it out..." Your eyes widened to the size of saucers.
"HEYY- Hi, hello, uhm, do you two have a moment?" You said loudly, hoping to stop their conversation any further, as you quickly made your way to them.
"Woah...deni-" The boy started, but quickly stopped once he looked at you, blood seeming to dribble out of his nose at an alarmingly fast pace, "Oh, of course. We have all the time in the world..." He eyed your figure up and down. You felt, in short terms, disgusted.
"Hello, it is nice to meet you." The female said, and you gave her one of your warmest smile.
"Hi, I'm (F/N) (L/N), the Ultimate Body Modificationist, and this is Hajime Hinata, it's nice to meet you as well." You introduced, still keeping your warm smile.
"Why, hello there. You two must be the new people," The shorter man said, bringing your attention to him, "My name is Teruteru Hanamura. On the streets, I'm known as the Ultimate Cook... But could you guys call me the Ultimate Chef instead? It has more of a...big-city flavor to it, ya know?" He said. "Mmhmhm, I hope we get along well...very well." He added, raking over your body once more.
"Oh, that reminds me, I have not properly introduced myself either. I am terribly sorry to keep you waiting!" The other female said, taking away your attention from the small chef. You mustered up another smile.
"Oh, please don't apologize," You replied to her, "Seeming as if you were in a...conversation..." You slightly eyed Teruteru, "And it was rude of me to interrupt, so I should be the one apologizing. I'm sorry." You said to her, an apologetic smile on your face.
"Oh no, nonononono, we had absolutely no problem with you interrupting..." Teruteru said, while you just opted to ignore him.
"Please, do not apologize! I still have yet to introduce myself," The female asked of you, straightening up and also putting a smile on her face, "My name is Sonia Nevermind. I am a foreign exchange student from a small European kingdom called Novoselic. I may cause trouble here and there, but I hope we can get along well."
"Well, nothing but small trouble is always a little fun, don't worry about it! I can sure as hell handle it." You giggled, and she laughed along with you. Sonia had already seemed to create a warm atmosphere with you, and she liked you already. However, Hajime was just sharing at you interactions with Sonia. You heard Nagito explain that that Sonia is the Ultimate Princess, making her actual royalty.
"Um, this may be rude of me to say, but...truthfully, I feel very happy." She said.
"Well, why would that be rude? If anything, I'm happy that you feel that way, especially considering these circumstance." You asked of her, but genuinely glad she was happy. Maybe it was the conversation she was originally having with Teruteru, but you felt the need to be nice to her.
"In my home country, I...did not have a single friend my age whose standing in society matched my own." She explained, and you felt a twinge of nostalgia come from your inside, "So, to be able to do something like this with everyone is a new experience for me..."
"Hey, it's alright...! If it's any consolation, I had somewhat the same problem before I came here. But, now that you're here, you don't have to worry about it!" You told her, a bright smile on your face, bringing one to hers too. Even though she was the Ultimate Princess, she couldn't help but be attracted to your essence. The way you smiled and the way you kept a conversation with her, despite it being quite short, she had felt she already grew drawn to you, and wanted to get to know you more.
"I thank you for your kind words! And with that... I promise to extol your virtues." She proclaimed.
"Ah, why thank you. I'm sure we'd appreciate it." You smiled at her.
"H-Hey, you four," Teruteru started, "am I being left off the menu or something?"
Nagito laughed, "Oh Teruteru, it's so like you to check out the restaurant first. As the Ultimate Chef, do you like it?"
"Mmhmhm...I would be lying if I said I wasn't interested." He said, "And since I do not want to be a liar, I can say... Yeah, I like it. Though I like the big-city flavor of my hometown, a country atmosphere like this is also splendid." He stated, being brought into a conversation by Hajime about being 'refined' and 'cultured', most likely in ways of food, being the Ultimate Chef. However, he also seemed to not be worried about the current situation.
"Now, about that poison..." You heard Teruteru mutter. Quickly and suddenly, you turned around to meet Sonia's eyes.
"AH- um, Sonia, honey?" You uttered, and she turned toward you with a hum, "Can you please promise me you won't do anything about the, erm...poison?" You asked of her, worried if she actual would.
"But if I do not do something, it could be fatal!!" She exclaimed, worry in her eyes.
"Actually, now that I think about it..." Teruteru muttered, making yours and Sonia's head drift towards the Ultimate Chef, "I feel that (F/N)'s mouth might be better suited to get the poison out of my loins." He said, nose dripping with blood once again. Hajime now realized what 'poison' meant from earlier, his eyes widened.
"(F/N), would you please help him!? He needs to get the poison out of his loins before it could prove fatal to him, please!" Sonia pleased, clasping her hands together.
"I-" You stammered, looking back and forth between her face, Teruteru's, and Hajime's. Nagito seemed very unfazed. You sighed, looking back at Sonia.
"...Yes, I will...help him..." You muttered, as Hajime distorted his face into one of more horror, Teruteru had blood dripping out of his nose even faster, and Sonia had grown a smile on her face, "however, Hajime and I still have other people to meet so I might have to do it...later..." You explained, hoping to get out of this situation as soon as you could.
"Of course...! Promise you won't wait to long." She ordered of you.
"Yes, Sonia, of course. But please promise me you won't do anything?" You asked of her, whispering a small 'please', as she nodded, agreeing to not do anything.
"Yes yes, well, come back soon, I don't know how much longer I can manage with the poison in my loins..." Teruteru nosebleeded, as you, Hajime, and Nagito took that as your que to leave the the hotel restaurant.
"...I'm sorry about that, (F/N)," Nagito apologized as the three of you walked down the stairs, "I'll make sure he doesn't try that again with you."
"It's fine..." You sighed, putting your hands in your pockets, "as long we got Sonia out of that situation, she seems to innocent about that stuff for her own good..." You said as the three of you walked out of the hotel. The three of you walked a short distance, before making it to another location.
"This looks like a ranch." Nagito stated plainly as you looked around. "...Though there aren't many animals around.
Suddenly, Usami popped up, "Aww...you found it out!"
"You again! Seriously, where do you keep appearing from!?" Hajime asked your bunny teacher.
"I can show up anywhere, anytime! The system allows me to appear anywhere on the island!" Usami explained, "It's all thanks to this handy-dandy Magic Stick!" She held up the staff in her hands.
"Hmm...still, I am quite troubled..." Usami started, "A ranch without any moo-cows is like a soccer team without any balls."
"You might want to rephrase that..." Nagito said to Usami, who just ignored him.
"All righty! Just leave it to me and my handy-dandy Magic Stick!" She said, holding up her magic stick and pointing it at a chicken
"Bibidi Bobidi! Bibidi Bobidi!" She kept repeating, "Bibidibibidi! Bobidibobidi! Bu! Turn into a Moo-Cow!" Suddenly, the chicken retracting into a small ball of glowing pink, and came back as a full grown cow. How this was possible, science couldn't tell you. Hajime let out a giant noise of surprise, to which Usami said her transformation was a huge success, and after that, she left.
"Wh-What just happened!?" Hajime stuttered, "A-A chicken...changed into...a cow!?"
"Nah, it's probably some type of trick Usami set up before we got here, science can't do that." You explained.
"She was probably trying to make us happy, but...I guess it had the opposite effect on you, Hajime." Nagito said, making you giggle. You noticed a small girl with pigtails and an orange kimono. She was crouched on the ground as you, Hajime and Nagito made your way towards her.
"Squish! Squish!" She kept saying, repeatedly pressing her finger to the ground.
"Um, are you okay? We haven't introduced ourselves, right?" Hajime tried asking the small girl, "I'm Hajime Hinata, and this is the (F/N) (L/N), the Ultimate Body Modificationist." Hajime said.
"Hmmm?" The small girl asked, before standing up and facing the two of you, "I'm Hiyoko Saionji." She said, before turning to you.
"Hey, Ultimate Body Modificationist or whatever, what does that mean?" She inquired of you, pressing a finger to her chin.
"Oh! I do tattoos and piercings, nothing special." You explained with a smile, and her eyes and smile grew wider.
"So you poke people with needles!?" She asked, a very present sparkle in her eyes, as she spoke excitedly.
"U-Uh, yeah, you could say that." You said sheepishly.
"So does that mean you'll help me squish Mr. Ants!?" Hiyoko asked excitedly of you again.
"Mr...Ants...?" Hajime asked, confused.
"Yeah! Mr. Ants! When you squish their tummies a certain way, they make an awesome sound. So, will you do it with me?" She asked you excitedly.
You let out a small chuckle, plastering a smile on your face, "Sure, why not." You crouched down next to her, pressing your finger to the 'Mr. Ants' as she cheered, doing the same.
"No, you're doing it wrong...!" She said, before Nagito started speaking.
"Hiyoko's talent has made her known as the Ultimate Traditional Dancer." He started, "As a rookie, the Japanese dance industry expects a lot from her. She's already preformed overseas many times. It seems her performances are popular among young audiences, which is rare in the Japanese dance industry" Nagito explained, and you immediately turned to Hiyoko and smiled at her. What Nagito explained about her reminded you a lot of yourself.
"Well, then again, her fans are mostly men." Nagito said again, making your smile turn sad, and sympathetic at the small dancer. Now, she really reminded you of yourself.
"See, there you go! Now you're doing it right, squish squish!" She exclaimed to you, as you laughed while dusting your hands and getting up from your crouching position.
"Well, thanks for that Hiyoko, but, Hajime and I still have people to meet." You said, as she looked up at you.
"Aww, okay. Bye Big Sis (F/N)! Come back and squish more Mr. Ants with me, you got that!?" She practically ordered of you.
"Big...Sis?"You smiled, "You got it. See ya' later, Hiyoko." You walked a short distance away to Hiyoko to another female. One with untamed hair, a short red skirt, and a shirt that clearly displayed her...well endowed features. She was slightly behind the cow that Usami had transformed from a chicken.
"Heeeeey! Who're you dudes?" She asked the three of you, "OH! And chick, can't forget the chick." She said, referring to you.
"Hey, we're just here to introduce ourselves. I'm (F/N) (L/N), Ultimate Body Modificationist, and this is Hajime Hinata." You said, pointing to yourself then Hajime.
"Gotcha... And who's this other dude?" She asked again, referring to Nagito.
"Huh? Haven't we already met?" He slightly sweatdropped.
"Oh, haha! I'm sorry!" She apologized, "I pretty much suck at rememberin' names, and I've met so many interestin' characters today."
"I'm Nagito Komaeda. If you can, please don't forget my name again..." Nagito asked of asked of the busty female.
"Yo! The name's Akane Owari! Nice to meetcha!" She greeted to the three of you.
"Akane is known as the Ultimate Gymnast, and an all-around super athlete. Rumor has it she's a wild troublemaker, but her athletic ability is off the charts." Nagito informed you and Hajime, "However, her basics and fundamentals are all over the place, so her gymnastic routines are mostly improvised. If she's in her groove, she performs splendidly. BUt if she's not, she loses interest and switches it up."
The way Nagito described her, she definitely seemed like the type to cause trouble. Even by looking at her, you could tell she probably makes spontaneous decisions that will most likely get her in trouble, or in some kind of danger or injury. Even so, she had an amazing physique, one that could be compared to an Olympic athlete.
However, you noticed Hajime staring at her, getting slightly redder and redder every few seconds.
You giggled, "Hm, wow, Hajime. Didn't know you had a thing for nice bodies, huh." You teased him, slightly elbowing him in the ribs.
"H-Hey...! I-It's not all that!" He tried defending himself, "plus you're being kinda loud..."
"Hey, it's not like hell will hear us! I'm just speaking loud enough for you and Nagito to hear." You stated, since Akane seemed to be in her own world.
"Well, see you, Akane. Hajime and I still have people to meet." You said to the Ultimate Gymnast, who flashed you a big smile.
"Catch ya' guys later!" She pronounced, before going back into her own world. As the three of you left the ranch, you realized you only had one last location to go to. You sighed a small sigh of relief, happy to be almost through with the introductions.
As you, Hajime, and Nagito all found your way to the last location, you found it to be a park, with an interesting bronze statue. It was a rock, and behind that rock was a tiger. Under than rock there was a giant snake. On the rock there was a horse, and on the horse there was a warrior. They all seemed menacing, as if they were either protecting something, or battling.
"A park surrounded by the ocean..." Nagito started, "Huh, it feel so nice!" You couldn't help but smile at Nagito's laid back attitude. Right now, you knew the best thing was to adapt to your current circumstances, despite how unusual they were.
You noticed one last figure near the giant bronze statue, being the last person you and Hajime have yet to meet. He was the bigger man from the classroom, with an entirely clean white suit, and white framed glasses. He noticed the three of you approaching him.
"...What do you want." He rudely asked of the three of you.
"You don't have to be rude about it... But we're here to introduce ourselves." You explained.
"Fine, but make it quick." He ordered, seemingly impatient.
"Well, this is Hajime Hinata, and I'm (F/N) (L/N), the Ultimate Body Modificationist. Nice to meet you." You introduced yourself and Hajime. The mans eyes slightly widened with shock as you introduced your talent, but quickly reverted back to normal before any of you could even notice.
"My name is Byakuya Togami..." He said, pausing, "...I'm done, however, I have a question to ask of you."
"Hm? And what would that be?" You asked of him.
"Why did you introduce yourself with your talent, but did not mention his talent. I find that strange..." He inquired, making Hajime slightly shift with embarrassment.
"Well, that's because..." Hajime started, sheepishly scratching the back of his neck, "I forgot what my talent was..."
"Hm, fine then." Byakuya said before looking away from the two of you.
"Well, I suppose that's Byakuya for you..." Nagito said.
"Huh, what do you mean?" Hajime asked.
"That guy is particularly special, even by Ultimate standards..." Nagito started, making you curious, "He's net in line to inherit his family's massive financial conglomerate." Oh. That felt sort of ant-climactic. "He's already begun managing the business operations, and his net worth is, well, enormous. It's completely accurate to call him the Ultimate Affluent Progeny. He's the epitome of 'exceptional'." Nagito explained to you. Honestly, his whole explanation of Byakuya felt anti-climactic. You had already 'inherited' your own father's business when you were 15, but that was about two years ago. Obviously, it was impressive for Byakuya considering he was an Ultimate, but to you, it felt like a weird sense of deja-vu.
"I do believe we have all finished talking, so how much longer do you intend to stand there?" Byakuya asked the three of you, "Move along! That's the only thing you skinny types are good at, it seems."
"Let's just go, (F/N) and Hajime..." Nagito told you two, but before you three exited the park, a sound of bells was heard.
"Was that a school bell just now?" Hajime asked.
"Hajime, (F/N). Look at that monitor over there." Nagito said, making your attention drift to the monster Nagito was looking at.
There sat Usami in a red chair, a joyous expression on her face.
"Congratulations everyone! It appears that everyone has finished collecting the Hope Fragments! I'm..." She sniffed, "...I'm so happy..."
"Soooo...I've prepared a present for everyone that'll make you all veeeeery happy! I apologize for the trouble, but please gather at the beach!" Usami giggled, " Tee hee hee! May shining hope be with you all! Then the monitor turned off, Nagito spoke first.
"She said to meet at the beach..."
"I-Is that gonna be okay...? I'm starting to have a bad feeling about this." Hajime stated.
"I don't think it could be anything too-too bad, it's just a reward for all the Hope Fragments." You said to Hajime.
"Yeah, thinking won't solve anything. We can do that after we go to the beach." Nagito said.
"I say we go," You said, looking to meet Hajime's eyes, "C'mon, I assure you it won't be anything that bad." You elbowed Hajime's arm, as he slightly chuckled at your gesture.
"Fine, then. Let's get going." Hajime said, as you, him, and Nagito began walking to the beach.
"I wonder what this surprise will be..."
