Chappy 1

You were currently sitting besides an unconscious boy on the beach, deep in your own thoughts at the events that had just transpired.

"How the hell did this happen..." You thought to yourself, looking back at the boy, then at the sand near the crashing waves on your other side.

--

It finally happened, you were accepted into the infamous Hope's Peak Academy. Your father, your co-workers, your subordinates were all ecstatic for you. Of course, you promised that your schoolwork wouldn't interfere with your work, the one thing you'd basically been trained to do your whole life.

As you stood in front of the school you had enamored since forever, you stepped forward, excited for this new chapter in your book of life. The excitement didn't last forever, though, because as soon as you stepped in front of the gates, you felt a sense of drowsyness come over your senses.

"Wh...What? What is this...?" You thought, before your legs completely gave out, and you passed out completely on the floor.

...

Now, you had completely lost sense of what happened to you, but you felt your consciousness come back to you.

You felt yourself wake up in a pitch black room. After realizing that you were awake, you immediately brought your hands up to your face, feeling to make sure you were you. Next you moved to your shoulders, your abdomen, your breasts. After realizing that you, were in fact, you, you decided to feel inside your pockets to make sure everything you kept with you was still there.

Extra piercings? Check. Miniature piercing equipment? Yep. Pen? Still there. Miniature switchblade? Yes sir.

After a sigh of relief left your lips as you looked up and saw a big, wooden door. Feeling drawn to the light emitting from the door, you found yourself subconsciously moving towards it, extending your arms to push the door open.

Opening the door, the light inside of the room came quickly to your eyes, causing you to squint to adjust yourself to the sudden brightness. There were fifteen other people inside the classroom type room, and you didn't know who they were. After closing the door behind you, a voice spoke.

"Hey...are you also a freshman at this school?" A voice asked, which made you think.

Well, yeah, you were supposed to be going to Hope's Peak Academy today, but you didn't have any explanation as to why you passed out suddenly. Sure, you had been prone to passing out due to fatigue and hunger really quite often, but today you felt fine! You had actually gotten sleep the night before, and even actually ate something before you made your way for Hope's Peak.

"Uh...yeah. I am." You said, to particularly no one, considering you didn't even know who was speaking to you. After a few moments of a weird silence, you opted towards moving to a desk near the back of this...'classroom'. After a few minutes of waiting and spinning your pen between your fingers, yet another student came in.

"...Who goes there?" A voice asked the new boy that came in, and due to his reaction, you could tell he was confused.

"I assume...freshman like us have been gathered in this classroom." A feminine voice spoke.

"...Hey, why don't you come inside for now?" A bigger man ordered of the boy who had just come inside, to which the new boy obliged. Like yourself, he closed the door, and took the open seat next to you. You, deciding to be nice, decided to give him a small smile, to which he sort of reciprocated.

Everything still felt weird to you, why did you pass out? Why did you wake up in a weird, pitch black room? Why was there a weird wooden door inside the black room, and why were you so drawn to it? Well, it could've been because it was the only thing in your line of sight, or just the room in general. The light emitting from the cracks of the door didn't help with that, either. Something was off...

"Um...excuse me?" The boy next to you said to no one.

"...What is it?" The bigger man from before asked of the boy next to you.

"Why are we all gathered in this classroom? No one said anything about coming here, so...is there like, an entrance ceremony or homeroom happening right now?" He asked.

"Actually...we were just about to discuss that matter." The bigger man stated again.

"Hm, discuss?" You asked aloud, slightly sitting up in your chair.

"Well, since he is the last student to arrive, let's start the discussion." He said to you, leaving you to hum in understanding after a few seconds.

"Eh, this is everyone? How do you know?" A seemingly punk rock girl with multiple piercings and colored blue and pink hair asked, and you already grew fond of her simply for her appearance.

"Well, there's seventeen desks in this room, and this guy is the seventeenth student, so we can we see that he's the last person." You pointed out, leaving the bigger man to nod in satisfaction at your answer.

"That is correct, it's obvious if you even bother to think about!" He said in regards to your statement.

"And just what are we gonna talk about? The reason we're all gathered here in this classroom?" Another small boy asked. He had a chef outfit on, along with a chef hat, and croissant like hair, with two braids on the side.

"First, I need to confirm something. Out of everyone here...Is there anyone who actually remembered how they came to this classroom?" The bigger man asked, and everyone fell into a small silence. Everyone looked at each other in a seeming confusion. Not one person raised their hand.  Did...did everyone really not remember coming to this classroom?

"So before you realized it, you were in this classroom, then everyone here is in the same predicament...No matter how you look at it, it's unnatural. Even you stupid looking ones would agree, right?" He said again.

"I-It sure is strange. Nobody actually remembers how they came here..." A red headed girl with a camera around her neck said. You could assume her ultimate was being a photographer for that reason. "...Hey! What do you mean, 'stupid-looking'!?"

"Well, the minute we all came on campus, we all felt a weird dizziness, right? And now we're all here with no memory, and we don't know why...that's what I felt, at least. Did it...happen to you guys...?" You voiced, earning looks from a few others.

"Th-That happened to me too but..." The boy next to you said.

"Eh?! That dizziness wasn't just me?" The short chef looking boy asked again. "Everyone felt the same dizziness...that's weird!"

"E-Even if it's just a coincidence...it feels too good to be true..." A timid girl with choppy purple hair, a nurse apron and a bandage around her forearm uttered.

"So you're saying it's not just a coincidence, then." The bigger man stated. "Meaning...we can only speculate who's responsible for this strange phenomenon."

A small feeling bubbled up in the pits of your stomach, and it wasn't a good feeling. This felt strange, and it felt like it was going to get even stranger...

"Hah! I don't know what you're so worried about, but that doesn't sound like a huge deal..." A big, muscly man with chains around his shoulders proclaimed, sticking a finger in his ear.

"...What do you mean?" A boy with pink hair and a yellow jumpsuit asked.

"I mean it's only a minor problem. Instead of trying to figure out why we're here, we should try to figure out why we can't leave..." The muscly man stated again, making you jolt your head up.

"Huh? Whaddaya mean we can't leave?" A girl with wild hair and large... breasts, asked. You immediately got up and walked towards the door, trying to pull it open to no avail. You couldn't hear what they were talking about, as you were fixated on opening the door. You even tried knocking on the door to try and hear if any parts of it were more shallow than the other, but no luck...

"He's right...it's not opening." You said, looking behind your shoulder to everyone else, some of which looking more worried than the others.

"...Huh, why!?" The red headed, photographer female asked.

"A little while after I got here, I tried to go take a shit..." The muscly man said, and you deadpanned at his statement. "But the door wouldn't budge at all!"

"Hey, hey...what's going on?" The boy with pink hair uttered nervously.

"Even with all my might, I couldn't open it!" The muscly man said.

"Eh? What do you mean you couldn't open it? Why? That's not possible!" A small girl with pigtails and an orange kimono complained.

"S-She's right! It's impossible!" The boy who sat next to you expressed, "Because...when I went through the door, it opened normally...It wasn't locked at all...!"

"Then...don't you think it's locked from the outside then?" You suggested, which seemed to be the most logical answer at the moment. "There's no denying that we've been locked inside here."

The room went silent. You guys really  were locked inside this weird classroom. This entire situation was much too surreal. You were all supposed to be freshman at Hope's Peak Academy, and then once you all stepped foot on campus, you all passed out. Then, everyone woke up in a strange room, with a single wooden door.

"M-Maybe we're...getting mixed up...in something dangerous?" The pink haired boy asked.

"Or perhaps... Doesn't it make more sense to think that this is the entrance exam?" A boy with white hair going in multiple different directions inquired.

"Well, no, that's not it, because Hope' Peak doesn't have an entrance exam." You explained.

"They may say that publicly, but it's possible that this is actually a special entrance exam." The male enquired again.

"Ah, you're wrong. This is not an entrance exam." A new, unidentified voice said. It was unusually high pitched, and seeing as it came out of nowhere, you jumped in surprise.

"What was that just now?" The bigger man asked to nobody.

"Hey fatass... Why'd you make that cutesy voice all of a sudden?" A small boy with short hair and a pinstripe suit asked. Although, you did narrow your eyes at his manner.

"I won't dispute your blunt remark about my weight. But that voice you heard was not mine..." The bigger man responded.

"... Huh? Then whose is it?" The busty girl asked.

"Um, it's actually mine!" The voice said again, making the muscly man yell to it to reveal itself.

Suddenly, a white rabbit with a pink tutu, a pink bow, wings, and a staff popped out from behind the teachers desk.

"...Is that a stuffed animal?" You asked, mostly to yourself.

"That's right, I am a squeezably soft stuffed animal. I am "Magical Miracle Girl★ Usami...A.K.A Usami!" The white rabbit proclaimed, " I may not look like it, but I am your squeezably soft teacher. Nice to meet you all!"

"...No fucking way this... thing is our teacher." You thought to yourself, eyebrows furrowed in suspicion.

"H-Huh? Am I hallucinating? Am I the only one who's seeing this?" The small chef boy asked, to which you began shaking your head.

"Uh, no. I'm sure we can all see it too..." You stated, not taking your eyes off of your 'teacher'.

The busty girl asked about the talking 'Chihuahua', to which the punk girl asked if it was, in fact, a chihuahua...which it's clearly not.

"...Does everybody here know what a rabbit is? It's a love able animal that's very fluffy and soft." The so-called Usami said, "that's what I am! A singing, dancing, talking rabbit mascot!"

"That's...nice." You reluctantly mentioned, not knowing what to say to the rabbit, "...what do you guys think?" You asked everyone in the room.

"I-It's probably remote controlled or something... Don't be a little bitch over a child's toy." The boy with a pinstripe suit said to you, making you roll your eyes.

"E-Even if it's remote controlled, doesn't it look too lifelike? That's pretty advanced for a toy..." The boy with pink hair observed.

"It's movements and mannerisms are not the issue. More importantly, based on what it just said... It seems you know something about our current situation...!" The bigger man interjected, making your eyes widen in shock.

"Of course I do! I'm the lead teacher of this school trip!" Usami said, making you even more confused than before.

"School trip? Aren't we supposed to be starting our freshman year right now? This makes no sense...!"

"School trip? What do you mean by 'school trip'?" You asked of the rabbit.

"A large group of students go on a chaperoned trip with a lead teacher! It's the biggest event of the school year!" She answered for you, "Now let's depart for the fun school trip!"

You eyes widened frantically. You were going now?! How the hell would that work? Most trips are usually taken by car or plane, sometimes even a boat! So how were you going to get to your destination?

Suddenly, Usami started waving her magic stick around, and a pink aura surrounded the room, accompanied by pink sparkles. It was basically blinding. The room was shaking, and after a while of shaking...the room was gone. You looked around to see palm trees, you heard and ocean, and what was beneath your feet was 100% not a hard floor, but rather grainy sand. The lighting change was something you had to get used to, but ultimately, you were just really confused.

"What...the hell is this!?" The boy who sat next to you panicked, and you'd be lying if you said you didn't have the same reaction. No matter which way you could even think to rationalize it, it was extremely abnormal.

"Um..." The chef boy started, making you look at him, "Wha-Wha-Wha-Wha-Wha-Wha-Wha-What!?" He panicked.

"This is  joke...right?" The pink haired boy asked, sweating,

More questions of confusion arised from your classmates, and you really couldn't blame them. You were just as confused as they were. Only your head teachers voice brought you back down to Earth.

"Everyone! Please stay calm!" She insisted, "There is no reason to panic! Seeeee? Look around! Feast your eyes on this beautiful ocean..."

Well, if you were being honest, the surroundings we're beautiful. The sky was a beautiful blue with completely white clouds scattered within it. The sound and smell of the sea was nothing irregular, the sea being another clear blue. If it were in normal circumstances, you would've been happy to be here. But, since you were so confused, it was more...weird, than therapeutic to be at a beach as beautiful as this one.

"Wait...where in the world are we?" The girl with silver braids mused, "You must tell us that much."

"Where? Well, obviously we're... 'out where it's better, out where it's wetter,' out by the sea!!" Usami fist punched the air.

"I-I understand this is the sea, but... wh-what are we doing here?!" The nurse girl stammered, tears building up in her eyes.

"You're gonna get a sore throat if you keep yelling like that, ya'know." Your teacher said to the nurse girl, concern in her voice. You'd admit, it was nice of her to care, but care wasn't what you all needed at the moment. You all needed answers.

"But, we were all just at the school, were we not? And now, we are by the sea, it's...it's not possible!" A girl with blonde hair and crystal blue eyes fretted.

"Do not worry! All that matters is that we're here right now...!" Usami cheered.

"But...you totally missed everything that comes before that!!" The punk girl screamed, holding her face with her hands.

"You all need to stop worrying so much about your school!" Usami started, causing many objections from the rest of your classmates, "The school had planned his trip for all of you! Right now, just focus on the beauty of the island!" Hearing the word 'island' caught your attention, bringing you head up to full on look at you rabbit teacher.

"Wait a minute, island?" You asked, making your classmates turn their heads to you, then back at your teacher.

"Mhm!! It is reserved just for us, no dangerous people are on here!" She said.

"So...does that mean this place is uninhabited?" You asked again, suspicion building up further and further.

"Perhaps you brought us on this island to kill each other...?" The boy with white hair inquired, making Usami panic frantically.

"Wha--!? K-Kill?! E-Each other!? Nu-uh, no way!!" She yelled, sweating furiously, "Killing people is bad!! No one should have to be killed!"

You looked away awkwardly at her words, choosing to look at the tranquil wave pattern that was on your left. You absentmindedly played with a loose strand of hair, not really paying attention to what anyone was saying.

Well, that was until you heard a loud thump from near you.

You saw that the boy who sat next to you from the classroom had fainted, and you lightly gasped as you went and kneeled by his side. You pressed two fingers to his neck, just to make sure he still had a steady heartbeat, which he did. Usami had given you all something called an "e-Handbook", which contained all the island's regulations, very standard things. While the others were talking about splitting up and exploring the island, you stayed by the side of the unconscious boy. You didn't want to leave him alone, and it seemed the boy with white hair had the same idea as you...

--

And those were all the moments leading up to, well, right now. You were still sitting next to an unconscious boy on the beach, the white haired boy was leaning against a palm tree. You had been looking at the ocean for quite a while, and it wasn't until you heard shuffling from your other side that you stopped looking. The boy was finally awake now, so you and the white haired boy had went to see if he was okay waking up. You both looked at each other while he was shuffling back to consciousness, and the only thing you had in your mind was...

"This is gonna be one hell of a school trip."
