Luna POV

"I've been gone for three days and they already even found a Shepherd." I mumbled as Daku was walking next to me.

"We'll have to see if he's the real thing." He answered and I just sighed.

"How? See if he's able to see you?" I asked and he gave me one of his wicked smiles.

"I'm sure Lailah was the one to choose him so he must be worthy my guess is he will be able to see me." He said as we walked in the way the princess was.

"Alright then you'll have to hide." I said.

"But where's the fun in that?" He asked me with a pout.

"You'll give them a surprise a few minutes after." I said as we got closer.

"Now hide." I said causing him to roll his eyes but nod and hide. I walked to where the princess was to see the princess with a human and two seraphims.

"Princess." I said as she had her hand in the human's one.

"Oh Luna hello." She said as I bowed to her.

"Hello princess. I came here after my successful mission to find out that you've found the Shepherd." I said and looked at the other human.

"Indeed. Luna this is Sorey the shepherd. Sorey this is Luna, one of my best soldiers." Said the princess as I nodded.

"It's an honor to meet you Sorey." I said.

"Hey can I come out now this is getting boring." I heard from behind me as I gave a sigh the seraphim girl immediately moved in front of the human in a fighting stance.

"What's wrong Lailah?" Asked Sorey.

"Daku." She said.

"Wha calm down there. He's not here to hurt anyone." I said as Sorey looked at me with surprise in his eyes.

"You can see them?" He asked and I gave him a smirk.

"I couldn't possibly hang around Daku without seeing him. It would be weird." I said and he blinked.

"Wait you can see us?" Asked a boy with white hair and violet eyes. He looked to be a seraphim of water.

"Yes I can. What's your name?" I asked.

"I'm Mikleo." He said and I nodded looking at the princess who was staring at me as if I had betrayed her and I knew why.

"I'm sorry I didn't tell you princess but I did not want to get your hopes up and expect to see them as well." I said.

"Why are you here Daku?" Asked Lailah.

"What do you mean?" He said playing innocent as I rolled my eyes.

"He's with me." I said looking at her.

"There's no need to worry he's not going to hurt anyone here." I said trying to assure her.

"I don't believe that. He's basically a god of darkness there is no way to know we are safe." She said making me sigh.

"Do I really need to give you the story?" I asked kinda annoyed.

"Don't worry my lovely Luna I'll tell them." Daku said hugging me from behind putting his head on my head.

"No need to rub it in that you're so much taller than me." I said as he laughed.

"You see a few years back I was traveling around looking for malevolence and darkness when instead I found a little girl all alone with sharp eyes. She could actually see me and sense the malevolence and she also could sustain it. I was so impressed I actually decided to stay by her side. And a good choice that was." He said to everyone except the princess since she couldn't hear him.

"Well now you know he's not gonna hurt you. He's been stuck to me like gum ever since that day." I said looking at the shepherd.

"I'm still kinda confused.. how were you able to see him?" Sorey asked.

"Well to tell the truth my parents had always had the believe that seraphims existed this was from even before I was even born. For some reason when I was born they said they could feel a presence but couldn't pin point why. When I was around 5 years old I had seen hellions in the city and the malevolence started getting worse and worse. I didn't know what to do.. soon the village where I lived was wiped out of existence after an attack.. yet for some reason I survived. I spent a week in that place surviving day after day until Daku entered my life. He taught me a lot, with him I actually found out that I have the ability to sense and purify malevolence." I said.

"Wait how can you have that ability?" Asked Lailah and Daku gave her a wicked smile.

"I have the ability to amortize with Daku. I'm his vessel." I answered her question.

"Then your heart most be black." She said with hate in her voice.

"I can assure you it's not. I have my ideals just like you have yours and princess Alisha has hers. I have feelings though I wouldn't say I have much of them." I said and I saw the princess nod.

"That's true she can once in a while have mercy but I'm yet to see her smile or laugh. She always wants to do things alone." The princess said making me sigh.

"I don't do them alone. I do them with Daku. And I just prefer to keep to myself instead of having humans that don't believe or are too afraid to do so getting in my way of helping this world." I said.

"Like right now Lady Lake needs saving there is something wrong here. I had noticed some time before I left but I couldn't find a way in." I said and looked at Sorey.

"But maybe you could help." I said.

"Hey now let's not get over or heads here. You know all you need is me." Daku said and I look at him.

"Are you jealous Daku?" I asked and he just looked away.

"No but I don't like you with other people."

"There's the definition of jealousy." I said with a teasing face.

"I'm not jealous!" He yelled and I laughed at him.

"I've never seen you laugh.." Said the princess looking at me with a surprised expression as I cleared my throat.

"Anyway we should go where the malevolence is coming from." I said and Sorey nodded.
