3rd POV

Its only been a day since they snuck into Stricklers secret room. Since they couldn't find the bridge location, at least they've taken the fetch. That way there won't be anymore kidnappings babies. Right now everyone is gathered in Toby's room while Aarg is playing video games as Toby just got back from looking for help.

YN: So, what did NotEnrique say?

Toby: He said he won't do it, even for bunch of non-washed socks.

YN: Might as well give it to Aarg.

Toby: What about Jim?

YN points at Jim who's having trouble with his amulet.

Jim: What good is this amulet if it can't help me with this? Claire's brother is trapped somewhere in the darklands, and there's nothing I can do about it?

Blinky: Unfortunately, there is nothing any one of us can do.

Jim: What about the furgolator machine? If I can shrink down, maybe-

YN: Whoa slow down there, Jim! That's a good and terrible idea.

Jim: What do you mean?

YN: Getting in with shrunken size is one thing. But how do we get out when it wears off? We'll be trapped there with an army of gumm-gumms.

Blinky: And the darklands is a black labyrinth, master Jim. Simply finding baby Enrique would be a nigh impossible task of its own.

Aarg: Gunmar.

Blinky: Aarg is right. If any of us were foolish enough to cross over, under no circumstances could you be saved, at risk of freeing Gunmar.

Jim: But, what if-

Aarg interrupted by slamming the floor.

Aarg: Under no circumstances!

Toby: Dude, don't be reckless! You almost just lost a golden tuna roll! Sit down. Relax.-

YN: Reckless? Look who's trying to be reckless on going in the darklands!

Jim: How am I reckless!? This is Enrique we're talking about-

YN: You're not looking at a bigger picture!

YN slams the desk which shaken Jim while leaving the desk crack.

YN: When I took a peek through the fetch, I didn't just see the darklands, i heard "his" voice.

Jim: Gunmar?

YN: (Nods.) I was only lucky to get out of there before I lost my head.

YN sat down and sigh deeply.

YN: I'm sorry. Its just that we're not ready to do both of them.

Jim hold out his amulet to glance it before speaking to Blinky.

Jim: What happened to the Trollhunter answering every call?

Blinky: You have a strong heart, master Jim, a quality rarely seen in trolls. I believe, one day, you will answer that child's call, but that day cannot be today.

YN: I'm sorry, Jim. We just can't be too hasty. But this is like walking on a ice lake that's very thin.

Suddenly the gnome exit the dollhouse and volunteers to enter the darklands which they understand what he's trying to say.

Toby: Chompsky, no! Its too much to ask.

YN: It will be dangerous.

The gnome nods, certain that he'll be willing to take the chance. It was then finally decided as they tied the gnome with the rope.

Jim: Be careful. Its dangerous in the darklands. When you find Claire's brother, just give us a tug and we'll get you back, okay?

The gnome gives a thumbs up before Blinky speaks.

Blinky: I have sorely misjudged you. Are are no vermin. You are a "ver-man."

Toby: Wait, she has something to say.

Toby hands the doll figure to chompsky as he said his goodbye to his beloved and hugs her. Afterwards, Chompsky jump in while Jim and YN are holding the rope.

Blinky: All we can do is hope.

Nothing has happened yet as the rope continue to extend.

Jim: Okay so far.

YN: Don't jinx us, Jim!

Suddenly they felt a tug from the fetch.

Jim: Oh! Hey! Hey, I just felt a tug!

Toby: Quick! Pull him in!

They do as he said until suddenly the rope started to pull more as they try to hold on but.

YN: Whoa, whoa!

Toby: Hey, hey! Grab it! Grab it!

Jim: We are!

Everybody grab on and pull until the rope snap.

Jim: Oh, no!

Toby: Chompsky! No!

Toby takes a peek but Aarg pull him out before something bad would happen.

Jim: Oh, no.

YN: This was a mistake, we should've never let him risk his life.

Blinky: He's a scrappy creature, Tobias.
If anyone can survive there, it's him.
Still want that furgolator now?

They were then interrupted by a tapping noise which they see NotEnrique is knocking the window.

NotEnrique: Open up! Let me in!

Jim: What's he doing here?

Jim open the window and let NotEnrique enter before explaining.

NotEnrique: A goblin came at me. I made mincemeat out of him, but now, the rest of 'em want their pound of flesh.
I'm lucky to have escaped with only a soiled diaper!

Blinky: You've drawn the ire of goblin vengeance and have led them- (Slams NotEnrique to the desk.) -here!

Jim: Blinky, take it easy!

NotEnrique: Relax! They think the girl did it. Now, they're after her.

Jim: (Slams NotEnrique to the desk.) They think Claire's responsible? They're gonna go after her! I have to save her!

NotEnrique: Ain't no one goin' after him? Bular's got all the bridge pieces.

Toby: (Slams NotEnrique to the desk.) They've got every piece of Killahead Bridge!?

NotEnrique: And now, I hear all they need is the boy.

Blinky: We mustn't lose sight of Master Jim. Toby, Aaarrrgghh, you protect the Trollhunter.

Aarg grabs Toby and tries to pass through the door which is too small while Toby looks at NotEnrique.

Toby: You are despicable.

YN: I don't get it. Why do they need Jim? I thought they needed the amulet.

NotEnrique: That's because Jim has the fake one.

YN: (Slams NotEnrique to the desk.) Are you saying that they have the amulet!?

NotEnrique: Oh will you stop slamming me against the table!?

YN: Jim and Aarg are going after Jim.

Blinky: Then it is up to us then.

NotEnrique: What are you gonna do?

Blinky: By my six eyes, we will find the bridge if it kills me.

YN: Either you tell us where it is or I'll squeeze you till your rocky eyes pop out.

NotEnrique whimpers in fear.

Time skip, YN POV

NotEnrique lead us to the killahead bridge through the sewers, judging through my seismic senses. It looks like we're heading to museum. Just like before.

YN: Blinky, this is the same place where we found the museum when we first met Nomura.

Blinky: I should've put my trust more into you three. But now we must see to be sure.

NotEnrique: We're here, its just above us.

NotEnrique points up and we see the ladder leading to the surface. Blinky was about to climb up but I stop him.

YN: Blinky, wait. Lets check first.

I stomp my feet, using my seismic senses to see if there's anyone above.

YN: Odd, there's no one up there.

Blinky climbs up and takes a peek.

Blinky: Great Gronka Morka, the changeling was right! The bridge is complete, and it was here the whole time! Oh, dear.

YN: What is it Blinky?

Suddenly Blinky was pulled up and I immediately climb up only to see it was Bular who has Blinky.

YN: Blinky!

I summoned my staff and swing at his leg.

Forcing Bular to drop my troll friend before I knock him away by throwing a huge stone against the wall.

Bular: (Growls.) An earthbender. Now this will be entertaining.

Bular draw his swords.

YN: Blinky, run! Warn the others!

Blinky: I will not leave you, master YN.

YN: No time, go!

Bular roars and leap towards us but threw another stone at him. Bular deflected it yet gave me enough time to block his swords. He did strike a few more until I saw an opening to counter attack.

Enraged, Bular swing his sword from above and I instantly leap back before rushing towards Bular and use his swords for support and kick right to Bulars face.

Once I landed, I slam the ground bringing 2 stone pillars and throw piece by piece at Bular as he shields his face with his swords.

Bular then throws his sword towards me and I quickly block with a stone wall as it breaks down by the impact. How, this gave me an idea and I act quickly to use the broken stones as a armor.

We both charge and I manage to punch his face by allowing it to hit my shielded shoulder for an opening. Even though my stone armor took a lot of damage.

Bular sword slipped from his hand, but he roars enrage and goes for the punch which i manage to caught before going for another punch, but he caught my punch as well where we both try to overpower against each other.

Bular: (Chuckles.) Like father and like son.

YN: Figured you were the one who fought him.

Bular: Oh I did, after he scream in agony before I did the same to your mother. Too bad none of you won't see my father claiming this world from your people.

YN: I'd rather die before I see your lousy father take this world!

With all my strength I stomp my feet and a stone pillar rise to knock Bular above before I punch couple times to his stomach.

Right when I gave him a uppercut, Bular retaliate and swings a powerful punch at me. Despite the stone armor protected me, it fell apart after the punch. But that didn't stop me from fighting as I manage to trap him by sinking his limbs to the ground and was about to swing another punch until I was interrupted by a familiar voice.

???: You'd be wise to stand down, YN.

I look back and see unfamiliar changeling who's holding a knife at Blinkys throat.

He look unfamiliar, but his voice was definitely familiar.

YN: Strickler...

Strickler: Of course, I figured you'd would be here and detected us. But of course I did took a precocious to ensure you don't. Now stand down or your troll friend gets it.

Blinky: Forget about me, master YN. Run!-

Strickler: If you value your friends lives, then you will do as I say.

I can still fight, but not at the lives of my friends in line when its in the hands of my enemy. Having no choice but to stand down as the remaining of my stone armor fell off before raising my hand.

Blinky: No, master YN!

A goblin grabbed my weapons before Bular chuckles.

Bular: Wise to stand down before you die.

Bular raise his sword until Strickler stops him from finishing me off.

Strickler: We need them alive as hostages if we are to bring the boy here without any tricks.

Bular: (Growls.) Fine. Luckily, we have plans for you earthbender.

Bular grabbed me as the goblins arrive with a huge cage made out of metal. When he toss me inside and locks the cage, the light only came from a small gap. What's worst is that they're chaining up the cage to prevent me from using earthbending from underneath.

YN: You won't get away with this!

Bular: Don't be so sure, time to see how much does young Atlas value your lives until my father's return.

I angrily hit the wall of the metal, but only to hurt my hands.

Strickler: Your phone, if you may.

YN: No.

Strickler: Don't forget, Blinky life is in your hands.

I hesitated at first but I couldn't let Blinky die because of me. Having no choice but to cooperate and hand him my phone. Strickler wanted to use the phone to send a voicemail to Jim with Blinkly speaking.

Blinky: Master Jim, you must listen to me carefully. They've captured me and master YN. They want you to come to the bridge...alone.

YN: Jim, don't do it!

Blinky: Its a trap! Don't come!

Strickler: Give me that!

Strickler snatch the phone from Blinky to speak.

Strickler: It appears things have grown awkward, Mr. Lake. Meet me in the alley beside the theater if you ever want to see your friends again.

Blinky: Don't open the bridge! Under no circumstances!

YN: Forget about us!

Bular: Quiet human!

Bular hits the cage, causing me to hit against the metal wall.

Strickler: Now its up to him to whether he shows up for not. All according to plan.

I keep hitting the steel wall until I sit down, resting my hands from all the bruises it took from hitting the cage. I failed my friends...

Time skip to morning.

Morning came but the rain came down heavily by the sound of it. So far there hasn't been any word from Jim nor my friends. I was still sleeping until I felt a vibration from the cage. It felt like a goblin near- no wait, NotEnrique.

YN: What do you want, NotEnrique?

NotEnrique: Just making sure you don't try any funny business.

YN: Come on, this is metal. I can't bend it, you idiot baby.

NotEnrique: Hey, at least I lead you guys here. Yeesh. For a guy who can earthbend, you sure can't bend metal even though metal is from earth.

NotEnrique leaves as I sigh. Its useless, I can't crush the metal... Metal... Metal bending? Can it be possible? I stand up and close my eyes before running my hands on the wall until I bang my hands against the wall. Revealing tiny rocks hidden inside the metal.

YN: Whoa...

I try hitting the metal dozen of times but it didn't make any dent.

YN: Come on. I have to try. Focus...

Toby: Can't you just metal bend?

YN: That's not possible, Tobes. That doesn't exist.

I start hitting every wall while feeling the seismic of it. Taking deep breaths as I kept hitting the walls.

UN: you're stronger as the earth and the iron within your will. Don't give up.

YN: 'Be iron and steel, iron and steel. Iron and steel!'

With one final hit, I manage to dent it completely which surprises me.

YN: Whoa, that's actually worked. (Grin.) YN, you rule.

Time skip, Jim POV

Last might, things has been crazy thanks to NotEnrique. Warning Claire about the goblins, getting my amulet back, and worst part is I couldn't tell my mom what is really happening. But now this ends today someway. Despite the heavy rain, I arrive at the alley with my bike where Strickler told me to be and waited until Strickler arrive.

Strickler: So, you did come alone. This just might be the first time you've followed my instructions to the letter. You're learning.

Jim: Where's Blinky and YN.

Suddenly the goblin jump on my back before pulling my amulet out to confirm its the real one.

Strickler: It looks like all is in order. Follow me. This will be over soon.

I follow him to where he's heading to the museum.

Jim: The museum? The bridge was here the entire time?

Strickler: After we moved it, we knew it would be the very last place you'd look.

Soon we enter the museum which surprisingly no one else is here.

Strickler: Just between you and me, when Gunmar rules the surface, I'll do my best to look after your mother.

Jim: (Scoff.) So kind of you.

3rd POV

Meanwhile, we see everybody js gather in the bridge where blinky still hanging upside down and YN was still in the cage.

Blinky: He won't come, Bular. Jim is a trained and true Trollhunter.-

Suddenly Jim arrive with Strickler troll form.

Blinky: Oh, master Jim, why did you not heed my warning?

Jim: You promised we'd build that Vespa together. Remember?

YN: Wow, way to go Blinky.

Jim: Now, cut them down. I brought the amulet.

Bular: Open the bridge. I will not ask again.

NotEnrique: Sorry, kid. Its business.

Jim walks up to the bridge while his friends try to stop him.

Blinky: No, master Jim, don't do this! If you release Gunmar and his Gumm-gumm army, you will be unleashing darkness!

Jim ignores is as he pulls his amulet and approaches the bridge.

Blinky: The world will not survive Gunmars reign! One troll's life is hardly worth putting everyone at risk!

While Blinky tries to stop Jim, YN spits his hands before rubbing them together.

YN: (Whispers.) Time to show them the iron will.

YN grabs the metal and quietly bends it since everyone was distracted to see the bridge to be open.

Blinky: For the glory of merlin, not another step!

Suddenly they hear a electronic beep.

Nomura: He's wearing a tracking device. (To Strickler.) You said the Trollhunter was alone!

Jim: Not Trollhunter. (Smirk.) Trollhunters!

Just then Toby, Aarg, and Draal arrive with toby covered in scrapped metals as an armor while holding a bat.

Toby: I am Toby! Grandson of Nana! Fan or hard rock!

Toby press his phone attached to his armor with tape as it plays a jazz which got everyone awkward.

Toby: Sorry, wrong playlist. Hold on one second.

YN: Take your time, Tobes.

Toby: Thanks. Okay, here it is!

Toby plays a rock music as everyone charge in the fight.

Jim: For the glory of merlin, daylight is my to command!

Bular: Kill them all!

Bular roars and swing his sword towards Jim who blocks it with his own sword before out of nowhere, YN threw the cage at Bular while wearing a metal on his hands and holding the chain. 

Bular: (Shock.) How!?

YN: Metal bend sucka!

Draal rolls towards Bular to knock him away from the humans.

Draal: I am Draal the deadly, son of Kanjigar, and you will suffer for my father's death!

Toby: Kill them all!

Aarg tackles Nomura while NotEnrique took the opportunity to punch the troll.

NotEnrique: I didn't mean to do that.

Strickler: Bad baby!

Strickler kicks him away before Toby charges at him.

Strickler: Toby Domzalski! You are in way over your-

Toby swing his bat right to Stricklers grok-nuts as the changeling wails in pain.

Toby: Rule number 3!

Jim told Toby to free Blinky while they deal with the fight before Strickler quickly recovers. The fight kept on until Strickler got the upper hand again Jim.

Strickler: You disappoint me...when I had such high hopes for you.

Strickler grabs Jim's hand to force him to grab his amulet before forcing him to open the bridge which he successfully did.

Jim: No, no, no!

The bridge activated and opens the portal before it starts sucking everything while everyone tries to old on.

NotEnrique: Hey, people! The Bridge! I ain't ready to let go of this world.
Wah!

NotEnrique slipped but grabs on the edge of the bridge.

NotEnrique: Seriously, is no one gonna turn this blasted thing off? Fine, I'll do it!

Strickler: Not many people are lucky enough to say they were there when history was made.

NotEnrique: Suzy, this is for you!

NotEnrique tries to pull the amulet off as they all hear Gunmars echoed voice.

Gunmar: Son!

Bular: Father!

Blinky: We've failed!

YN: Oh no!

Strickler: Nothing can stop his return!

Draal had enough and roars as he throws Nomura away before climbing on the bridge and forcefully pulling the amulet off. Nomura was about to stop him until YN interfere.

YN: Not you don't!

YN knocks Nomura away and she fell before the portal pulls her in.

Nomura: No!

With nothing to grab, she fell in the portal while screaming. Draal still tries to pull the amulet off of the bridge while Jim manage to free himself.

Jim: No! Let go, Draal! Let go!

Bular: No! No! Don't let him!

Blinky: YN, the bridge!

YN nods understandably and slammed the bridge with his bare fist. Causing a huge impact which caused a cloud of smoke. Afterwards, they see the bridge is destroyed and Jim saw Draal is down.

Jim: Draal!

Jim and YN rush to check on Draal where they see his right arm fell apart. Revealing that he was holding the amulet on it.

YN: Draal?

Draal: I'd hand you the amulet, but-

Jim: You're alive!

They hear snarling and say Bular was under the rubble.

Blinky: Master Jim, we must leave at once!

Jim: Help me, Aarg!

Aarg help support Draal as they head to the sewers while Bular freed himself from the rubble and notice the portal is closed.

Bular: Father!

Once they were about to jump in, they see that is flooding inside.

Jim: Oh, you gotta be kidding me!

Toby: No way! I'm not gonna jump in the sewer! There's gotta be a chicken surprise down there! Maybe two!

YN: You got a better idea!?

Bular: ROAR!

Toby: Bon appatit!

Blinky: With expediency, compatriots!

YN: Anchors away!

Before Bular could do anything, they all jump in the sewers.

Bular: Cowards! Come face your end!

While inside the flooded sewers, Aarg manage to catch everyone except for Jim and YN who were beyond his reach. YN saw the exit cage and grabs Jim before swimming towards it. That was until Bular chase after them and crash through the cage where they reached the surface leading to the bridge.

YN uses the chain with his metal bending to hook on the bridge.

YN: Jim, grab my hand!

Jim grabs it and they pull back up to under the bridge which Bular suddenly appears.

Bular: Yet another Trollhunter killed under the same bridge. Only with an earthbender this time.

Jim: For the glory of Merlin, daylight is mine to command!

Bular was about to kick Jim until YN pulls his friend away as they're at the edge of the bridge.

Bular: No more running, daylight if fading.

Jim: You sure about that?

Jim summoned his sword while YN got his chain ready to swing.

YN: Just you an us, Bular! Lets end this right here!

They all clash their weapons together while trying to evade Bulars attack. Despite a few sunlight, they still had the advantage as Jim jump over and slashes Bulars back before disappearing with a help of YN who are underneath the metals.

Bular: You want to know where the baby is? Don't you? I can give him back to you.

Jim sneakly goes for the attack from behind but Bular caught him before he could hit the troll.

Jim: You kill me and the amulet will never open the Bridge.

Bular: There will always be other Trollhunters.

Before Bular could do anything, YN threw his chain at Bulars horns and pulling him from behind. Causing him to let Jim go.

Jim: You want to see Dad. I get it, trust me. But we don't always get what we want.

Bular roars enraged until YN pulls him towards the sunlight.

YN: Dad or not, you'll never see Gunmar take this world!

Bular grabs the chain and throws YN against the wall.

Jim backs away and slipped before he attached his sword to the bridge from falling.

Bular: Shame. I'd hoped your death would be more entertaining than Kanjigar's.

Having no choice, Jim let go but Bular caught him and slam him against the wall.

Bular: The amulet should never have chosen a human. You're too soft. Easy to kill!

Bular press Jim against the wall, squeezing him as his friends got out of the water and saw Jim is losing the fight.

Toby: Jim! Oh, no!

Bular: (Laughing.) Just in time to see their Trollhunter slain.

???: Not today!

Bular look back only to meet a structure steel hit right towards his face. This YN doing when he pulled a structure steel from the bridge.

Jim was freed from Bulars grasp.

Bular: You will die!

YN: Then I've had enough!

YN blocks Bular sword with his armored shoulder before grabbing it with his right hand and breaks Bulars arms with his other hand as Bulars screams while YN wrap the chain around his neck.

YN: Time to show you the real strength humanity! Now, Jim!

Jim quickly recovered and stabs Bular with his sword.

Jim: Now that's daylight for you!

YN let go of the chain to let Bular fall off the bridge and downs beneath the water.

YN: You alright, Jim?

Jim: I'm fine, you?

YN: Not enough to kill me.

Jim: Come on, lets get out of here.

YN nods and they climb up the to surface of the bridge where they're friends arrive.

Toby: You're alive!

Blinky: Master Jim! Master YN!

Draal: Fleshbags!

Aarg: Jim! YN!

Toby hugs his human friends.

Blinky: You've done it! I-I can't find the words.

Blinky joins the hug.

Toby: Dude! Victory hugging!

Aarg: Happy.

Aarg hugs them all together including Draal.

Jim: Guys, we're was almost squeezed to death. Ease up a little.

Aarg let them go.

Toby: I can't believe it. You guys killed Bular, the son of Gunmar, man!

Draal: (Sigh in releif.) My father has been avenged. Thank you, Trollhunter and earthbreaker.

Toby: And with minutes before your play starts! (Gasps.) Oh, no, the play! 

Jim: The play! I almost forgot!

Blinky: Hurry, Master Jim! Leave Killahead to us. We'll take care of-

Suddenly Bular appear and roars as he was about to kill Toby who's in front of him.

YN: Toby!

Aarg caught him and roars before punching him. Leaving Bular crushed completely.

Toby: Aarg, your oath

Aarg: Your life more important. Not pet. Wingman.

Toby: Ditto, buddy.

Toby happily hugs Aarg.

Toby: Now, let's go take care of that bridge and make sure it never opens again.

Blinky: And, you, Master Jim the play must go on.

Time skip

Jim made it to the play and it only took a few hours to the end of the play. With Jim laying down as Claire stand next to him.

Claire: I will kiss thy lips.

Claire kisses Jim where he smiled yet still kept his eyes close.

Claire: Thy lips are warm! Then, I'll be brief. O happy dagger! This is thy sheath.

Claire pretend that she stabbed herself with a face dagger before laying "dead" next to Jim.

Claire: There rust...and let me die.

The audience witnessed the play even Jim's friends and NotEnrique in his human form until Eli appears in the stage.

Eli: A glooming peace this morning with it brings. Go hence, to have more talk of these sad things. For never was a story of more woe than this of Juliet and her Romeo.

The audience cheers and applause as the stage closed.

Claire: We survived the play.

Jim: Did we? I thought we just died.

Claire: You actually showed up.

Jim: Well, you know, I try to keep my promises. And, Claire, I promise I'm gonna find your brother, even if it means crossing into the Darklands myself.

Just then, the stage open.

Jim: Remember to bow.

Claire hold Jim's hand as they bow together.

Claire: (Whispers.) You mean we are gonna find him together. Remember to smile!

Time skip to next day

The next day, the rain left and we see the trolls and the trio are celebrating in the trollmarket for Jim's victory.

Troll: All hail Jim, the Bular Slayer!

Everyone cheers as we see Draal had a robotic arm for his lost one while Toby walks by with some tacos.

Toby: Who wants tacos? Who wants tacos? Taco for you. Taco for you. Tacos for everybody!

Troll: Mm! This tastes better than socks!

Everybody cheers as Blinky speaks to Jim

Blinky: Don't let it go to your head, Master Jim. You still have training to do.
Hero's forge is unforgiving to those who are not afraid.

Jim: And don't forget midterms.

Vendel: Lighten up, Blinkous. Why do you always have to be such a grump? We have the Bridge. Trollmarket is safe once again.

YN: But don't forget about Strickler, he's still a threat.

Vendel: I trust our Trollhunter can handle it. And you too, Earthbreaker. He has an excellent trainer.

Time skip

The trio are now at the stairs where they view the entire trollmarket.

Toby: Well, you said you wanted adventure and something more.  Did that amulet help you find it?

Jim: Hmm... No.

Toby: (Coughs.) No?

Jim: You did.

Toby: (Smiles.) I knew you needed me.

YN: We needed each other, Tobes.

Jim: And I'm going to need you now more than ever, guys. I don't know how, but we are gonna get Claire's brother back.

Toby: That place is huge, Jim! Enrique could be anywhere! I wouldn't even know where to start looking.

YN: Then, there's Gunmar. It will be dangerous.

Jim: We'll figure it out. We always do.

And so then, Bulars reign end and the world is safe once again.....for now.
