The humans were free from the cage while the gnome looks for Blinky and Aarg who were captured by dictacious and Jim is fighting Nomura while Gunmar watches. Right now, the humans are looking for Jim as they run and ended up in a dead end where the huge skull is at.

Toby: We've been here before. We're running in circles.

YN: This is the closest I can get without us being spotted.

Claire: Wait, I can hear him. He's got to be on the other side of this skull!

Toby: I used to love mazes. Not anymore.

YN begins tapping the wall as it confused the others.

Claire: What are you doing?

YN: Aha, here we are. Mind your step.

Toby: What do you mean mind our step-

Without saying anything, YN press the nose as the skull opens to reveal a tunnel and caused Claire and Toby to fall inside.

YN: I thought I said mind their steps...

He jumps in as the skull closes. Meanwhile Jim is focusing on defense against Nomura as their blades clashes while he tries to be reasonable to the changeling.

Jim: No one dies today. We're going home!

He knocks Nomura back as he points his sword at her.

Jim: There's gotta be another way.

Suddenly his sword disappeared and Nomura took this opportunity to trip him and he fell before crawling away as he tries to summon his sword but fails. Nomura points her blade towards Jim's throat.

Nomura: Your will betrays you and so does your armor!

Gunmar: Enough, Nomura. You've proven your loyalty. Now, leave the final blow to me. Merlin's Trollhunter is mine.

???: Fine your own old wizard's Trollhunter, idiot!

Jim's friends arrive from the tunnel and fell except for YN who landed as surprised everyone to see the other humans.

Nomura: Your friends. You're not crazy.

Toby: Oh, everything hurts.

YN: Endure.

Claire: Jim!

Toby: Jim!

YN: Uh, not just Jim!

Gunmar: Humans? Here? The Bridge is open! Catch them!

Nomura: This way!

The humans follow the changeling to the gate.

Toby: It's locked!

The gumm-gumms charge at them while Nomura pulls out her swords. 

Nomura: You have to get us to the Bridge!

Toby: Let him follow us? We're not that crazy!

Nomura: Leave that to me.

Nomura throws her blade above where it hit the cage and release a stalkling to let it fight off the gumm-gumms while Gunmar was drawing powers from his throne.

Toby: There's a keyhole!

Claire: Holy sheeshkebab.

She pulls the key out from Toby's backpack.

Claire: The key! It's a crank!

Toby:  Don't just stare at it! Use it!

The stalkling continues its rampage until Gunmar caught it by the throat and chokes it to death before throwing it away.

YN: Uh, guys, now would be a good time.

Claire: What do you think I'm doing?

After a struggling to turn it, she successfully open the gate for them.

Toby: Come on, come on. Let's go, Jim.

They run off but YN uses his earthbending to block the gate but causing a debris and melting it with lava before he catches up with them.

Gunmar: The earthbender! Release my army!

Back with the others, Toby ask Jim about Nomura.

Toby: What is Nomura doing here?

Jim: She's with us.

Toby: You're supposed to be alone. Kanjigar said you had to be alone!

YN: Toby!

Jim: Wait, what?

Nomura: This way!-

YN: No, this way!

He grabs her and they run off, thanks to his seismic senses. Toby and Claire have a small talk while following. 

Claire: Wasn't expecting to find her here.

Toby: I know, right? And we're supposed to rescue Jim. Only Jim.

Claire: I don't know! You wanna be the one to tell her that?

Soon they ended up to a cliff.

Nomura: Wow, smart direction.

Jim: We can look for another way around!

YN: No time. Nomura, cut the chain. I've got an idea.

Nomura nods and does what he say as YN pulls the chain before swinging himself to the other side.

YN: We'll have to swing our way to the other side.

YN tosses the chain towards them and Nomura caught it before handing it to Jim.

Nomura: Youth before beauty.

Jim nods and decided to swing with Claire together twi the other side.

Jim: You ready?

Claire nods and they both swing together and fall on the other side with jump unexpectedly holding Claire.

Claire: Hey, watch your hands!

Jim: Oh, I really pictured that going more smoothly.

YN: You two want me to toss you guys back for your moment?

YN tosses the chain back for Nomura to tie it around Toby.

Toby: Thank you, Ms. Nomura

Nomura: I never liked you.

Toby: Might be a little tight. But that's fine.

Nomura double check to see its safe for Toby.

Nomura: Anything else I can get you?

Before Toby could say anything, Nomura pushes Toby towards the others. But the chain swings back and forth while the others try to grab him.

Toby: No, no, no, no, no!

Claire: Pump your legs, like you're on a swing!

The gumm-gumms are coming and Nomura made a jump towards Toby to force them to get closer to the others. But one of the gumm-gumms threw a spear and cut the chain as they fall. Without hesitation, YN jumps to grab the chain and uses his cable to attach the edge before he struggles to swings them towards the others and successfully ash the crashed there while YN climbs back up.

Toby: Thanks, Ms. Nomura.

Nomura: I still don't like you.

YN: One of you two, has got to lose some weight when we get back home for god sake.

They kept running after losing the gumm-gumms from their tail, but soon they hear something near.

Jim: Did you hear that?

Toby: (Nervous.) I'm hearing a lot of things, and I'm not liking any of it.

YN: Above!

They look and see its goblins but their color look more pale than the original goblins.

Claire: Goblins? I hate Goblins.

Nomura: There's too many!

Jim: Run!

They kept running from the goblins but the creatures were everywhere.

Toby: Not that way! It's like a goblin rainbow of death!

Soon they got to another cliff which is dead end.

Jim: A dead end!

Soon the goblins arrive to corner them.

Jim: They were herding us!

Claire: Herding? To what?

Nomura: Not what, who.

Soon Gunmar arrives with his glowing sword.

Gunmar: The Bridge. You will take me there.

Nomura: Stay away from the sword. He'll put you under his control!

Toby: Don't worry. I have a general rule to stay away from sharp things.

Nomura: (To Gunmar.) Stop toying with the children and fight one of your own kind.

Gunmar: You are not my kind, Impure.

Nomura: (To humans.) Go!

Gunmar and Nomura both clash their weapons. Nomura has the speed, but Gunmar was still far stronger as Jim was knock towards the cliff.

Gunmar: You do not deserve my blade.

Gunmar knocks her against the wall before throwing a boulder at her. She dodge, but not completely as her leg was stuck and Claire saw Nomura is stuck.

Claire: Toby, help me. We can't leave her like this.

Toby: Or can we?

YN: Says the one who was saved by her.

Toby: Fine, fine.

YN: Go help Nomura, I'll help Jim!

They both nod and head down while Gunmar approaches Jim who still tries to summon his sword.

Gunmar: I have waited centuries. Tell me where is the Bridge?

Gunmar uses the sword to try to control Jim but his armor protected him.

Gunmar: Your armor's not going to protect you for long! If you do not tell me, I will turn you all! You must tell me!

Gunmar uses the sword power once again on Jim until he hears someone shouted.

???: Gunmar!!

Gunmar turn around only to meet a orange glowing disk. In a flash, Gumnar backs away from pain and notice his left side horn has been in cut off. He looks and saw it was YN who did it with a disc like lava spinning.

Gunmar: How dare you, human!

YN: That's YN LN. That is my name, never forget it even in death!

Gunmar was about to swing his sword at the earthbender until out of nowhere, Aarg landed on top of Gunmar to knock him away.

Gunmar: You! Traitor!

YN: Come on!

YN grabs Jim's arm to get out of the troll fight as Blinky arrives.

Blinky: Master Jim! Master Jim, you're alive!

Meanwhile, Aarg is fighting Gunmar with brute strength until Gunmar knocks him back against the wall. 

Gunmar: Aarg! You have gone soft. Let my blade remake you.

Aarg: Never! You've grown old. Weaker!

Gunmar: Strong enough to kill you still. Would you rather die?

Aarg: Done that.

Aarg grabs Gunmar by the horn and slams him against the wall as it crumbles down.

Blinky: Excelsior! But no time to celebrate. Let's make haste.

YN: And I for one don't want to wait for a one horn and eye troll waking up.

They run away from Gunmar and soon they needed to climb up as the gumm-gumms are getting close.

YN: Oh no. I ain't gonna waste time to climb all the way up. Everyone get close!

Everyone does so and YN uses his earthbending. It was struggling at first due to the weight, but he pushes himself more as he successfully raises the platform up.

Once they reach above ground, YN drops the platform and creates lava on the wall like a waterfall to prevent the gumm-gumms following. 

YN: That'll hold them off.

Toby: Almost there, guys! Gotta keep moving. Time's running out!

Blinky: Oh, dear. Master Jim! Master YN!

A group of gumm-gumms block their path as Jim and YN stood in front.

YN: We don't have time for this!

He was about to use lava bending until suddenly the gyre arrive with Draal driving where he knocks all the gumm-gumms away.

Blinky: What are you doing here?

Draal: My father said I had a choice. This is my choice. Get in!

YN & Toby: Shotgun!

Draal: Let's get this thing moving!

Jim: Make room for one more. She's coming with us.

Draal: (Surprise.) Nomura.

Nomura: Fancy seeing you here.

Everyone got on and Draal drives as it gyre moves fast to reach the bridge close.

Draal: The Bridge! It's closing!

Jim: Go, go!

Just then a gigantic serpent stood between them and the bridge.

Blinky: A Nyarlagroth!

YN: Oh no, we ain't stopping for some giant worm! Step on it Draal!

Jim: And don't stop for nothing!

Draal: This will do some damage!

Draal accelerate the gyre and it went through the giant worm with the amount of speed.

Claire: Faster! It's closing!

With all the gyre speed it got, they successfully got through the bridge and made it back to their own world and crashed by the tree.

YN: Oh my god....we made it!

Jim finally lays down where he can finally rest easy. Knowing that he's no longer in the darkland anymore while Blinky and Toby are still hugging out of nervousness. 

Blinky: I know one thing for certain. I hope to never see the likes of that Bridge ever again.

YN: Aarg, help me with the bridge.

Aarg nods and they both destroy the bridge into pieces before they all hug together.

Toby: Awesome sauce!

Blinky: Master Jim!

Toby: Jim! You're home!

Jim: It's so, so good to see you guys!

YN then notice Nomura is sitting by the rock alone and Jim notice it too before asking.

Jim: You want in?

Nomura: That's not my thing. Thank you, little Gynt. I have to hand it to you, you were right.

Jim: About what?

Nomura: Hope. Friends.

Blinky: I believe this belongs to you, Master Jim.

Blinky hands Jim his amulet who gladly took it as it fly on his chest to turn his armor back to blue.

Jim: Feels good to have this back.

Jim climbs above the boulder to have a better view of the landscape as he smiles before Claire hugs him.

Claire: I missed you.

The couples are now back together and they both kiss as Aarg cover Toby eyes from seeing.

Aarg: Private.

Draal: Ugh! A savage custom.

Nomura: Absolutely.

YN: Didn't you dated my uncle once?

Nomura: ...I have no idea what you're talking about.
The couples separated their kiss for Jim to speak.

Jim: I missed you too.

Claire: (Chuckles.) You've also missed a few showers.

Blinky: Let's get rid of this Bridge once and for all.

Toby: Ha! Just wait until Trollmarket gets a load of Jim and Aarg. (Gasp.) Oh, no! The Tribunal! They're gonna go crazy town banana pants when they find out what we've been up to!

Blinky: Frankly, who cares? We have our Trollhunter back.

YN: That's all that matters along with Gunmar stuck in the darkland. Let's go home.

Nomura: Home...

Everyone got started to collect the bridge remains to get rid of it while Nomura was alone for a moment until YN comforts her.

YN: I know its not a best idea, but you're always welcome to live at our home if you ever need a place in Arcadia. I'm sure my uncle would approved, because as far as I know, you've earned it for helping us.

Nomura: Heh, I'll think about it or at least keep that in mind.

Once they got rid of the bridge remains, they all went back home before nightfalls. But little did they knew, something else got out of the darkland....
