Taehyung couldn't sleep that night. He kept on tossing and turning. Then heard a knock on his door. Glancing at his wall clock he saw its midnight, he wondered who is the person. Taehyung opened the door and saw Ji-hoon standing.

"What is it, uncle?"

"Today I am going to spend the night with my friend, is it bad?"

"No but I am tired."

"We will sleep. Don't worry. Relax." Taehyung heaved a sigh.

"Taehyung... I am sorry. I didn't wanted to use you. I didn't had any choice. Knowing your feelings for Jisoo, I did the wrong thing. I am sorry."

"It's okay uncle. I don't mind."

"Taehyung.... I want to say, for the first time I am giving you a advice as a friend not a father. She doesn't sees you in that way. In that case what can a father or a friend will do? I think you must..."

"Back off." Taehyung completed Ji-hoon's sentence for him.

"Taehyung..."

"Let's sleep uncle. I am not in my right mood."

Taehyung kept tossing and turning when his phone rang. He got suprised when the caller ID showed Jisoo's name.

"Hey! What does your daughter wants at this hour?"

"So now she is my daughter. Nothing to you." Taehyung rolled his eyes and accepted the call.

"Taehyung come downstairs. I mean meet me at the garage."

"Now I have to bring your uncle?" Taehyung sounded irritated.

"Why would you say that?"

"Cause other night when you called, it was uncle's birthday and we went to airport for my parents, so today whom?"

"You got it wrong. Come down, now and yeah don't let dad know we are meeting."

Without any further conversation Jisoo cut the line leaving a confused Taehyung behind.

"Your daughter wants to meet at the garage now."

Ji-hoon was surprised that Taehyung told him about their meeting and another reason was that Jisoo wanted to meet.

"Go."

"Are you serious?"

"Yes."

"I swear to god oneday you dad, daughter will be the death of me. Your family confuses me." Ji-hoon can feel the anger in his voice.

"Go Taehyung she is waiting."

"Waiting for what? Chop my heart into pieces."

"You better go."

Taehyung was utterly confused that few days ago he was trying to keep them apart and today the same man is pushing him towards his daughter. Frustrated he decided to go down.

There he saw her pacing back and forth in the garage, waiting for him. He strolled towards her letting her know his presence.

Jisoo looked towards him and her heart pumped more than seventy two times. She not knowing how to present the situation or what to speak she fumbled.

"Umm... Taehyung... I... you... I mean you...not you but I...no not me...but me." It is the first time he saw her fumbling on her words. All his anger from earlier melted in a heart beat.

"Jisoo, what happened?" He said in a soft toned making it soothing.

"Let's get married."

"What?!"

"Yes. Taehyung, I am serious. Let's get away from here and get married."

"Stop joking around, Jisoo." Taehyung said in a 'duh' tone. After some time he saw the truth in her eyes, the vulnerable state.

"Ok fine. But why do you wanna run away?"

"Cause I love you. And... and I can't marry Jin."

"You say you love me. But I never felt it."

"You never felt it because you never noticed it. When you played that stupid game with those coffee beans I figured we have the same idea of family. We both love our family. Then we became friends. When I saw you with that girl, Irene. I was heartbroken. Then next day I saw her calling you in the morning. I got jealous and went to library and switched my phone off. Then again when you asked me for lunch I waited so long hoping to see you. But dad came with you. I used to sit with book infront of you so that I can see you. When you fought for me against those boys from college I knew I have deep feelings for you. When dad said that he had fixed my marriage with Jin I glanced your way not once but thrice. But you remained quiet. I got very angry and hurted so I said yes. Today when that ring was placed on your finger I knew you were hurt so I did that. Please, I love you. Don't you?"

Taehyung is dump found with the new confession he heard. He blinked twice to confirm that whether he is dreaming or not.

"Oh god!! Jisoo." Without saying anything he hugged her burying his face in the crook of her neck.

"I take that as yes."

"Ofcourse I love you, Jisoo. You don't know how long I waited."

"Why didn't you said anything?"

"You acted like you wanted me as your friend nothing else so how could I...."

"I was scared. Scared that I will hurt dad. Taehyung, let's go away from here. Let's get married."

"But your dad..."

"Taehyung, he wants the best for me. If I marry Jin he would be happy but eventually that happines will drain out as I can't be happy with Jin. If I marry you he will be upset for now. But for a lifetime when he will see me happy he will accept. He loves me. And he gave his word to their family so what do you expect."

Taehyung nodded. After saying last time 'I love you's they went back to their rooms.

"Your daughter said she loves me so..." He said Ji-hoon the moment he entered the room and saw him sitting on the bed looking at the childhood pictures of Jisoo.

"So what you decided?" Ji-hoon asked keeping an emotionless face. He knew something was down with Jisoo. He sensed it. But didn't thought it will really happen.

"To take her home. Tomorrow early morning, 5am is the flight..." He couldn't complete the sentence.

"Where you two will go?"

"To my house." Ji-hoon nodded.

"Taehyung... Keep her happy. Please I love her more than anything."

"Ji-hoon you know...."

"I know. I know. Have some rest till then."

"I have to pack my bags."

With that he started to pack his bags. Ji-hoon faced the other side and thought how to face people in the morning.

Morning came fast than expected. Ji-hoon saw the clothes of Taehyung and he himself is absent. Tensed he went outside.

"Ji-hoon, call Taehyung please. He said he will take care of the wedding cake. Where is he?" Soo-min asked.

"Soo-min I'll take care of that." Not been able to speak out the truth. Soo-min raise his eyebrows.

"Okay, I'll wake Jisoo up, then."

Soo-min banged Jisoo's door and told her to wake up.

"Actually yesterday we had a dad daughter night. So maybe she is tired."

"Excellent."

He sat on the sofa nervous how to speak out the truth. Meanwhile Jisoo came out from his room wearing the usual night dress with a towel hanging on her shoulder. Stunned at her presence he rushed to the room and called Taehyung. On third ring Taehyung answered.

"Taehyung, Jisoo is here. So, where are you?"

"Going back home."

"But why?"

"I consider you as my friend, uncle. I wouldn't make a mistake to hurt you by taking Jisoo away. I don't wanna humiliate you. I also considered aunty as my mother. It would have been unfair to you guys if I did that thing. Sacrificing is tough. I learnt it from my friend, Irene. And trust me I respect you way to much to be the reason behind your insult. Friends don't do that. Sorry, I won't be able to attend Jisoo's wedding." Taehyung said.

"What about your job?"

"I took few days off. Anyways uncle, it's my flight time. Bye friend. Don't forget you promised me a lifetime friendship." He said with a slight sad chuckle.
