(AAARRRGH X Reader)

You tapped the keys of your laptop vigorously, copying the notes that you'd taken over the past school year and recalling facts that you'd forgotten over the past school year. You decided to lay on your stomach so you set the laptop on top of AAARRRGH's wide head and flip onto your stomach, hoping that this position would make it easier to concentrate.

You hissed under your breath as you slide the computer in your direction, attempting not to disturb the giant troll you rested on. You began to type again, Algebra notes from Miss Jannett, you liked the teacher when she was your drama director, not your Algebra teacher. AAARRRGH's steady breath lifted you up and down as he dozed, his soft green fur tickled your nose as you typed. He was often able to calm you down without even realizing it, maybe that was what made your relationship with him work.

You could almost feel your stress setting in as you typed your tenth page of notes, this wasn't healthy, cramming the way you were so used too. You spun the class ring on your right hand with one finger and your knee began to bounce with frustration.

Nope, you would not let yourself get to the point where you started crying for no reason, you did that last year and almost failed all your tests. You inhaled deeply taking in the wet stone smell and the mossy scent of the troll under you, hoping to whatever god up there, you would calm down.

AAARRRGH let out ha huffing snore that made you smile.

You let out a small hiss and twine your fingers into AAARRRGH's deep green fur.

You gently let go of the Kruberas' fur and focus on your computer again.

Ten. You are desperate to click to another tab and distract yourself from this stupid subject but with only 12 hours till the test and very poor knowledge of Algebra? You needed to study all you could. Even if it took all night. You caught the noise of Blinky tripping over a pile of books and swearing under his breath, you smile, knowing that you weren't the only one having trouble. 

Senior year and the stress were just as high as the end of Junior year, Sophmore year and Freshmen year. Last day of testing? Stressful? Two days till graduation? The end of the world at this rate. Oh yeah, and stressful.  You feel like hitting something but you don't want to disturb the troll.

You groan and flop backward, letting AAARRRGHs' breaths lift you up and down, a soft purring escaping from the troll. You smile and the purring fills your ears and you start to relax. You pat the green furball and whisper a quiet "Thank you". You know he's asleep but still, thanks were in order.

You sit up again and begin to type the notes again, everything calming down slightly. Your heartbeat was slowing back to its normal pace. Then you sneezed.

You let out a small shriek as AAARRRGH jolts upwards in a panic, sending you, your computer and your papers flying onto the ground. You look up at the troll from the ground with a small smirk on your face and you laugh. AAARRRGH looks at you and then smiles, he presses his nose to your cheek and wraps you in a hug.

His ears perk up as you both hear a large bang and Blinky shouts from deep in the library "CURSES!!"

You look at AAARRRGH and you both laugh, he helps you pick up your papers and almost smashes your computer, you almost wish he would. You lean against his side and let him wrap his large body around you.

"I'll be finished in a minuet," You tell him ", Just a few more lines and I'll be done."

"Okay."
