Jealousy, Among Other Things

Worried

Disconnected

And slightly flustered

Was all of what Park Jimin was feeling on the glamorous red carpet. He often would discreetly pull down or hick up his black choker, depending on what position it fell to, to hide away the love bite that risen on his neck; while smiling lopsidedly to the many flashing cameras hoping the mark wasn't visible.

In the midst of his panic, his mind would drift to Ashley and that sudden intimate moment that had in the hotel. He kept replaying and feeling every short-lived sensation, moment, and sound that came out of them. He didn't hate it; no, he loved it. Craved it more and more with every tick of the clock. Ashley did not accompany them to pose and take red carpet interviews, instead, she was already inside, waiting for them.

Thank god, cause if she was by his side he would have had a tough time fighting the urge to look at her and touch her. She started the fire inside him and he needed to put it out.

"Jimin?" Namjoon's voice called, breaking Jimin out of his discarded thoughts.

"Yes?" He huskily asked, clearing his dry throat.

"We are about to go inside now." RM pointed to his members heading of the door.

"Oh, right." He was so caught up in his daydream he hadn't realized he was just standing there with lustful thoughts.

"What's wrong? Are you not feeling well?" Jin asked patting his back as they walked in, the outside noise dying while a new set of sounds filled his head.

"I'm okay, just a little hot," He smiled, adjusting his choker again. Jin's eyes trailed to his conspicuous hickey, almost choking when he stifled his iconic laugh.

"Ah, Jiminie, my work here is done,"

Jimin raised a brow at him, curious about his peculiar statement.

"What are you talking about?" His voice was tight.

"Ooo shrimp!" Jin suddenly b line for the table fill with hors d'oeuvers including the jumbo shrimp on an ice bowl cocktail and left Jimin without an answer. Jimin rolled his eyes and regroup with the rest of his members. They were talking to the stage producer when he spotted Ashley leaning against the wall.

She wasn't apart of the conversations she merely observed the scene.  He watched her tenderly as if her presence bewitched him. She leaned on the wall, back ever so slightly arched and hands behind her back; as if she had nothing to hide. Her bare leg flashed for the world to gaze and dream upon just begging for soft kisses to be placed on her tights.

She was so mouthwateringly mesmerizing he could not pull away, the way she tucked her hair behind her ears revealing more of her neck caused him to bite his lips and finger the area her lips marked.

"Umm, Jiminshi?" Another distant yet close voice called of him, released from this trance, he removed his hand from his neck.

His eyes snapped off her and landed on the stage director in front of him.

'What was her name again?'

"Yes?"

"Can you try on the earpiece? We are checking for sound,"

"Yeah sure, sorry I was spacing out... Minseo," He charmingly said, remembering her name at that moment.

Smiling widely Minseo gave him the earpiece and closely stared at him. His fair skin, alluring eyes, neat yet unkempt hair. Her eyes trailed down to his neck and spotted light discolouration on it. Knitting her brows she asked in concern.

"Is that makeup on your neck?" She said, reaching to touch the area but Jimin was to fast when he held her hand from displacing the choker.

"Oh no, this? A little bed bug bit me that's all," He smiled letting her go, he took out the earpiece.

"It's fine, thank you," He handed her it and walked to where his members were, thinking he got away with his white lie, but this Minseo character was too annoyingly bright. Of course, she figured out it was a hickey. And she had a feeling who gave it to him. Her gaze caught the sight of Ashley; the girl she had despised in a short time.

She hated how chummy Ashley would act around bts in the interviews, like was apart of the group or more than that. Hated how nice bts was to her, envied the way they look at her with kind eyes, and the way Jimin watched her so passionately.

With clenched fists, she strutted over to Ashley.

"You know you really can't be back here, only for performers and employees," She said through gritted teeth.

Ashley only once-over the fuming girl and unprop herself off the wall.

"I know when I'm needed." She cooly said with a shadow of a smirk playing on her lips.

Minseo watched with wide eyes as Ashley walked to the guys and told them she was going to find her seat in the audience. As to which J hope, Suga, Jungkook, and Jimin followed her out. While the rest of the members were still talking with the stage managers about their mics.

Minseo eyes still oppressive on them, she noticed how Jungkook took out a small ziplock bag with what looked like trail mix and happily shared it among Jin and Ashley. Ash took a hand full and began munching on them; saying how it was tasty. While Jimin placed his hand on her lower back, edging her to go first. The contact with Ash and Jimin lasted only for a moment but to Minseo it went on for more than that.

"What's that freaking girl have that I don't." She bit on her thumbnail and pondered on her question.

Bangtan was the last to perform since they brought a lot of views to the network they decided to place them last to keep the views high. At this point Ashley was so burned out, it was a taxing four-hour show and her energy was draining and her hotel bed was calling for her.

The air was saturated with euphoria all anxiously awaiting bangtan to perform. Ash merely got a glimpse of the life of Bts and was exhausted by it but it didn't compare to how bts takes it. It's true, not everyone is cut out of the fame and riches of the entertainment business. One always has to have a charming and extraordinary persona to appeal to the public.

And bts had that, or more like they crafted and perfected it.

Ash watched from afar when at commercial breaks dozens of celebrities would line up to take photos with them, just itching to get a peek at the excitement. Some genuine and others undeniably fake whose only goal was to use the guys as photo props to post on their Instagram to get a ton of likes. Yet the guys happily took the pictures. No questions asked.

Ash would often wonder if they grew accustomed to their systematic lives, and does it bother them? The lack of conversating with the fans and even fellow celebrates. Not referring to the  "Love you guys, huge fans/ Hi, how are you/ or Can we take a selfie?" aspect of it.

But the realness of a one on one conversation with them. The not reaching for your phone to get a quick post for Instagram, but rather asking about them, talking to them about music and how it has impacted the lives of the fans. Or just a simple is your day going?

This reminded her of the time Ren was talking about another kpop group and how melancholy was apart of the system of kpop.

He described it as not having authentic relationships with people. Idols tend to have little friends and minimal sincere friendships. Because it's always a competition and human always want something from other humans. Money, fame, power. She felt sorry for them.

I wonder if they feel that way too...

She peered around and the opposite of what she was feeling was being expelled. People- celebrate and non- celebrates were smiling, chatting, taking photos and bopping along to the music. How could all these people be so energetic at this late at night? Catching the time on the stranger's wristwatch beside her it read; 10:30.

'Wow, I'm getting old.'

The announcer came on stage waiting for everyone to quiet down, with a bright smile she began.

"This next artist hasn't been around for that long yet dominated the music industry, these guys have come all the way from South Korea just to show you some 'fake love'- pun intended. Please give a warm welcome to BTS!!"

The stadium erupted in harsh screams of fans, as the intro to fake love started playing and the stage rose to show the seven silhouettes accompanied by booming fan chants. With her mouth slightly agape she realized that this was the first time she was getting to see them perform live.

The majority of the audience was on their feet, dancing and humming and singing to them yet Ashley was stuck to her chair, though she could clearly see the stage through the sea of bodies. She wanted to stand but somehow she couldn't, she was hypnotized- mesmerized by them.

How they acted, sang, danced. It all came together beautifully. They all had their own emotions embedded in the song. Hurt, detest, agony, sadness, confusion, frustration, lust. She paid close attention to one member in particular. The one who makes her laugh, and feel loved, the one that makes her lust and needed him.

Jimin.

He was so captivating, his honey voice dipped in exasperation, his fluid moves like water in a stream; as he wore the face of lechery. Her hands grasp the material of her dress, simultaneously drawing her thighs closely together to create some friction to subdue the ache under her abdomen.

After Jin and Jungkook's last note, the crowd, again, erupted into squeals while Ash sunk lower into her chair with a lot of pent up frustration.

"Sleep. Sleep is what i need." She let her eyes fluttered shut and soon the chaotic background noise became fuzzy.

After the bts's performance, most of the crowd dispersed to go home or go to an after-party. The guys and other artist stayed back after the performance interview, photos and such. Minseo found the guys and decided to squeeze in some last-minute convo before they left.

"Amazing performance guys!" She said in a high-pitched tone, clapping and bouncing slightly from excitement.

"Ah, Minseo thanks so much!" Namjoon bowed.

"I hope we did alright I was so nervous!" Jhope cried, ruffling his hair.

"Same, I looked out into the crowd once and I saw Ariana Grande dancing in the front row and I nearly fainted," V fanboyed.

"Well no need to worry, guys did awesome as always and it came out great as well, the visuals were sick!"

"We appreciate that thank you."

"Has anyone seen Ash? She was supposed to meet us here," Jimin asked, turning his head to see if he spotted her.

Minseo's smiled slipped into an annoyed smile at the drop of Ashley's shortened name.

"Perhaps she went home?" She said through a clenched jaw.

"No she wouldn't just leave, come on let's look for her," Said Jimin. The sight of the guys backs leaving her was tearing her apart, therefore she offered to help look for Ashley; in high hopes, they would not find her.

They walked around the halls where people stood talking but she wasn't there, nor was she outside the venue. The last place to check was the audience. In the sea of red chairs, their eyes searched for her.

"Ah! There she is!" V shouted and powered walked to her sleeping body.

They all huddled around staring in curiosity. Her unmoving body, head tilted back and breathing slow.

"Anyone else getting deja vu?" Suga spoke, taking a seat next to her.

"Why is she sleeping here though? What if something happened to her," Jin said worriedly, looking around for any suspicious figures.

Suga poked her cheek but not no response. "And how can she sleep so calmly? I can't even sleep this good on a mattress,"

"Should we wake her up?" Jungkook asked.

Without another thought Jimin very gently picked her up bridal style, earning some 'ooohs' from the rest of the members. He giggled, watching Ashley's peacefully sleeping face in amusement.

Meanwhile, in Minseo's head, she wanted to rip Ash away from Jimin's arms and come into his. The very sight of them made her sick to her stomach. However, in her deadly vile mind, a very disgusting plan hitched. The members were getting ready to leave and Minseo's time with Jimin was running out, so she put on a convincing front and said.

"Hey, have you guys heard of club 'Sugar Water'?
