DANIELLE'S POV

I can tell by the grin on Joey's face, that I had said that out loud. And if I'm not mistaken he's loving every minute of it. After a few awkward moments of silence and people pushing past us to get out of the sanctuary, Joey finally speaks up. He says, "Okay ... well the pastor told me there was a cd signing out there, but do you want to ... do... something after?"

I glance around, shocked. I turn back at him, just knowing my mouth is hanging wide open. Hope there aren't any homeless flies around. "Wait! Me?!" My voice comes out very high pitched.

Joey is laughing so hard he's shaking. He walks around me and to the pew behind me, sitting down dramatically. Right next to my little cousin, Noah's favorite toy that he has to take everywhere, no matter the season. A plush Frosty the Snowman.

Joey shoots me a wacky grin. "Nah I was talking to the plush snowman right here. I would ask him to get something to eat, but it looks like he's stuffed... Isn't that right Frosty?" He picks up Frosty, and puts his closer to the toy, pretending to listen. He gives a curt nod. "Yup. He's definitely stuffed."

I can't help but laugh ... and hard. So does Joey. "Seriously though, I meant you." He says, now totally serious.

"Wellllll." I say, pretending like there's actualy a decision to be made. "I'd hate to get between the two of you." I glance at Frosty.

"Oh don't worry, he said that he has a girl friend that is the "Crystal" in his eye." Joey looks proud of himself

'Wow, Joey nice reference', I think to myself.

"Well if Frosty's POSITIVE it's ok..." I say. "And since I don't really have anything better to do today.... I guess we can do something later."

He laughs, shaking his head. "I'm glad your schedule isn't too busy for me."

"Never for you Joe." He grins. "Wow I think I really need to learn not to blurt out everything on my mind...." Wait... I just did it again!

"Well I'm Outta MY mind if that helps?" Joey grins that simply cute grin of his.

"You lovin livin this way?" I joke back, to calm myself

"Oh yeah!" Joey fist pumps the air.

"Do you smell that?" I say laughing.

Joey grins "CHICK FIL A!"

"I thought it was Nick Barre?" I say confused.

Joey laughs, "Well if we invite him to lunch that would be a little weird."

I nod, and then Joey holds up a finger. "You know what also would be a little weird...?"

"What's that?" I laugh, try to expect the unexpected.

"Going to lunch with a fun girl whose name I don't know." Joey gives a classy but funny grin.

'Could anyone but him manage that?' I think. And then I realize he's watching me and waiting. I decide to play the goofy game and act faux fancy smanchy, "Hello, Joseph Joey Bobby Buddy Stamper. My name's Danielle, but you may call me Dani." This sends us both into fits of laughter, until someone's call out Joey's name.
