It was Monday...yay.

I was thinking of asking Alain, but Tinybrat and Alain we're hanging out all day! And they never do that!

It's now lunchtime I'm gonna ask Alain to the dance!

"Hey Alain! Can I sit with you?" I asked.

"Uhh..sure I guess, but why aren't you gonna sit with Astrid, Misty, and Miette?" Alain asked.

"No reason!" I blushed.

(A few minutes later...)

"Alain..." I asked.

"Yeah, what's up?" Alain asked.

"I was...was...wondering i-i-if you'd like to go t-t-t-to the dance with me?" I was really nervous, I really like Alain.

Alain stared at me.

"Yeah, uhh sure" Alain said.

"Really?!?!" I said.

"Yeah I'd love to" Alain said and went to dump his lunch tray.

Yes! Success! Now Mairin can't go to the dance with Alain!!

~Afterschool~

Finally! Alain was alone!

He was sitting on a bench, under a pink flower tree, and he was playing on his phone!

So dreamy.

My hands were shaking and my palms were sweating I was so scared!

Why am I even doing this? He's just gonna say no:(

I walked up to Alain.

He looked up from his phone.

"What do you want, you little rat?" Alain asked.

"I-I-I...was w-w-ondering I..I...if you'd go t-t-to the-" I stopped.

"I can't do this!" I thought and ran away.

I started to cry.

What's the point? He hates me!

I kept running and crying.

"MAIRIN!" I looked up and saw Clemont.

He ran over to me.

"Why are you crying?" He asked.

Then I realized i was going to the dance with Clemont!

"N-N-Nothing!" I said and wiped my tears.

"Ok, hey did you hear about the new kid?" Clemont asked.

"New kid? No I didn't hear, who?" I asked.

"I don't know. But Professor Oak said there was a new kid coming tomorrow" Clemont said.

"Cool! I can't wait to see her or him!" I chuckled.

"I better go! Sure you're ok?" Clemont asked.

"Yeah I'm fine, bye Clemont!" I said and walked home.
