since summer is right around the corner, I thought I'd give you guys some fun ideas you can do to spend your time! (of course other than reading, writing, editing, ect.)

1. Go outdoors!

Don't spend all of your summer inside on your phone or on the computer! Go fishing, kayaking, star gazing, have a picnic, biking, 4-wheeler riding, have a water balloon fight, play volleyball or any other sport, go boating, go to the beach, go for a walk, play some yard yartzi, play corn holes, go swimming, golfing, climb a tree, venture to places you've never been, do whatever!

2. Hang out with friends!

This is literally what I do every single summer...they for sure keep you occupied and if you have the right type of friends, you don't have to do anything in specific to have a good time. If you're old enough, cruise around town/city, throw a small party, go to concerts, have an outdoor movie night, ect. Do whatever with them and make good memories!

3. For you indoors lovers..

For the times you can't go outside or you just don't what to, you can still do fun things such as write, edit, read, build a pillow fort, draw, write a letter to send to that specific "internet" friend, watch low-budget films and laugh, find some new music, watch some youtube, online shop, play some xbox or playstation, start a journal, cook a different type of meal, do a little cleaning and whatnot, ect. 

4. For the teens..

If you're in the 15-18 age range, I'm sure you've heard the constant "what do you wanna do the rest of your life?" question over and over again. If you're as stressed as I am about college, use this summer to your advantage. Go tour some colleges, do some research, and maybe even get a job somewhere to earn a little extra cash. Not only will this hopefully make you feel less worried about the future, but it also will help pass the time if you usually only sit around at home during the summer. 

5. Use your location to your advantage. 

What I mean by this is that your summer depends a whole lot on where you live and what you make out of it. For me, my summer consists of many lake days and riding around on gravel roads and fishing, since I live out in the country. If you live in the city though, you have a lot of opportunities to do fun things located there, such as go to the mall, skate parks, parks, bowling alleys, water parks, and whatever else is in your area. Make sure to use those to your advantage!
