Mairin's POV
I was in homeroom, everyone was talking and out of their seats.

Then the teacher walked in and everyone ran to their seats.

I looked at her and saw a boy with green hair and blue eyes following her.

"Class!" The teacher said.

We sat there silently.

"We have a new student, everyone this is Sawyer"

Sawyer waved and we waved back.

"Sawyer you will be sitting by Mairin, Mairin raise you're hand please"

I raised my hand.

Sawyer walked over to me and smiled warmly at me as he sat down.

"Hi I'm Sawyer!" Sawyer said.

"Hi, the names Mairin!" I shook his hand.

Sawyer looked behind me where Tinybrat sat.

"Who's that?" He whispered.

"That's Britt, but call her Tinybrat" I mumbled.

"Do you not like her?" Sawyer asked.

"Like her? I HATE her"

"Why?" He asked

"She bullies me and my friends, she's a drama queen, and she's rude to me!" I was getting pumped.

"Ok ok, are you in some kind of group with you're friends?" Sawyer asked.

"Yea there's me, Serena, Ash, Clemont, and Shauna" I pointed to everyone.

"Cool" Sawyer said.

"If you want, you can join our group" I smiled.

"Really?!?" Sawyer looked so happy.

"You can meet them after class" I said.

Then the bell rang.

"Guys!" I yelled as Sawyer and I were running to them.

"Hi Mairin!" Shauna smiled.

"Hey Shauna!" I said.

"Hello Sawyer!" Serena said.

"Hi" he answered.

"Would it be okay if Sawyer joined our little group?" I asked.

"Yeah!" Ash said.

"The more the merrier!" Shauna said.

"Of course!" Serena said.

"Fine by me!" Clemont said.

"Thanks everyone!" Sawyer said.

"Hey Shauna, did you ask Trevor to the dance yet?" I asked.

"Yes I did and he said yes!!" Shauna squealed.

Then I thought of Alain...

"What dance?" Sawyer asked.

"There's a Valentines Dance on Friday here at the school" Ash said.

"Oh yeah! Mairin I asked Korrina and she said that she'd love to go to the dance with me!" Clemont blushed.

"Awesome!" I said.

Now I can ask Alain...

"Maybe I can ask Tinybrat!" Sawyer said.

"Oh that's right! Mairin, Tiny is going with Alain, I'm sorry Mairin and Sawyer" Shauna frowned.

My heart stopped.

"Where did you get that news?!?" I snapped.

"Tiny told me yesterday after school, I was gonna text you but I had to much homework" Shauna said.

I teared up.

"Hey Mairin!" Sawyer said.

I looked at him "yeah?" I tried to keep the tears in.

"Maybe we can go together.." He blushed.

"That's a great idea! Then all of us could go together!" Serena exclaimed.

"Sure sounds like fun!" I smiled.

Inside I felt like I was shot.

The bell rang and we all went to separate classes, and i headed to Art class...

At least my friends are by my side:)
