Flower
Shinobu has never been much of an artist as much as she hates to admit it, too busy taking care of kids who aren't careful enough, luckily, she has a resident art teacher she can ask for help.
A/N: Shinobu is the Nurse and Giyuu is the Art Teacher who occasionally subs in for Sanemi, the gym teacher when he's not there. Shinobu's the nurse cause I don't feel comfortable writing teacher-student relationships.

Shinobu always loved drawing or at least doodling.
She wasn't the best out there, she wasn't as good as Van Gogh or Leonardo da Vinci but she dabbled in it. In high school, she'd occasionally doodle on the side of her notebook but never really pursued it, and even after school in college she never had the time with her studies taking up almost all the time she had. Then she had to pass the necessary examination, then pass the school nurse certificate exam, then search for a job and at that point, she had forgotten completely about drawing at that point.
After a few failed efforts, she ended up getting hired at Kimetsu no Yaiba High, the students there are colorful, each faces far different from the other that you could easily tell one from another. And the teachers... Oh, don't get her started on the teachers every single one made her have to do a double-take to make sure she saw things right.
Each one was different than the other, each had their own style, personality, and subject but when you looked at them you would never be able to guess who taught what subject.
For example, you had Sanemi Shinazugawa, the resident gym teacher, and oh god, he fit the role too perfectly but horribly at the same time. He was loud and demanding, strict and mean, and would more than often have a scowl on his face. You wouldn't want to see him grin because when he did he looked like a psycho with all the scars littered across his body but appearance aside he got along great with the English teacher, her older sister. No student dared to speak behind his back for fear he'd hear them, he was the embodiment of 'Don't say I can't because you can' but x100.
Then you had her soon-to-be close friend Mitsuri Kanroji, their resident math and drama/theater teacher, she was usually everyone's favorite teacher along with Gyomei. While math was the primary thing she taught, she also hosted the drama/theater club, where she's usually hosting a musical or play at least once a year. Romeo and Juliet was the play she often loved telling.
Then you had the school's resident art teacher of 3 years- now 5 -, Giyuu Tomioka, who specialized in watercolor painting but he branched out in other types. He was quiet and cold, somewhat aloof, but when it came to art he was calculating and precise, after a few strokes of his brush it seemed somewhat impossible how it's turn out into a coherent piece than before you knew it you were starring at something that could only be considered beautiful.
She only ended up officially meeting him during her lunch break a few days later, it was her lunch break, not so quietly, she slipped the door open to his room which was as big as a classroom. There were easels propped against the wall, shelves against the back wall with supplies, in the far right corner there was a closet labeled 'Storage Closet' and in the middle of the room there were multiple dark mahogany tables with two chairs at each side, with cups of supplies in the middle and at the front was a chalkboard, and a wooden desk in front of all, and at the said desk with just the man she was looking for.
Giyuu was hunched over his desk, his hand moving rapidly, then pausing, then doing it again. He looked completely zoned out to whatever was around him. It comes with the craft, she's always like that when it comes to her own.
Making her footsteps as loud as possible, she saunters towards him with a sly smile, walking behind him and peaking over his shoulder, it looked nothing more like chicken-scratch but she knew that it'd turn out into something beautiful, but she knew how he could make it even more beautiful. Laying a careful hand on his shoulder, he flinched once it made contact, whipping his head towards her with wide eyes.
"Kocho?" He quietly asked, tilting his head to the side. "Hey Tomioka-san~" She giggled, "What'cha drawing there? Is it me? Because it should be me," She grinned down at him, leaning down and laying her head on his to peer down at his drawing. "I would really like to see you draw me," She tilts her head and stares back at the sketchbook, wondering what she'd look if she was drawn using watercolors.
Below her, he shakes his head and continues to draw. "I don't draw people, Kocho,"
"Then can you draw me something?"
"No,"
"But I'm new,"
He didn't answer in favor of continuing to draw. She frowned and walked around to his left side and poked his cheek. "Tomioka!" He ignores her.
"To-mi-oka-san! Answer me!" Once again he ignores her.
She continues to pester him, losing track of time and then the bell rings and she realizes she just wasted her entire lunch hour trying to get a man to draw her.
Already able to hear the clamber in the hallway, she slinks her way back to her office and slumps into the chair behind the desk with a sigh.
She's g going to get him to draw her something at least.

So Shinobu promptly continues to annoy him to draw her something.
Whether it be her visiting him on her off-hours or him visiting her when he had to bring a student to the nurse's office because they accidentally grabbed the wrong cup and drank paint water or he accidentally did the same himself and a boy named Tanjiro came told her about it. Or maybe it was him stopping a fight between two students and bringing them to get patched up before he brought them to the principal's office. He was mostly quiet during their visits, she usually had to fill the silence, however, that wasn't their only interactions.
Sometimes they had hosted school field trips together, or she'd forecfully drag him along to the bar so he could interact with the other teachers. He'd go to the teacher meetings they had but mostly he was quiet no matter the situation at hand. So you can imagine her surprise when one day he prompts an idea to her while she's bugging him to draw her.
"You can try drawing yourself," He tells her one day while turning around to look at her. "I-" She raises her finger to object but falls short of a sentence. "Or you can stay simple, and draw a flower,"
"A flower?..." She quietly asks, he shrugs. "A flower,"
"What kind?"
"Any kind,"
She places her hand on her hip with a quirked brow. "Well you the art teacher, don't you think you should get me supplies?" He nods and gestures for her to sit down at the table across from his desk. She walks towards it and pulls out the chair, sitting down and smoothing out her pants. Patiently, she watches as he walks across the room to go get supplies from the shelves.
Shinobu kicked her feet back and forth, laying her head on the palm of her hands as she watched him scramble around to get supplies. It wasn't exactly what she wanted but she'd work her way up from here. She watched as he grabbed a piece of paper and walking towards her, laying it in front of her and grabbing a pencil from the cup in the middle, and handed it to her. "It's not the material you should use, but it's good for a starter,"
She pouts at him, folding her arms. "Are you saying I'm no good? How heartless!" She feigns disappointment and just as she expected, he fumbles and stutters to explain himself. "Kocho, I'm not-" She laughs and nudges his shoulder.
"Take a joke Tomioka-san!" He frowned down at her. "Now, shoo! I have work to do," She waves him away from her and he walks away to go sit behind his desk. Then she gets to work to start drawing.
Shinobu knows she has potential, as she's previously said she's drawn before but fell out of it so she just needs to get back in the rhythm of things. Trying her best to focus, she roughly dragged her pencil across the paper, making random lines at random places trying her best to make the most detailed flower she can, not a cartoonish one, and show him how good she is at drawing. As she manages to get half of the petals done a certain someone broke her out of her focus.
"Wait- hold on, here," His voice honest to god surprised her, she had no idea he had moved to where he previously was but apparently he did and was now right behind her.
Giyuu lays his callused hand on top of hers, gently but meticulously guiding her in gentle strokes of the pencil, decreasing the pressure she had previously been using.
His breath ghosts her neck as he occasionally speaks, and staying focused gets increasingly harder and harder as the seconds pass by. Despite her internal protests, her face grows increasingly warm. Seconds seem to blend into what seems like hours as he guides her along, his low voice is growing to become music to her ears.
He picks up her hand slightly above the paper and slowly leads it down to draw the flower's stem, his hot breath ghosting over he neck as he leans forward that his head is almost resting on her shoulder. If she doesn't do something soon, she might actually combust from how hot her face is.
So, after a few moments of contemplation, she tilts her head towards him, faces all too close, that her nose almost bumping into his but he pulls away from her, standing up and staring down at something in front of her.
Shinobu traces his gaze and he's starring down at the paper, it's supposed to be a flower, but some lines are too thick and dark contrasting with the thin light ones, half detailed and the other half poorly drawn without any. It really shows the differing level of skill between the two. He shoves his hands in his pockets and stares her right in her eyes. "Your lines are too thick and you're putting too much pressure when you're supposed to be at the sketching phase. If your lines are too dark it'll be harder to erase and will leave marks, which is why it's better to draw lighter so you can erase mistakes and correct them in the finished product."
Any previous tension between the two immediately dissipated and she felt like she was back in high school getting scolded by a teacher. "Don't worry about details, shading, color, and depth, for now, you should work on your lines first." And she really thought this was going to go somewhere else, she was severely wrong.
"Now," He started, "leave," and then Giyuu walked off towards the other end of the room towards the shelves of supplies. She felt her eye twitch and went over the previous events in her head.
"I have a class Kocho," He dryly states without looking towards her.
She feels her face flush and she stiffly stands up, grabbing the paper and it crumbles slightly under her hand, she harshly stuffs it in her pocket and storms out of the room, making her stomps apparently. She slams the door open and steps out of the room. Right as she's about to slam the door shut, she turns on her heels and peeks into the room. Currently, he's holding a stack of papers and is going to place them on his desk.
She resists the urge to frown at him but settles for a retort. "This is why no one likes you Tomioka-san, your so mean!" Then she turns on her heels and walks off.
As Shinobu is walking off, she hears a distant voice calling out to her. "It's called constructive criticism!" She already knows who it is which makes her cheeks burn.
She'll show him, she'll show him how good at art she is.
A/N: As someone who draws, I'm just going to say this, no, we will not draw you if you ask us. That's a really weird thing to ask especially if you're a stranger too.
